LUCY JEWELRY: what do users think?
Sabina: In love with my beautiful ring. Lucy store helped my partner whose Colombia choose a commitment ring as he likes to call it and even when I was looking I didn't have a clue that the store and my partner were already talking. Very cute and the ring is just stunning.Highly recommended great staff and my day was made special. Thank you. Cartagena and Lucy jewelry will always be a special moment I won't forget.
joséphine IBLED: The place looks great and professional. We bought a ring there. Turns out the stone was modified when we had it expertised by a professional in France. The 3K Ring was only worth 400euros if NEW. What a scam. (went for different feedbacks at different jewellers before you say anything). I don't recommend at all.
peter martinez: Went to at least 7 jewelry store Lucy had the best quality and best prices than other. They don’t pay commission to guides who steer you to other jewelry stores.many other stores had extremely inflated price. They also have unique one of a kind designs
Francine Chantal: Service impeccale, professionnels,Certificat d authenticité.
Emily Howard: I went in to purchase an emerald piece. I had a price range in mind, and the staff was so kind and patient as I tried to decide between earrings, a necklace, and a ring. They let me try each piece on and shared prices clearly as I walked around. They were not pushy at all, and I had a very positive experience. If you’re going to purchase here, know that silver pieces will be less expensive (a necklace with 0.3 karat emerald around 175 USD). Yellow gold is more, around 400 for similar necklace, or earrings, or rings a little more.
Paul Maleski: Definitively the best location to buy emeralds in Cartagena.
Amrita Patel: The kindest owners and most gorgeous jewels! Thank you 😊
Noel Kearney: I highly recommend this jewellers to anyone! Alexandria (apologies if that’s not spelt correctly) was absolutely excellent, happy to explain things to us, and just a genuinely nice person who cared about finding us the perfect piece of jewellery at the right price.
Brandy Trexler: There are a 1000 places to buy emeralds in Cartagena. But Lucy is the only place you won’t feel pressured. They will work with you to find something you love within your budget. They were super and got all the paperwork in order to file with DAIN for tax refund. My next visit I’ll be back to complete the set!
Estefania LONDOÑO: I love this place, emeralds of the highest quality and spectacular designs. In addition, the attention is unique! ✨
Viviana Sofia Escamilla Torres: The best jewelry store in Cartagena de Indias Colombia! Definitely a place to visit and buy the most amazing emeralds! Love it! Charming and excellent location. Highly recommended! Will come back next trip
Michelle Acevedo F.: Wonderful attention, the jewelry is precious.
santi julio paut: Excellent place to visit and buy gold products and precious stone products...
James Danley: I’ve purchased jewelry from Lucy’s on 3 different occasions now and I must say that their reputation as Cartagena’s premium emerald jewelry store is completely accurate! Both Lucy & Alejandra are extremely knowledgeable and professional; they’ll help guide you to select the right gift for any occasion. They source the best stones in the world, design and hand craft all of their jewelry lines as well as provide you with credentials and certifications for every piece. This is the ONLY store in which you should purchase emeralds in Cartagena.
Mabel Garcia: Good attention
Irene Evans: The staff and quality of the product I have a lovely bracelet I purchased from them.
Maria Bonilla: Pretty
maxje jeyson geliz: A jewelry store that sells Colombian treasures

Lucy Jorge: On my trip to Cartagena I went to the jewelry store and museum and I found it very interesting and I also bought a jewel with which I had a situation that they knew how to solve with a lot of professionalism. If I had the chance to go to Colombia I would go back again. Excellent service.
Manuel Alejandro Abreo Devars: I liked the jewelry.
Sean Moore: Very sad and terrible experience. I was followed into the bathroom and intimidated by some sobaka that works there. Been to over 65 countries across 7 continents and have never been treated as such. Terribly sad that in 2023 there are still people who have such poor mannerisms and education
Carlos Llera Novau: Curious exhibition-museum but it is a tourist visit, included in a City-Tour, which feels like an abuse of the tourist's time. Cheeky business approach.
Tom Hart: Visited in March. Took the jewelry making class, toured the museum and store. Our instructor, Ada, was so patient with us and we have handmade souvenirs to take home. (Plus my wife's purchase from the store) The owners even posed with my wife with her new necklace.
Mario Mazzei serrano: Excellent information on the subject of the emerald, its history, its exploitation and its use in jewelry.
Jaume Aleu Lorente: Little museum and many emerald shops, typical of the area. only for purchases
Travel City Tours: Excellent museum experience.

