peter lin: Luis and his daughter Maria runs the ranch. We love their passion and energy and love for the horses. This was the first time we've seen Paso Fino horses and it was great learning about their history. These horses are very special and unlike any other horses we've ever ridden before. The restaurant they took us to after was very delicious also. Over all one of the best things we've done here in Cartagena.

J.A. Clay: The pickup at our hotel was right on time. Luis and Gustavo drove us to the beautiful finca in Manzanillos where we were taught about the history of the Paso Fino Colombiano horses. The horses looked very well maintained and totally calm an at ease. We got a demonstration of the different paces of different horse breeds, which was very interesting as well. Next, we drove a short bit to a nearby hotel where we got a nice refreshing drink and our caps. The horses were brought there already by two attendants/trainers whom guided us during the whole ride. We had a beautiful ride on the beach, very well guided, also very safe for the horses.It was safe for a first-timer and a third-timer, it went very well after just a short while and with some tips and trics during the ride.It was a perfect tour, absolutely unforgettable. Many thanks to Luis, Gustavo and the two guys guiding and helping us.

This was originally my wife's idea and I was just along for the ride since I had done horse back riding before. Well by the end I think i might have enjoyed the experience more than my wife! Luis is the very definition of professional. He communicated the day before to make sure that we were prepared for the excursion, he arrived early the next morning to our hotel (which was noteworthy considering some of our other excursions started late) and was a complete gentleman. The day started with us meeting the different horses and getting to know about the history of the Pase Fino horses in Colombia. We also got to feed the horses which was fun and there was a small exhibition where the trainer showed off the horses walking in their natural pase fino gate. A truly remarkable sight! Next we were given water while we listened to Maria's instruction about proper riding technique and important safety tips. Then after gauging our experience and comfort level, Luis helped us pick out horses and we headed to the beach while our horses were prepared. Before riding we stopped at the beautiful beachside hotel and had a refreshing drink. Once the horses were brought to the beach we hopped on and rode down the whole coast of the beach. Along the way we got to enjoy the view of the city in the distance and Luis captured different moments from our ride with pictures and videos. After the long ride we were brought back to the beachside hotel and enjoy one of the best meals that we had throughout our entire stay. Definitely would suggest going with one of the entrée options Luis recommends. You won't be disappointed! Afterwards we were able to take some more pictures before Luis and Maria took us back to our hotel. The whole experience lasted around 6 to 7 hours and we enjoyed every minute of it. A truly unforgettable experience and worth every penny! So thanks again Luis and Maria

Unforgettable, delicious, very educational. Then we did a market tour with Dan, he was so friendly and knew the maze of the alleys and stalls well. Definitely go with a guide. Dan had great vibes and helped us buy produce. He made sure we got to try local juice and fruit and surprised us with a souvenir at the end, a customized poster from a local artist. Ken Goosney: Outstanding!! I’ve been using En Columbia Kite as my home base during my vacation. I store my gear here so I don’t have to carry it to and from the hotel each day. The staff are such nice people, they pump your kite, run your lines and when you done they take it all down for you, they really take care of your gear. They have showers and a dunk tank to rinse gear and yourself. The food is fantastic and the beer is always cold. I took a lesson to improve my kiteloops, money well spent, great instruction and now I have lost to work on. Highly recommend this place, great vibe, great people and big smiles🤙

I had booked a trip to Blue Apple Beach through this company for a Sunday, i got an email confirming that i was all set and ready to go for me and 3 other people. I then received an email the next day saying unfortunately there is no availability for Sunday (after i already got a confirmation) and was asked if i would like to go Monday, and without an argument i said no problem. I received a confirmation to meet at their office at 10:30AM, and that's exactly what i did. The office was closed (due to a holiday that i would have no idea about because i was just vacationing and it was never mentioned when they had me move my reservation to this day) So we called and called and then i emailed and finally got a hold of someone and they said they were having someone come pick us up, and would refund me for the at least the transportation. At this point my friends and i have already got in a taxi to get on a boat to make sure we can enjoy the day at the island we had all paid for already, not only did we have to pay for a taxi, we had to pay a decent amount of money to get us to an island by a different boat. Not only did they refuse to refund me for what was their mistake after they said they would, they ignored my last email asking them to reconsider that decision. So for anyone visiting Colombia, i don't recommend going through this company, Blue Apple Beach was great once we were there so i would just find another way to get there so you don't have to pay double like we did.

