Flor Bonilla: My husband and I did the Day Spa Pass, and it was an amazing experience. Our spa day began with a refreshing cold tea, we then changed into robes in their locker rooms. We had a body scrub followed by a one hour long massage. It was so relaxing! Our scrub left our skin so smooth! We then got to enjoy the pool and spa which were absolutely beautiful! The staff helped us get lounge chairs under the shade. The drinks and food at the pool bar were great and the attention they provide to clients is superb. The hotel did not have a first aid kit, which is mandatory. So I had to treat my wound as best I could with what was available at that time. The next morning I woke up with a tick on my skin, which clearly came from the hotel bed since I did not have it on my body the night before.A few hours later I was told about a policy of paying for sheets that have blood stains, $150 COP which is a very high amount in a country like Colombia. It is also a totally discriminatory, shamming and humiliating policy. What happens when a woman stains the sheets because of her menstruation? Both situations are involuntary and do not represent a misuse of the sheets. This type of situation should already be included in the hotel's cleaning budget. In addition to this they show me the policy where they only ask for $50 COP for spoiling the sheets (plural) why were they charging me more?On the positives the staff was very nice, excluding the manager who ignored the tick issue and the first aid kit.GARRAPATAS, POLÍTICAS DISCRIMINATORIAS & SIN KIT DE PRIMEROS AUXILIOSHicimos el check in así alrededor de las 22hrs. Yo venia con una herida en la pierna por lo tanto lo primero que hice fue pedir el kit de primeros auxilios. El hotel no contaba con un kit de primeras urgencias, lo cual es obligatorio. Por lo tanto tuve que curar mi herida lo mejor posible con lo que había disponible a esas horas. A la mañana siguiente I la de nosotros amanecio con una garrapata en mi piel, que claramente provenía de la cama del hotel ya que la noche anterior no la tenía en el cuerpo.Unas horas más tarde me comentan sobre una política de pagar por sábanas que tienen manchas de sangres, $150 COP lo cual un monto muy alto en un país como Colombia. Ademas es una política totalmente descriminatoria y humillante. Que pasa cuando una mujer mancha las sábanas por su menstruacion? Ambas situaciones son involuntarias y no representan un mal uso de las sábanas. Este tipo de situaciones ya deberían estar incluidas dentro del presupuesto de limpieza del hotel. Además de esto me muestran la política donde solo se piden $50 COP por estropear las sábanas (plural) ¿porque me estaban cobrando más?En los positivos el staff fue muy querido, excluyendo a la manager quien ignoró el tema de la garrapata y el kit de primeras auxilios.

Mister Anon: 3 nights was lovely. A very real charm to the place. Great location and surprisingly quiet given the streets nearby are extremely intense. Unfortunately the hot water was an issue (albeit most of Colombia has similar issues), the upstairs Jacuzzi/Bar was closed during high shoulder season ? and 1 particular staff member with a heavy lisp and almost no English was impossible to deal with especially during a travel emergency we experienced. (Yes I know it's not her fault for the lisp, but perhaps not the right person to be handling customer relations given her almost inaudible Spanish) Thankfully Ceasar who is a concierge and tour guide really went out of his way to help.

Christopher Sherman: Wonderful staff and beautiful accommodations. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. They helped arrange a covid-19 test to be done in our room and the results in 2 hours. The food was made to order eggs each morning with fruits and sausage. Nice little selection to get the day started. They have someone to help arrange any tours or needs that you may have. I spent 4 hours each day ready in a hammock and absolutely loved every minute of it. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Cartagena.

Ils n’ont pas compris que dans un hôtel qui se veut d’un certain standing, la clientèle recherche le calme et la tranquillité. Ici, la radio hurle (c’est le mot exact) et le personnel chante avec en riant à gorge déployée (tant mieux pour eux, mais encore une fois nous n’avons pas payé pour ça). Quand on leur a demandé de baisser la radio, ils l’ont fait sur le coup, puis ils ont remonté le son. Et le lendemain matin, rebelote, radio qui hurle… C’est inadmissibleSalle de bains propre, chambre sale au sol (ne marchez pas pieds nus), lit très confortable, climatisation qui ne fait pas de bruit (ça nous change par rapport à d’autres hôtels).

Took time off the “massage” for rinsing off in the shower when the girl asked me to and then she finished 15 minutes early due to “shower time.” All because she wanted to leave since she immediately left the hotel after we finished.Didn’t charge us for couples massage even though we tried to get that and then charged us more for single massage.She also gave me a wet/used towel to “dry” off with.Definitely a money scam and would never recommend to others.
