Cesar Gomez: Excellent 👌
Jeremy: Great place to cool down and relax. Very quiet atmosphere.

To taste a good coffee, with good company, calm conversations, share experiences or read the passage of a book that you can get right there... different, rustic and beautiful!
Lizbeth Marruffo: Very attentive service, you can have a few drinks while you read. Cozy place with excellent service

Brittany Mitro: We stopped here based on an online review of Cartagena we saw and it was a perfect place for an afternoon rest. The coffee was great and the selection of books made for a fun browsing. They had tons of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, so if you are looking for that while you are in Cartagena (in English or Spanish), this is the place to go. If you are looking for some local literature from Colombia, or Spanish translations of some of your favorites, stop in here for a drink and a browse!
juan sebastian arteaga paz: Everything is amazing. Costume service it's so wonderful and you can find everything, all the time, clean, ordered and comfortable 😌😌😌

LUCY JEWELRY: what do users think?
Sabina: In love with my beautiful ring. Lucy store helped my partner whose Colombia choose a commitment ring as he likes to call it and even when I was looking I didn't have a clue that the store and my partner were already talking. Very cute and the ring is just stunning.Highly recommended great staff and my day was made special. Thank you. Cartagena and Lucy jewelry will always be a special moment I won't forget.
joséphine IBLED: The place looks great and professional. We bought a ring there. Turns out the stone was modified when we had it expertised by a professional in France. The 3K Ring was only worth 400euros if NEW. What a scam. (went for different feedbacks at different jewellers before you say anything). I don't recommend at all.
peter martinez: Went to at least 7 jewelry store Lucy had the best quality and best prices than other. They don’t pay commission to guides who steer you to other jewelry stores.many other stores had extremely inflated price. They also have unique one of a kind designs
Francine Chantal: Service impeccale, professionnels,Certificat d authenticité.
Emily Howard: I went in to purchase an emerald piece. I had a price range in mind, and the staff was so kind and patient as I tried to decide between earrings, a necklace, and a ring. They let me try each piece on and shared prices clearly as I walked around. They were not pushy at all, and I had a very positive experience. If you’re going to purchase here, know that silver pieces will be less expensive (a necklace with 0.3 karat emerald around 175 USD). Yellow gold is more, around 400 for similar necklace, or earrings, or rings a little more.
Paul Maleski: Definitively the best location to buy emeralds in Cartagena.
Amrita Patel: The kindest owners and most gorgeous jewels! Thank you 😊
Noel Kearney: I highly recommend this jewellers to anyone! Alexandria (apologies if that’s not spelt correctly) was absolutely excellent, happy to explain things to us, and just a genuinely nice person who cared about finding us the perfect piece of jewellery at the right price.
Brandy Trexler: There are a 1000 places to buy emeralds in Cartagena. But Lucy is the only place you won’t feel pressured. They will work with you to find something you love within your budget. They were super and got all the paperwork in order to file with DAIN for tax refund. My next visit I’ll be back to complete the set!
Viviana Sofia Escamilla Torres: The best jewelry store in Cartagena de Indias Colombia! Definitely a place to visit and buy the most amazing emeralds! Love it! Charming and excellent location. Highly recommended! Will come back next trip
James Danley: I’ve purchased jewelry from Lucy’s on 3 different occasions now and I must say that their reputation as Cartagena’s premium emerald jewelry store is completely accurate! Both Lucy & Alejandra are extremely knowledgeable and professional; they’ll help guide you to select the right gift for any occasion. They source the best stones in the world, design and hand craft all of their jewelry lines as well as provide you with credentials and certifications for every piece. This is the ONLY store in which you should purchase emeralds in Cartagena.
Mabel Garcia: Good attention
Irene Evans: The staff and quality of the product I have a lovely bracelet I purchased from them.
Maria Bonilla: Pretty
maxje jeyson geliz: A jewelry store that sells Colombian treasures

