Jessica Rendón: Magical place, it is beautiful, it is very pretty, the route is linear. I think that to enjoy the tour it is valuable to hire a person to tell us about each of the specimens that we can find there and that by the way there are many, a place to take wonderful photos, however if you do not have a guide the place is very good signposted and with cards referring to each species that can be seen there, there is a bird show that is something very nice, when entering it is necessary to ask for the schedule of this, because it is something fundamental and very nice to observe how each one participates of the specimens in this, there are a lot of mosquitoes, so it is necessary to bring repellent, they suggest that it not be sprayed, they report that these affect birds, bring hydration and a towel for sweat, because the heat is considerable. Worth a visit.

Nathan Carrell: A must do if you are in Cartagena on vacation. Doesn't take long to walk through. More species of birds than any zoo you've ever visited and some you have never seen before.
Alexandra Marin: Beautiful birds, varieties I have never seen before. It makes me a little sad to see her in cages with reduced space. They could expand more having the space for it. The tour takes an hour and a half at a slow pace and detailing each space.

Danny K: This is a tough one for me. The hotel seems like a nice little boutique hotel, however, we visited for a Sunday brunch. Apparently, the best feature is the rooftop, and unfortunately, brunch was inside due to some rain. Small and cozy restaurant space, however, the music was WAY too loud! Service started off great, but went downhill quite quickly. The brunch is done in a tapas style, which is quite unique and was enjoyable. Food was very good, however, it took quite some time to come out. Overall, I’d definitely go again, but only if the rooftop is open. There’s no way I could sit through a meal again with the volume they played the music. Hopefully service improves for the next time too.

Gabrielle Marie: While I did not stay at Townhouse, my husband and I enjoyed their rooftop bar one evening when we were in Cartagena. This was one of our favorite places for cocktails and nachos! Everything is very well priced, the atmosphere is super trendy, and the nachos are probably some of the best I have ever had. The rooftop over looks the city, so do yourself a favor by ordering a drink and some apps while watching the sunset. It is absolutely breathtaking.

erika samaniego: The rooms are beautiful. The pool looks so much bigger in the photos, in reality it was small and one family with kids can take all the space of it. However they have a lot of space to sit and sip some drinks at the rooftop. The staff was kind and helpful. We arrived very early and left late in the afternoon and were allowed to remain in the public areas of the hotel and they held our bags while we explored some more of the city.Rooms: Big and cozy, nice view from balcony and great showers.Nearby activities: So many good restaurants and bars within walking distance. C Woods: Stayed here for 7 days. Rooms are big and comfy. Tile floors so bring your slippers. Bathrooms are nice size. Showers are great. They have nice products in the bathroom. They offer a nicebuffet breakfast in the restaurant but you can also get made to order breakfast. Lobby is nice to kick it and chill but depending on when you go, you might become a buffet for mosquitoes. There is a room next to the outdoor lobby area and it's comfy and a great place to hang out. The rooftop pool is amazing and the views from up there are phenomenal. Pool area is the perfect place to hang out and drink. Internet connection could be spotty at times but wasn't too bad. Front desk was very attentive to any of our needs. Staff was extremely accommodating. Nice hotel to stay at inside the Walled City.

ANJLI SHAH: My husband and I stayed at Bastion for 4 nights. It is definitely not a “luxury” hotel for following reasons- as soon as we were allocated a room we realised the air conditioning unit was not working. The workmen did come and sort this out.We then realised our sink was getting clogged up and the water was not draining. This caused a sewage smell in the bathroom. We did let the manager know about this and he assured us it would be dealt with whilst we were sight seeing. Nothing seemed to be sorted. After 2 nights of sleeping in this room and finally making a fuss at reception they did change our room as they said the sink problem could not be sorted. However the second room we were allocated had a broken toilet roll holder, broken tiles on the bathroom floor, the shower wasn't draining quick enough hence was overflowing, the room telephone wasn't working. We did complain to the manager but he didn't seem to be too bothered. The room was definitely not fit to be allocated to a guest.- Breakfast was mediocre for a 'luxury' hotel! There were insects (fruit flies) all over the fresh fruit and the staff didn't seem to be bothered by it.The hotel is in a good location, slightly away from all the hustle and bustle but yet close enough. However I would recommend other hotels in the vicinity which are probably cheaper but have better service and rooms.

The hotel is not ostentatious luxury, very nice to relax in a quiet environment. The staff is very polite and oriented to make things easier. The truth is that it is a characteristic of Cartagena, everyone is very helpful and cheerful.Rooms: Elegantes y amplias, con vista hacia el patio interior muy bonito.Nearby activities: Muy céntrico, se sale a la calle y ya estás en un lugar histórico, solo hay que caminar para disfrutar de la ciudad.Food & drinks: El restaurante del hotel es supremo, la comida es exquisita, una noche me acerque a la barra del restaurante y me puse a hablar con uno de los cocineros, me sirvió un trago y conversamos, después de un rato me dice que el es el chef, yo que soy despistado me entero que mi nuevo amigo es uno de los hermanos Rausch dueños del restaurante y famosos en Gourmet Chanel.
Mo Gourrier: We had a great room next to the courtyard! The pool upstairs was wonderful with a bar and plenty of seating. The gentleman serving us by the pool was very friendly as well! The food and drinks were amazing.
