Dani Yidi: Hostels will always have good and bad. The rooms were cleaned everyday and other travelers were wonderful, they had activities and most of the staff was friendly. With the exception of a creepy (made me feel unsafe and was grabbing me by the wrist and followed me into the bathroom) bartender “Arnold/arny” and one rude older reception lady (didn’t remember her name) but the rest of staff was friendly and made the place great for a few days!

We asked to put the bill on the room which was accepted by the staff.Then came the harassment. First a waitress runs after us to pay now with again a disfunctionning card machine. It was again accepted to put the bill on the room. Then a waiter calls us in our room (at 11pm) saying that we need to come downstairs to pay immediately. After that another waiter came knocking at our door with a card machine to pay for diner. (We consume for 100,000 pesos).When we told a manager about it, they offered a free taxi to our next hotel but in fact they offered the already free shuttle of the hotel and made us wait 30 min for it.When we finally had enough and told them that we will be leaving in our own terms, they offered the taxi.I don’t want to get into the slowness and poor service of everything from the check in to the check out. Music, people screaming, emergency alarms etc. We asked to change room since it’s impossible to sleep and the receptionist just told us that its not possible and we should just wait until 2:30am as this is the time the noise will stop. I asked at 11:30pm, just for the records. Thats why only 2 Stars.The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast ok - there could be more diversity. Staff friendly but below average in Columbia.

Safe box was very scary. Not digital but a rusty box that I had to get a key and a lock...which was provided. I was very uncomfortable in the beginning but I adjusted and felt very safe there. AC was excellent and breakfast was just ok. There were insects all over the fruit and toaster. Juices tasted like water.Pool and bar area is very outdated but acceptable.I had a decent experience but would not return. It is not geared towards American standards but you do get a major culture shock if you're into that.Location was very good and the beach is by the pool but felt unsafe going because the literally harassing you when going outside pool gate. I'm glad I went but very happy to be home. I would not return.If you lose your room key which is a blank white card you will pay money but they won't necessarily give you a new key! Crazy!

Ana Han: Stayed at this beautiful home from February 8-14, 2023. It was the perfect stay. Close to the colonial city that you could walk if you wanted to, but far enough from all the noise. The property is kept SUPER clean which is a priority for me. Anything you need Miguel and Xavier are there to help you. Marina and the cook (gosh wish i could remember her name) felt like family....really felt as if I were coming HOME everyday night after touring and then waking up to a delicious breakfast outside in the courtyard while listening to the birds......i remember feeling lucky I picked this place to stay. There is a little "tienda" or store on the block to buy beer or whatever. I sat in the front with friends some nights having a nigh cap and just watching people pass by....also, i treated myself to an arepa with huevo (yummy) sold next to the the store entrance one morning! This is the perfect place to stay if visiting alone or with family...i will be back as I miss it already:-)

Miguel estuvo muy atento con nosotros en todo momento!Puntos negativos:1.Hay una discoteca justo detrás del hotel y el sábado y el domingo a partir de las 17 de la tarde había mucho ruido.2.El desayuno rico, pero es un poco escaso. Uno de los días me quedé con mucha hambre y me pusieron un tazón de leche con cereales. Cual fue mi sorpresa cuando al hacer el check out me cobraron 15.000 pesos! Me pareció bastante feo y cutre.3.Esta un pelin lejos del centro histórico andando. Pero bueno, un Uber son 7000 pesos.

Lorena LM: Absolutely amazing hotel, a truly 5-star experience! Staff are incredible and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. From Jesus welcoming special guests to the mayordomos (thank you Rudy, Diego, Amaury and Armando!) and everyone else in the hotel. The facilities are stunning and full of history and the food is amazing in all restaurants. I highly recommend the restaurant 1621 for amazing fine dining! Can’t wait to go back one day!

Gianluca Mazzanti: Siamo stati al Santa Clara per la nostra luna di miele un totale di 5 giorni a metà giugno 2023. È stata un'esperienza divina: servizio impeccabile, cibo squisito (colazione DA SOGNO) e infrastruttura meravigliosa. Unica pecca la mancanza di chiarezza riguardo il sistema delle mance. In Colombia è usanza lasciare una mancia pari al 10% del totale del conto. Ma non ci hanno spiegato bene che al momento del check out, per ogni notte ci hanno addebitato (con un sistema di mance centralizzato) circa 40€ (!). Il problema è che la mancia comunque dovrebbe essere una cosa volontaria, ma al momento di firmare ogni conto, comunque ti viene chiesto quanto desideri lasciare come mancia... Quindi abbiamo dato mance a ogni pasto, cocktail ecc. e in più ci hanno addebitato quei 40€ per ogni giorno che hanno aumentato cospicuamente il saldo da pagare a fine soggiorno. Comunque sia consigliatissimo!!!!!

Karen McNeill: This place is worth every penny! The people are beautiful, welcoming, and most of all kind. The rooms are a little outdated, but for the most part you don’t spend a lot of time in your room. The hotel has everything you need and it’s conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. I highly recommend this place. They nailed “customer service”! I will return!