CHIQUI HOUSE BOUTIQUE: what do users think?
Alison Rooney: Stopped by recently as it was highly recommended. It is very over priced and there wasn’t any service there whatsoever. Hardly anyone was in the store and they staff seemed preoccupied. I bought two small items and they were overpriced for what they were. Suggest other spots in Cartagena.
Jean Ng: Great variety of home goods, decors, apparels to jewelleries from small to large in sizes. Besides Colombian design, they also features other ethnic items from other country like India and Indonesia to name a few. Everything is so beautiful and I only have so much space in my luggage.
Maria Helida Uribe: It is a beautiful place with beautiful handicrafts from our culture, colorful, versatile and charming. It is also an excellent place to have coffee ☕ with churros and ice cream they are delicious 👍🏼👍🏼

EVELIN MARAGARITA PACHECO SANCHEZ: Beautiful place, where you can find a variety of products and the most beautiful Colombian and world handicrafts. A place that cannot be missed in Cartagena.

Portal de Los Dulces: what do users think?
Alejandro Perez: Typical sweet sale in Cartagena in the inner part of the walled city near the Puerta del Reloj delicious sweets at a very good price. There are cocadas panelitas of all flavors and tastes
Luis Peña: I would like better advertising of the site, there are people who do not serve well and others who do not give information about the flavors of the sweets. The purchase that was made was good.
Lilibeth Mendoza: We never found it, the only thing we saw was about 3 stalls with sweets.
Nelson Perez: Typical sweet treats! Try Caballitos (Papaya sweet treat). A coconut 🥥 candy 🍬 costs 0.4 USD (Fall 2022). Süße Nachspeise! Lecker 😋
Andrew Van Hao: Check out the sweets of Cartagena here. - 2022.08.18
Gustavo Armijos: Very delicious sweets, you just have to bring enough money because you want to bring all varieties of sweets
Oscar Goenaga: Highly recommended for life...
Carolina Paez Casadiegos: great variety
Edwin Marin Martinez: good to buy sweets
Mauricio Alzate: One of the emblematic places of Cartagena, which, as its name indicates, is the place for the sale of typical sweets from Cartagena and the department of Bolívar. It consists of more than 20 individual and small stores, which are located on the ground floor or joint corridor of several buildings that frame one of the wings of Plaza de los Coches. There is a wide variety of sweets, an unmissable visit for locals and tourists. My favourites: sesame seeds, suspiros and cocadas...
C. Daniel Miranda Salgado: In the square of the cars, is the portal of sweets, you will find many typical sweets of the city.
David Mizrachi: Each business can have its special sweets. They are not all the same. Dulcería Alcázar has very good attention and its Sweets are highly recommended
Miguel Llorente Ayala: Great variety of national and traditional sweets from the different regions that make up the national territory of Colombia, this place is fabulous to please the palate to eat and take away

Eileen Bevern: Great cruise and destinations.
Loren Santos: Great experience, so informative and friendly staff
Francisco Valverde B.: Worth seeing. Jewelry with excellent prices.
Lucy Jorge: On my trip to Cartagena I went to the jewelry store and museum and I found it very interesting and I also bought a jewel with which I had a situation that they knew how to solve with a lot of professionalism. If I had the chance to go to Colombia I would go back again. Excellent service.
Manuel Alejandro Abreo Devars: I liked the jewelry.
Sean Moore: Very sad and terrible experience. I was followed into the bathroom and intimidated by some sobaka that works there. Been to over 65 countries across 7 continents and have never been treated as such. Terribly sad that in 2023 there are still people who have such poor mannerisms and education
Carlos Llera Novau: Curious exhibition-museum but it is a tourist visit, included in a City-Tour, which feels like an abuse of the tourist's time. Cheeky business approach.
Tom Hart: Visited in March. Took the jewelry making class, toured the museum and store. Our instructor, Ada, was so patient with us and we have handmade souvenirs to take home. (Plus my wife's purchase from the store) The owners even posed with my wife with her new necklace.
Mario Mazzei serrano: Excellent information on the subject of the emerald, its history, its exploitation and its use in jewelry.
Jaume Aleu Lorente: Little museum and many emerald shops, typical of the area. only for purchases
Travel City Tours: Excellent museum experience.