Caribe Jewelry: what do users think?
MapoHackers: All of excellent quality
santi julio paut: Good place to buy gold and precious stones.
Kari Morgan: Very nice
Absurdo! Pelo menos consegui a devolucao e o estorno do valor. Não recomendo
Kandy Ross Garcia Narvaez: beautiful jewelry
Alexis Galvez: Excellent place, excellent service, 100% personalized attention. My most sincere congratulations to everyone for their attention, especially to Don Alfredo Díaz for his hospitality, kindness and simplicity.100% recommendable
Heylen Lopez: The best jewelry selection in town. Reliable and certified.
Colombia Tour Guide: The best.
Coordinación Auto evaluación: This place is very nice, the advisors show interest in clarifying the doubts of people who want to buy jewelry. They speak fluent English and it is a very good option, in relation to product price.Highly recommended, they have a wide variety
Paul Harbottle: Get a guide and learn about the very rich history of this fabulous city.
Chaz Dee: A very spectacular museum to see. I have never seen such beautiful emeralds in such exquisite shapes and settings. In addition, I did not know the jewel of such abundance in Colombia. This is inside the walled city so make sure you have good walking shoes and a few pesos as I didn't notice many ATMs at night. Plenty of food and drink in all directions. The museum is not expensive and is very informative. I highly recommend it.
Rafael Fis: The museum shared great history background on the stone, however, a bit pricy.
Scott Onuczko: We stumbled upon this place as we were visiting the old city and found the salesperson who helped us very patient, accommodating and helpful. She quickly ascertained our budget and then showed us several different options within it. She wasn’t aggressive or judgemental, like some of the other salespeople in the other emerald stores that we visited. We had a pleasant experience buying from here and would recommend this place.
Rafael Suarez: The best emerald house
Fiorella Medina (fio_gio): Very good explanation of the emeralds, first class care, and excellent jewelry.
gabriel galvis navarro: excellent I recommend it
Claudia De Aguas: Explendida
Fidel Saavedra Culquicondor: Beautiful places
Serge Fedorchuk: Small interesting museum

Amarla Boutique Hotel Cartagena: what do users think?
Daniel Rubio Sánchez: The hotel is fantastic. Well located, taken care of and the staff makes you feel like home. I recommend it without hesitation.
David Weber: We had the pleasure of staying at Amarla Boutique Hotel in Cartagena for 2 days and it was simply perfect! The hotel has a great location in the heart of the old town and its staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the spacious rooms to their rooftop terrace with stunning views, every detail is guaranteed to make your stay a memorable one. Highly recommend it!
julian roth: Service is a bit slow but I supose its part of the carribean experience. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is beautiful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
ariel perdomo: ExcellentRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Carmen Morawska: This is such a special hotel. The common areas are beautiful, and it has definitely kept its colonial charm whilst feeling very luxurious. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The only issue is we had a desk semi-blocking the door, so accessing the balcony wasn’t easy. It’s also worth noting that it’s quite noisy at night. Not the hotel’s fault as it’s coming from the street below, but for the rooms that face the road, maybe they could offer earplugs. The shower did not get very hot for very long and the old shower head means the water sort of splatters in weird directions, but it wasn’t terribly inconvenient. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
Marc Jerome: My wife and I just returned from a three night stay at this wonderful boutique property. The stay was wonderful because both the property and the service were excellent. Our room—#1– was lovely, quiet and peaceful with high ceilings and a large bathroom. The common areas are beautiful and stylish. The rooftop pool was perfect to relax at. But most importantly, the level of service was so good, we felt like we were staying at a private Villa. Every morning, fresh coffee with hot milk was waiting for us before our run. Breakfast, which is included, was delicious. See photos below. For the price, you cannot beat the level of service or room amenities. We highly recommend this 6 room hidden gem. Special shout out to the wonderful staff, including our food server, Dorian; Otto who greeted us in the am and Eduardo andClaudia, who helped make our stay memorable.