s heydt: One of the best best vacations we've ever taken! Rainbow Nelson and his talented team looked after every detail of our nine days in and around Cartagena. We traveled with our three children and my parents--there was something fun for everyone. This Is Cartagena planned wonderfully creative adventures for us each day, like a treasure hunt for the kids, salsa dancing lessons, chocolate making, floating in a mud volcano, tours through the market and a gondola ride through the mangroves. They arranged for daily Spanish lessons (Gustavo was fantastic with the kids!) and private tours with dynamic, talented guides (Ronaldo and Alex!). We chose Colombia because we hoped to expose our children to other cultures and ways of life. I'll admit I was a little nervous to travel there, but we felt safe at every moment--and I appreciated the efforts they made to Introduce us to aspects of real life in Cartagena, beyond the typical tourist experiences. It left a lasting impact upon us all!The accommodations were great. We loved the Casa Hobo and the amazing staff! Excellent food at every meal--we dined in several times and were treated to traditional Colombian cuisine. The week also included several meals out on the town arranged by This is Cartagena. They planned for a range of dining experiences that were occasionally adventous, but always delicious! Our three days at a private beach retreat were heavenly! The place came equipt with a beautiful pool overlooking the Caribbean, food served up under the palm trees, and daily excursions on speedboats to explore the nearby islands. It was paradise! What luck we had finding Rainbow and his team. We were so well looked after--leaving it all to come home was the hardest part!

John Edison Muñoz Cardona: Great place to get your PADI certificates. The location is very convenient, I did my training with Alvaro, a very patient and friendly guy that helped us through the diving process. They were very attentive at the beginning with the theoretical lessons, always making sure you completed all the requirements. The only aspect for improving is the social media since the communication was a bit rude at the beginning, probably without intention, but could be missinterpreted.

Cat: First scuba diving experience and couldn’t have asked more a more professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was able to practice in the pool a day before with our Scuba Instructor Alvaro which made me feel more comfortable. Highly recommend this team. Easy payment, prompt communication, Spanish and English speaking. And the pictures/short video clips of us diving came out wonderful. Truly a great experience!

Felix Enescu: Did a two dive trip in January and all was ok.Equipment was in good condition and worked perfectly, dive master was professional and handled everything very well.Boat was ok, water and fruit were served between dives.I was in a group with only one another certified diver and dive master. All the groups on the boat were small and set according to experience.Special thanks to my dive master, when we finished my first dive, I still had a lot of air (other diver was a big air consumer) so the dive master went only with me for another shorter dive ( about 20 minutes). Of course we end the dive above safety level at 600 psi.

Nigel Bouckley: This is a five star resort for a reason. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and profesional in their conduct of training. Safety is important to them and during my last two courses with them I felt safe and assured that they were looking after my welfare.The dive sights were interesting and varied and they catered for the abilities of those on the boat, often having several instructors / guides leading the various groups.My instructor for the week was Santiago, who spoke very good English as well as being a good communicator under water.I will definitely be back this year for more dives and learning - thank you all.

Danielle Osfalg: I really enjoyed and had a great time with this company. First of all, the owner Juan made it so easy to sign up and all the paper work etc was easily accessible via internet. He and staff was also kind enough to pick me up from a boat I was on and bring me back because we had a dinghy problem. The dive masters were extremely helpful and friendly and spoke English and took very good care of us before, during and after our diving experience. The most important was the safety of each person and and they observed and paid good attention to everyone s needs. We did 2 dives at the island of Baru (which was a short distance from Cartagena from Nautica Marina ) and both were very different and interesting. First one was a lot of marine life, fish , corals etc but the second one was even more interesting with the addition of a sunken shipwreck and some cool objects covered in barnacles ( which i don’t want to give details so not to spoil the surprise) . On top of that i did not have a camera and my divemaster not only guiding us thru and paying attention to safety but also made the day unforgettable with the beautiful pictures he took of us during our dive session ( which i will share some here and THANKYOU again! You rock! 🤘🐬😘).So from my point of view I highly recommend Juan and the scuba team . Thank you guys!! I hope to visit Cartagena and find you again for some more fun diving adventures! Till then..
