There is a tiny access to the sea but no beach, we got non-stop bothered by people trying to sell us something and the smell of gasoline from the boats & jetskis was unbearable. Food was okay but too expensive, massage was meh and then we got rushed out. Went to other islands further out (eg Rosario) and had a much better time
Adya Maddox: lots of experiences in Cartegena seem to be based on skin color so going to say that we are a group of five black woman. We came over here for a day trip. They first tried to put too many people on the boat coming over here and wanted 4 people to sit in rows clearly for 3 people. When we arrived to the beach club we were given pretty cold welcomes by staff and it was difficult to get service. Only one of the waitresses was even nice to us so thank you to .. for your service. Everyone else was pretty rude. If you’re going to advertise drinks that come with a meal you need to specify that you can only get the drink that the hotel chooses to give us. That’s called false advertising. In addition it was also stated that the environment would be free from buying pressure. But there was pressure from vendors the whole day and were very disturbing to the peace The whole reason we chose this experience was to have a break from the vendors. So I feel like we overpayed for nothing. Just go to castillogrande and barter with the lanchas to get a fare over to Tierra bomba and go to any chill bar. Way better than wasting money for an experience that was not as advertised. Also Namaste I’d like your establishment to be aware that pesos from Black people and white people are the same so you need to treat us the same. Ridiculous.

Gabi Misiuly: I loved staying at Namaste. The yoga, meditation and the fire ceremony was really powerful and grounding. Good choice of food. The staff is friendly and really care about the satisfaction and good experience - but also not too intrusive. I am already looking forward to going back next year for few nights. Also, whoever is complaining about the beach and water - it is true it is not idealistic clear blue water, but still nice blue water. I loved it. The private beach access is nice and looked after. Also, the whole resort is peaceful and you feel connected to the nature - which I really enjoyed. Overall, really good and beautiful experience and looking forward to coming back next year! Also, I don't speak Spanish much. The staff members translated meditation and ceremony - which was really nice. I really appreciated that and now on a mission to learn Spanish haha

Juan did an excellent job of guiding me through equalizing, making sure I was comfortable and made sure my group understood all of the diving strategies . Anna Arutyunova: It was a great experience! We received a very good training in the pool before diving in the sea, the views were beautiful: big fish, coral reefs - like wooow! And the team was so nice and kind! They even took great photos of us! However, I got really scared in one moment. Lots of water went into my glasses and I couldn’t see anything. So I had to go up to the surface from the bottom. Honestly I was very scared when it happened because it’s prohibited to move up or down quickly but I couldn’t control that when it happened. I wish somebody helped me in that moment🙏

I traveled solo to the Rosario islands.All the staff was extremely friendly, they picked me up from my hotel and drop me there afterwards. They even took pictures and videos during the dive without additional costs!! (In other countries they have charged me quite a bit, and per person). Special thanks to Junior for this :)The instructions were in English but also Juan took the time to translate to Spanish and always making sure that everyone in the group was following. They work in small groups so it feels cozy.They explained us what to expect beforehand and had the patience to show us the diversity of the corals in the Rosario National Park.Something that I love is that while diving with them, we are contributing to the conservation initiatives of corals, they promote ecotourism working directly with local communities, and they are part of the program of adaptive scuba for people with disabilities. Highly recommended!!

Hubert Kettenberger: I came here for a package of five dives including a night dive. Everything was very well organized, safe and well maintained. The staff is relaxed, helpful and the dive sites boast a diverse set of marine creatures. Dive master Juan took us on an exciting night dive and showed us a lot of fish, crustaceans and the bioluminescent plankton. His calm and competent nature made this an unforgettable experience.Bonus fact: part of the $$ go into a project of Diving Planet to offer scuba diving for handicapped persons as part of their rehabilitation.

felipe niño: Pretty amaizing experience. Comunication was perfect. Pick up was perfect travel to the island in order. The diving itself was amazing, we went to Isla Grande, not that many fish but hust seeing the corals was amazing, so many different shapes and colors are beautiful to see. The team and diving guide LEA was super friendly and very helpful. The island itself was so amazing to bad we couldnt stay there longer.

But the night dive was incredible! They pick you up and drop you off at your hotel and we were able to watch the sunset out on the water before the night dive. Such a cool experience that I would definitely do again!!
c brown: My Diving Planet divemaster lost me on the dive. This is one of the most serious failures of a dive master. As a result, I was floating in the ocean alone without anyone. I was unable to swim against the current. My life was in danger and I was very worried. In addition, my divemaster did not check my dive belt weights and I was not able to submerge. Our return boat ride back from the Rosario Islands to Cartagena was brutal. If you have a bad back, do NOT take this Rosario Islands dive or snorkel because the boat ride will exacerbate your back pain. While having the opportunity to drive in the wake of another boat to smooth out the ride, the boat driver did not do so.Booked through Cartagena Concierge. They will not help you.

From the attention of Andrés in Cartagena and the guys on the big island - Andrés, Delio, Juan have made these days so great. A modern center, with good equipment and better professionals.
Kim Uittenbosch: We chose a 5 dive package on the Rosario Islands and we really enjoyed it. Very professional run dive outfit with good rental equipment. The boats were big and comfortable. We especially liked the night dive in which we saw a Spanish Slipper Lobster.