Ana Isis Duarte: Amarla far exceeded expectations in all facets. The staff was courteous, helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my family’s stay absolutely marvelous. Everything on the breakfast menu is outstanding and the staff gladly made any slight alterations to meals to meet there needs of the pickiest of eaters. The front office staff are experts of the old town and have amazing recommendations for food and sights. They were extremely helpful in navigating transportation needs. 100% stay here if you are in Cartagena!!!For any event, I highly recommend Angie. She was detail oriented, responsive, and well-connected. She is personable and navigated any request, no matter how last-minute, with care, attention to detail, and grace. She made the entire wedding party feel at home and provided us with service that went above and beyond her role. She truly is an amazing person and fantastic at her job. We were lucky to work with her and would jump at any opportunity to work with her again if the opportunity would arise. Truly and eternally grateful for her work and partnership throughout the planning and execution of our wedding.

CHIQUI HOUSE BOUTIQUE: what do users think?
Alison Rooney: Stopped by recently as it was highly recommended. It is very over priced and there wasn’t any service there whatsoever. Hardly anyone was in the store and they staff seemed preoccupied. I bought two small items and they were overpriced for what they were. Suggest other spots in Cartagena.

ANGÉLICA Faciolince: I have fond memories of this place that unfortunately closed.
Dina Herrera: This place unfortunately no longer exists in the historic center of the city.It was super delicious and cosy.
Cindy Vega Marin: It no longer exists
Veronica Rincon: Unfortunately due to the pandemic this place is closed, it's a shame, we really had high expectations. It's sad that places like this are finished by the pandemic.
Melo :D: I'm sorry for the people who want to visit the choco museum because they closed it due to a pandemic and the choco museum no longer exists 😭
Andres Ardila: No longer exists !
Christian Restrepo: There is two address, one address for some reason takes you to a small town a bocadillo which is ABSOLUTELY WRONG.The other address is in centro histórico which I do not know it exist as the address listed on google was totally wrong and gave up after being ripped off by mindless cab driver.
James Vinasco: It is a place you like, you are not only going to buy, they also give you a tour to tell you about the procedure with the cocoa, the flavors according to the regions. Then you can taste and buy from a wide variety of flavors and combinations
Yenifer: THIS MUSEUM NO LONGER EXISTS IN CARTAGENA
adriana espina moron: I loved. A spectacular site
Marc Van Baar: Sebastian was our master chef and guided us through 2 hours of making chocolates. At the end you make 16 to take home. Sebastian was great. Great way to escape throngs of cruise ship passengers if a cruise ship enters Cartagena: They will not do a 2 hour class
Luis Manuel Puerta Cassiani: Excellent
Natalie Mills: Loved it. Kids loved the chocolate workshop class making chocolates treats. Very educational and the staf(especially) Charlie, were patient and interested in sharing the chocolate process. Definitely worth the stop.
Oscar Augusto Vallejo Santos: Very good quality chocolate on the first floor, whose flavor is spectacular and on the second the museum part which is a bit sparse but attractive
Patrick Lawless: Great excursion from cruise ship. Learned about cocao peocess, tree to chocolate candy, plus uses of shells. Hands on making of our own candies and 3 different drinks. Guides were extremely informative and helpful and made the experience fun.
Leonel Arf: attention and chocolate
Arise Service Partner PF Kendra Jackson: The Choco Museo was the highlight of my trip. The service was exceptional and the experience was unimaginable.
Pedro Claver Redondo Padilla: Super
Marc Staveley: Took the chocolate making workshop with a great host. Actually learned more than I thought I would and had a lot of fun too.

Aurimar Duran: Lousy lousy lousy attention! The worst service I received in Cartagena, it hurts that a place with such a beautiful view has such attention. We asked for a song to sing birthdays and they didn't allow it because they only listen to electronic music, we were a group of more than 15 adult people to celebrate the birthday of a 60-year-old person. The hostess did not want to allow us to enter because they already wanted to close the premises and their closing time was in 3 hours!I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!It goes without saying that I would never return to this place...I would like to add that I do not recommend any dish, much less the beer that was super hot!
Andrea Paulina Márquez Escalante: The attention and service is TERRIBLE! I hope the owner reads this and realizes what they are doing with their beautiful business. They did not want to accept us at 11 because they were already picking up and the hours are until 2am. We were a group of 20 people. When we were leaving they applauded us because they wanted to leave. Awful. 0 points on everything.
Aquiles Rodríguez: A beautiful space but its extremely rude workers, not only do they not want to attend to you but they show it to you, surely the owner has no idea how badly they serve. The most expensive beer in Cartagena and hot! Unfortunately I do not recommend it and I will never return