A religião é o homem buscando a Deus. Mari C: Impressive museum and I recommend it to everyone who wants to know more about the absurdities of the inquisition! I went with low expectations, but it was SO worth the visit.
Dr. Abby: I love museums. This one was unfortunately the worst maintained one I've visited. I worry about how long some of their artifacts will last. Some exhibits are described in Spanish and English, but most in Spanish only. Overall, I learned a lot about how slavery, the Inquisition, and the fight for independence impacted the area.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Jorge Arturo Soto Villamizar: Excelente.Visited on Weekend …More
carlos alamos: Pocas muestras originales.
Miguel Prieto: Very disappointed. First of all, you need to pay to come in and then there is not even a/c. Barely any items on exhibition, just some panels with stories that you can read on any website
Maibeth Mejia: The Palace of the Inquisition is a place that houses all the history that the first settlers of Cartagena lived through. The facilities are poorly cared for, they lack maintenance, the bathrooms are poorly cleaned. It was not a good experience.
Elias Razo: Several rooms were closed and the exhibitions were incomplete. It is an historical building so I think the government should invest more on restore it.
Rohit Gupta: Great serviceVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Arpana Sharma: Ok
Sophie Frank: No english translation, not really interesting

Les Lezards Bed & Breakfast: what do users think?
Walter Koch: einfach perfekt 👌Rooms: sehr sauber
Cara Beatty: This place is cool, but they have a deadbolt on the front door that can end up leaving you locked out!Long story: arrived and given key for front door (always locked) and our room. We were given the number of the owner if we needed anything, but there was no mention of a curfew or having to call the owner to get in late.We came back at 12:30am and our front door key didn't work because someone deadbolted the door. Because we weren't warned of this by the staff, I assume it was another guest who did this, but it was scary being trapped outside at 12:30am on a not busy street, unable to get a hold of anyone. We banged on the door knocker for 10 mins and finally someone let us in (they ran after unblocking the deadbolt so not sure if it was the owner or a guest). While we ended up being fine, the hotel should take better precautions to prevent this from leaving guests locked out in the dark without their stuff. Either remove the deadbolt or put a note for guests to never lock it. Or, if there is a curfew or you have to call the owner to get in, let us know?
Savvy G: The hotel is in disrepair and I strongly suspect I had my money stolen. Pros and cons listed below.Pros:1. Made-to-order breakfast was good, but the options were limited compared to another boutique hotel in Cartagena which I stayed.2. The staff, in general, were kind.3. The reception area had turtles and cats, which gave the hotel a homely feel.4. Quick communication with the staff.Cons:1. The hotel room was in poor condition. The room was dirty, underneath the bed looked like it hadn't been cleaned in forever, and the paint on the walls was peeling off in the room and bathroom. See my attached photos.2. Two roaches were found during my two-night stay. When I alerted the hotel to this issue, they only offered an apology saying that the roaches are because it’s an open concept hotel. In contrast, I stayed at another open-concept hotel in Cartagena a 3 min walk away (days before my stay at Les Lezards) and they didn’t have issues with bugs. Check my other reviews.4. The hallways and stairs were very narrow, uncomfortably so, and difficult to navigate. 5. The table by the entrance was very dusty and rusty.6. The door to my room was very difficult to lock, it took ten minutes to lock the door even with assistance from someone else at the hotel. As a solo female traveler, this was very dangerous and concerning. I alerted the hotel owner of this issue.7. I have a strong suspicion that money was stolen from my room during my stay. Please see below for details. After checking in, I asked the receptionist about beach tours. The receptionist informed me that they offered a tour but only accepted cash, which struck me as odd. I told the receptionist that I didn't have enough cash on hand, but that I would go to the money exchange for cash. Upon returning with the cash, I inquired with the receptionist about how I would receive a receipt for the tour. The receptionist stated that I would receive a WhatsApp message. The receptionist then showed me the tour information via WhatsApp. The WhatsApp message stated a cheaper price from what I was quoted by the receptionist. Confused, I told the receptionist that I would get back to him later about booking the tour as I had to get ready for a different tour that I had that evening. I left my money secured in my bag in my room when I left that evening. When I returned to my room later that night, the money was missing.I then asked the receptionist if anyone had entered my room. The receptionist told me that no one had entered. I asked if there was any security footage I could view. The receptionist showed me fragmented footage but the full footage was not shown to me.I reached out to the owner after my stay (via WhatsApp) about the poor condition of the room. The owner revealed without solicitation, that the receptionist had been in my room while I was gone to change the battery in the AC remote (which I had not asked for). Given the inconsistency of this story and the timeline of events, I strongly believe that my money was taken by someone at the hotel.I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from Les Lezards.
Kristin: Stay at this B&B was nice over the weekend. Perfectly tucked in the great neighborhood. Communication with the owner prior to arrival was exceptional. Driver patiently waited for hours while I waited in a very long/slow line at the airport. The staff was very kind and provided a detailed explanation on how things operate in the room. WIFI was incredibly fast. The breakfast was okay; the black coffee was phenomenally smooth. Fun chatting with some great guests traveling as well! Definitely recommend if you’re wanting a quaint, cute stay — perfectly located in Getsemani and within walking distance to the center. Expect noises and bugs that come in local homes especially if you’re a light sleeper…