Very thing was well organized and the staff were attentive to everyone’s needs. The diving was great. They took us to beautiful sites, the equipment was very good and the groups were small so everyone received attention. There was good and personal attention to every detail from registration to return. It was a complete day and not just a couple dives. We highly recommend Diving Planet and look forward to going again.
John McA: I had an absolutely fantastic day diving with Diving Planet Cartagena. You need to do this. I entered their office and booked a day of scuba diving for the following day. The employees were very helpful and informative. English was spoken. Later that evening I received a message letting know where we were to meet.It took about 1 hour to take their boat from Cartagena to their resort on the Rosario Islands. There we received our gear and a talk about our day ahead. The gear was new. My bc and mask worked great. Our two dives averaged 12-15 meters depth and approxately 40 minutes each. We drifted one reef and circled a second reef. Plenty of fish to be seen. My dive master Leia was knowledgeable and attentive.They served a wonderful lunch afterwards at the resort. Very tasty with a choice for vegetarians/vegans too.If I had the time I'd have gone the next day too.

Pandrea: We walked from the parking lot along the beach for about 10 minutes, so the lighter the better. Our glamping was on the second floor we had water and electricity all the time, however on the second floor for obvious reasons the water pressure is lower.The room is very comfortable, it has air conditioning and a fan, towels for the body, for the hands, soap, shampoo and paper towels. After we paid, they said that we couldn't go on the day we had availability - that they didn't have the tour that day. At the same time, we requested the cancelation, as they couldn't deliver the services we paid for. They did not return our money and did not replay any messages anymore.
jorge zarb: I paid on October 31, 2022, 540 dollars for 3 nights in one of the most expensive rooms for April 2023, the last days of March, the hotel was closed and expropriated by the Government, the hotel notifies me of what happened and 2 months have passed and they did not refund my money, they do not answer the phone or the wasaps, so far I feel cheated by the Hotel .. BE CAREFUL THEY ARE SCAMMERS

I bought a pass for Seafarers on March 8, 2023 for a value of 640,000 cop and on April 3 when I arrive with my son at the bodeguita dock they tell me that 10 days ago it has closed and changed its name and that it is intervened by the state and that basically no one is going to show up to give explanations or to take us to do the parade that day. No one from seafarers showed up or answered the cell phone to give me a solution and to this day no one has returned my money....Unfortunate experience knowing that they were closed, not even noticing it so that we were looking for an alternative solution in time, in addition to returning the money for a service not provided. Do not even think of reserving or paying for passes with them due to the serious problem they currently present.I hope that my experience and comment serve to dissuade anyone from living the same thing.

Faria um passeio de um dia com eles, era pra eu estar nas docas às 7h30, e às 7h me mandam uma mensagem dizendo que há um protesto e para a segurança dos hóspedes não poderei ir. Perguntei a várias pessoas e ninguém sabia nada de protesto algum. Inventaram uma mentira, talvez por terem arrumado um grupo maior, não sei, mas me deram um bolo em cima da hora. Postura anti ética deste resort.

Rooms are good. food too.Management pursues dual incompatible strategy with Vaova.Sell rest in "luxury" resort and organize party hell with loud music and maximum bass for day visitors without informing the travel agencies. It is listed in the Luxury Hotels Guides, but definitely shouldn't be listed there.Atos as management does not manage to pick up guests. No communication of offers to escape noise.There is a holiday camp atmosphere, lots of staff, as a hotel guest you are tolerated but not welcome. The focus here is on entertaining the partygoers of the day. Some of the staff are friendly, many don't even say hello and aren't aware of the needs of the guests.The power generator can be heard constantly alongside the actually beautiful sound of the sea. In the morning you are awakened by the staff, which clears up party waste from the day before and prepares it for the next party. Hotel guests disturb here.Noteworthy details: Overall: little careful with guests and nature and not recommended as a holiday hotel.

Nikolay Grigorenko: We came here for one day, to hang out at the beach.After reading the reviews about 15+ beaches on the isles near Cartagena, I wasn't expecting much from the experience.This place proved to be better than I thought (and better than many other beaches, judging by the reviews).What we liked:* Fast and clear communication via WhatsApp (I made the booking on Sunday evening, for Monday morning)* Boarding the boat was ok, we had to wait for somebody 15 mins, but that's acceptable* No tricks with prices: we were not charged a single cent on top of the agreed amount, and everything that was supposed to be included in the tour, was there. Prices in the menu on site were also correct, without further surprises in the bill.* Welcoming and unintrusive personnel on the beach* Comfortable beach beds with shadow roof above* Appropriate volume of music, not too loudThere was nothing that we disliked too much, but here are a few things, worth mentioning as some drawbacks:* Food was eatable, but not more than that* Same for the drinks - drinkable, but not too good* Beach was ok for our purpose (to relax near the beachfront and work a bit), but if you are looking for some picturesque place with crystal clear turquoise water, you should probably look beyond Terra Bomba. But then again, it would be a significantly longer boat ride and higher costs.Overal this place is a definitely a good option for this price (35 USD per person, incl. boat, beachbed, lunch) and we didn't regret coming here.

jesse s: We went to Bomba Beach Club which is a part of Namaste. For the day pass price it was pretty solid (we paid 300 mil pesos for two). The staff were very friendly and the vibe was very relaxed (great if you are not looking for a party atmosphere).Definitely looked a bit different from the photos but that’s to be expected. When booking Bomba you will NOT have access to the rest of Namaste unless you pay for it.The beds and hammocks were great and yes the ocean is a a bit rocky but that is everywhere here and not the fault of the beach club.If you are looking for an easy place to get to that won’t hit the wallet hard check it out.