Lady Bello: The reason why I’m putting 5 stars is because the food is sooo delicious yum yum and where the restaurant is located the is amazing. The bad part is the communication in that restaurant. If you go on google maps search up the restaurant and try to call that restaurant the number bad it doesn’t go through. I tried sooo many times I had to go to another restaurant and ask for help. That restaurant needs to adjust the number as to why they haven’t is a mystery. Once I was able to successfully make the reservations a few hours later I called to make sure my reservations was ok and then I called again the second day just make sure, call me crazy I just like to make sure everything was okay. As soon as I got there they didn’t see my reservations 🤯!!! I had to get loud and rude to the put that they called in the manager and I told the manager this is a mess on how you handle the reservations. Yeah you can also do the reservations online but I believe in doing things myself and or in person. The manager let me in because I gave him all proof that I tried calling to make a reservation and everything. We sat the table that we picked. WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR for our server to come to us. Another serve saw us tried to help and she noticed that our actual serve never came up to us. She decided to help I was soo angry on how the manager miss manages his personal. The server who help us was soo sweet to us. I left her a tip and she said that there’s a new law in Colombia that because the restaurants are paying the servers well the customers aren’t allowed to tip us. I believe alll restaurantes should follow this example.

Eduardo Garcia: Well I was expecting more but, this place is just location. The location is really nice, it feels perfect, but the food and the drinks were ahh ok. The cocktails are strong really really strong maybe good for some people but they taste like shoots not like cocktails. We order an octopus the octopus was ok but the potetos were no cook. Also one of the cocktails taste like reallly bad we did not know if it was the piratas del caribe or de one from the house the server did not know which one was. Overall just one time experience.
Estefany Parra Cardona: The best place to watch the sunset in Cartagena! One of the few places where the staff is friendly all the time and for this reason there is no doubt when giving a voluntary tip. I wish all the places in Cartagena would have made me feel this well cared for. Highly recommended!

Janin Mei: The museum is very beautiful and informative. I went with a friend who doesn't speak Spanish and for her it was very boring because almost nothing is translated into English. Also, it doesn't take long to explore it- if you speak Spanish I recommend it.
Juan Diego Molina Montoya: The place preserves the nostalgia that only the passage of time can give to a place with so many years reflected on its walls.
Fáber Alexánder Gallego Obando: Nothing to do with the space that was one day. There is no guide service, closed rooms. It doesn't justify paying for what little it offers.

Stephanie P. G.: I went on a Sunday in June/2023, the adult ticket is $23,000, there are three floors and it does not have an elevator, so it is an issue to take into account if your health does not allow you to climb stairs. The building has been restored and is beautiful, on the first floor are the exhibitions on the inquisition and human rights, a cool audiovisual recreating what it was like to blame and "prosecute" someone. On the second and third floors, it is related to the history of Cartagena. I like that the people from the museum are betting on showing Cartagena's Afro heritage as well. Recommended, if you have the chance to go, I recommend it.Of course, it would be nice if they could have guides to better complement the tour and tell some tourists that they should not step on or lie down... It would also be cool to have something more interactive with screens showing audiovisuals with oral history, with other people to give their perspectives and reconstruction of certain facts that are usually left out by the political / historical interests of the people.

Carlos Sotelo: Interesting facts about the inquisition are known
Dr. Abby: I love museums. This one was unfortunately the worst maintained one I've visited. I worry about how long some of their artifacts will last. Some exhibits are described in Spanish and English, but most in Spanish only. Overall, I learned a lot about how slavery, the Inquisition, and the fight for independence impacted the area.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More

carlos alamos: Few original samples. I expected more for such a historic city. Missing to see archive documents or exhibits of old pieces. Only 2 themes. inquisition and slavery
Miguel Prieto: Very disappointed. First of all, you need to pay to come in and then there is not even a/c. Barely any items on exhibition, just some panels with stories that you can read on any website
Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Elias Razo: Several rooms were closed and the exhibitions were incomplete. It is an historical building so I think the government should invest more on restore it.

Sophie Frank: No english translation, not really interesting
