Great hostel, super nice host Elias! Thanks for the help with laundry and making us feel welcomed over new year’s eve in fully packed Cartagena. Definitely recommended for tourists from Europe
Lovely place. Wonderful city. Staying at Mansion Bahia Manga gave me the opportunity to enjoy Cartagena better. Mansion Bahia Manga became my oasis of privacy and comfort that allowed me to recoup and have the required energy to face the city's lively atmosphere and tropical weather. I highly recommend Mansion Bahia Manga. Elias is a wonderful and caring host. Whenever I go back, I will make sure to stay there :). Thank you.
A great place to stay just outside the busy historic centre of Cartagena but close enough to stroll in . Near the marina and some nice restaurants. We only planned to stay two nights but ended up staying nearly a week. Very comfortable and Elias , our host, was very welcoming. Hope to return again.
Built in the 1930s, during the Republican architectural style period in Colombia.
The Mansion has been restored with all the commodities of the present and the beauty of its pass, but with the same community atmosphere, and the friendly attention of the local natives and their culture. The rooms in the Mansion are spacious with high ceiling, fan, cold AC, and a new private bathroom, big windows to enjoy the morning light, and a secure keyed entrance.
This is the Mansion, where our parents lived for many years, and where we grew up.
Now we want to restore its beautiful architectural design to the glorious days when it hosted big elegant parties, weddings, and important social events.
You will have access to all parts of the Mansion, and all other areas in service. Even though all bedrooms will have TVs in the future, we share a social TV area, dining rooms, living rooms, and a kitchen.
If you would like assistance during your stay, we will help you find what you want and help you make your stay a memorable experience in Cartagena.