Noelle Frost: An OK but somewhat disappointing stay here. We stayed in the La Mer room. The room and beds were smaller than we thought they would be. The bathroom was open air, which would have been fine, but it seemed like other showers looked onto our shower which made us feel uncomfortable. There was also a tree with fruit high above the shower and at one point some of the fruit fell down so we were worried about getting hit while showering. Breakfast and all the staff we met were very nice and we enjoyed the small plunge pool. Although we had informed the employees twice we’d be leaving at 7am for the airport on our last day, we weren’t told a check out process which caused some issues that morning.
Bernie Alvarez: Please don’t book this hotel, it is absolutely and strictly only reserved for me for the remainder of my life! Aha I’m kidding but this Hotel hands down has to be the best within the entire Cartagena area in my upmost opinion.First let me get straight to the point, the staff here are amazing and very attentive and are driven to make your entire visit comfortable. I’ve literally tried every services provided such as laundry, massage, and a deal to try Bora Bora through them which was incredible. I felt nervous to walk around by myself but Roman gave me the boost to do it anyway and I did and I thank him for that. The chef in the kitchen I give her my compliments but I also apologize for turning her breakfast into a NYC Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. Also Andrea for fixing up my room every day, I highly appreciate that. The masseuse they provided literally fix the broke that was in my back after a speed boat ride, definitely never experienced a massage like that even after she wanted me to roar like a monster when exhaling. I give many props to Marcus for hiring an amazing staff and I appreciate him for keeping in contact and responding efficiently and providing advice and adventures.I was able to try two different rooms because I extended an extra day last minute but my room was already booked. Both rooms are amazing and highly recommend any room here. They’re all unique in their own way.If you plan to stay here please say hello to the two turtles that walk around and their cat that’s very laid back.
Nick Wilson: We stayed here recently and enjoyed it. The staff here are all extremely friendly and helpful, especially Roman who helped check us in and showed us a couple spots to grab a bite when we first arrived.Worth noting this is a very boutique b&b on the smaller side but exactly how we wanted to experience Cartagena. It is located right in the heart of Getsamani. Breakfast was amazing, smoothies especially. We stayed in the Mexico room which had an open air shower which was cool. The room was very clean and housekeeping came everyday not that we really needed it. They also picked us up from the airport which was a nice touch. We had no issues walking home to Les Lezard from all over Cartagena not that we were out late but the city is small it's very walkable. They have TV's with Netflix, books, very fast internet etc as well for rainy days. I was able to hold zoom meetings with out lag or issues in that regard. There is a local plant cat that lives in one of the many beautiful plants and cactuses decorating the halls. They were very accommodating with our late checkout. We love Cartagena and will definitely come back to visit les lezards.
Hermy San Rafael: Small hotel in the middle of the old town. Friendly owners and staff. No parking, you don't need a car anyway.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Romantic …More

I highly recommend staying here!Roman and Frank welcomed us with open arms and were very helpful throughout our stay, giving us great recommendations that enhanced our visit to Cartagena.Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed briefly interacting with other guests as we were petting the turtles on the property. Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena: what do users think?
Sebastian Leon: Exceptional service, location, pool, spa, food, drinks, and energy. Best of all is the kindness, generosity, professionalism, warmth, and tirelessness of the *entire* staff. There are service charges that are a critical ingredient in making this experience possible, but please be as generous with gratuities as you can. The team that works at Sofitel Santa Clara is presidential. 3000% on point. And there are friendly ghosts. Not everyone can experience them but they’re there and it’s a good thing.Noteworthy details: Magical and positively haunted hotel.

Lorena LM: Absolutely amazing hotel, a truly 5-star experience! Staff are incredible and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. From Jesus welcoming special guests to the mayordomos (thank you Rudy, Diego, Amaury and Armando!) and everyone else in the hotel. The facilities are stunning and full of history and the food is amazing in all restaurants. I highly recommend the restaurant 1621 for amazing fine dining! Can’t wait to go back one day!
Gianluca Mazzanti: We stayed at the Santa Clara for our honeymoon a total of 5 days in mid-June 2023. It was a divine experience: impeccable service, exquisite food (DREAM breakfast) and wonderful infrastructure. The only flaw is the lack of clarity regarding the tipping system. In Colombia it is customary to leave a tip equal to 10% of the total bill. But they didn't explain well that at the time of check out, for each night they charged us (with a centralized tip system) about 40€ (!). The problem is that tipping should still be voluntary, but at the time of signing each bill, however you are asked how much you wish to leave as a tip... So we tipped at every meal, cocktail etc. and in addition they charged us €40 for each day which significantly increased the balance to be paid at the end of the stay. Anyway, highly recommended!!!!!
Karen McNeill: This place is worth every penny! The people are beautiful, welcoming, and most of all kind. The rooms are a little outdated, but for the most part you don’t spend a lot of time in your room. The hotel has everything you need and it’s conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. I highly recommend this place. They nailed “customer service”! I will return!
Luchy Cuentas May: Simply, the best place at all times... I highlight the warmth and simplicity of its collaborators...Food & drinks: Las habitaciones, sus áreas, su gastronomía, en fin todo es excelente. Es un lugar muy completo.
Gustavo Enrique Soto: Excellent menu served by high-level professionals

Gelateria Paradiso: what do users think?
Marlin Caballero pimiento: Unique flavors, extremely delicious specials, super recommended Yerbabuena with chocolate and coconut water, from another world.
Valentina Daza: Very expensive to sell simple ice creams and without much grace
Cristina I. Carbo: My favorite ice cream parlor without a doubt! They have unique flavors that they make directly from the fruit!! and this season they have the mamon flavor that I love!! I went to your new point of sale a few days ago, spectacular!
Postres y Delicias del Orejón Dapa: Good cream and palettes..
Steph M. Avila.: Excellent place to cool off
Stefanni Daniel Thobinson: Very expensive, but very delicious.Excellent quality products to entertain tourists and residents with the ability to pay. Small but fast moving place.
Rafael Lopez: My son loved the place, of course we will visit it again
carl gregory: The ice cream was quite tasty and they had a variety of flavors.
Luiza margarida Bento: Adorei o local, ótimo atendimento. Excelentes produtos
Diana Lopez: ice creams are delicious
Lucas Lee: Good 👍👍 Y14,500 (2 scoops)
Alexandr Volchonok: Super nice place.Ice cream is the best in the world
Margaret Blanton: We came here several times during our stay in Cartagena. My daughters loved it. It's decorated really cute and the gelato is superb. I usually had coffee, which was also delicious. We will definitely go back.
SANDY RAFAEL MATIAS PEREZ: Excellent
Miguel Espinosa: A nice place, the decoration is nice, a quiet and clean ice cream parlor. But the flavors are very common, little variety, somewhat simple, only water-based ice creams. some have an additional cost, prices start at 6,000 pesos. The value for money is not very good. There are better options in the area. Very simple attention.
Jhon Sanabria: Well located, quiet, the mango ice cream is delicious !!
Juan C. Solano: Milo's ice cream with coffee is delicious at a somewhat high price. Then I tried the dark chocolate one and I would have liked to have it combined with coffee 🤤
