Café del Mar Ltda.: what do users think?
Ronald Opazo Cerpa: Very good service, but if you want to have a coffee ☕ there is no :(
Hector R: It is incredible to spend the afternoon. The besides are rich and the food I recommend
Diana Carolina Suarez Ruiz: A spectacular place with an incredible view, it is recommended to arrive before sunset so as not to miss that spectacle. The food and the delicious cocktails, the only thing they have to improve is the attention since it takes a long time, but it is understandable given the number of people who visit the place.
jhon jairo zapata machado: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Betty Rincon: Atmosphere: 5/5More
Aurimar Duran: Lousy lousy lousy attention! The worst service I received in Cartagena, it hurts that a place with such a beautiful view has such attention. We asked for a song to sing birthdays and they didn't allow it because they only listen to electronic music, we were a group of more than 15 adult people to celebrate the birthday of a 60-year-old person. The hostess did not want to allow us to enter because they already wanted to close the premises and their closing time was in 3 hours!I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!It goes without saying that I would never return to this place...I would like to add that I do not recommend any dish, much less the beer that was super hot!
Andrea Paulina Márquez Escalante: The attention and service is TERRIBLE! I hope the owner reads this and realizes what they are doing with their beautiful business. They did not want to accept us at 11 because they were already picking up and the hours are until 2am. We were a group of 20 people. When we were leaving they applauded us because they wanted to leave. Awful. 0 points on everything.
Aquiles Rodríguez: A beautiful space but its extremely rude workers, not only do they not want to attend to you but they show it to you, surely the owner has no idea how badly they serve. The most expensive beer in Cartagena and hot! Unfortunately I do not recommend it and I will never return
Rony Campuzano: Excellent place to watch the sunset

Stephane Mongrain: Cafe del mar is very romantic. A dinner, a drink on the wall and a sunset. The food is excellent. The service is good, but there are so many people that it suffers.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
claudio brena da rosa: Place with a beautiful view, good music, good food, prices compatible with the place.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lady Bello: The reason why I’m putting 5 stars is because the food is sooo delicious yum yum and where the restaurant is located the is amazing. The bad part is the communication in that restaurant. If you go on google maps search up the restaurant and try to call that restaurant the number bad it doesn’t go through. I tried sooo many times I had to go to another restaurant and ask for help. That restaurant needs to adjust the number as to why they haven’t is a mystery. Once I was able to successfully make the reservations a few hours later I called to make sure my reservations was ok and then I called again the second day just make sure, call me crazy I just like to make sure everything was okay. As soon as I got there they didn’t see my reservations 🤯!!! I had to get loud and rude to the put that they called in the manager and I told the manager this is a mess on how you handle the reservations. Yeah you can also do the reservations online but I believe in doing things myself and or in person. The manager let me in because I gave him all proof that I tried calling to make a reservation and everything. We sat the table that we picked. WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR for our server to come to us. Another serve saw us tried to help and she noticed that our actual serve never came up to us. She decided to help I was soo angry on how the manager miss manages his personal. The server who help us was soo sweet to us. I left her a tip and she said that there’s a new law in Colombia that because the restaurants are paying the servers well the customers aren’t allowed to tip us. I believe alll restaurantes should follow this example.
Paul Torres2: Food: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Shrimp Ceviche and a MojitoMore
thalia vargas: Deliciosa la comida, aunque poca variedad en el menú y los platos siempre llegan fríos, pero como se demoran tanto con cada entrega es preferible dejar así, el servicio es bueno pero muy lento. sergio sayas: The place is expensive and they don't sell very good things, it's more than all name. Just fall in love with the view and that's it
Eduardo Garcia: Well I was expecting more but, this place is just location. The location is really nice, it feels perfect, but the food and the drinks were ahh ok. The cocktails are strong really really strong maybe good for some people but they taste like shoots not like cocktails. We order an octopus the octopus was ok but the potetos were no cook. Also one of the cocktails taste like reallly bad we did not know if it was the piratas del caribe or de one from the house the server did not know which one was. Overall just one time experience.

Cartagena Connections: what do users think?
Katie Fisken: Cartagena Connections is such a fantastic way to see the city and experience the local culture. Kristy is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of the local community and that shines through on her tours! I attended the street food tour and I cannot recommend it enough! If you're wanting to dabble in street food and learn the local ways then this is the tour for you! More broadly Cartagena Connections is the one stop shop for info on all of the best spots in town!
Kristi Vanskiver (Whisky Wanderlust): Kristy was an amazing guide and extremely helpful when trying to accomodate our vegan friend on the street food tour. There is really limited options for a vegan but she really made us all feel welcome and included. She is a wealth of knowledge on history and culture of Cartagena and makes the information fun and engaging. I really couldn't recommend the tour more. It's way more than just a food tour!
Matt Gould: Went on a street food walking tour and I cannot stress enough how amazing it was! A brilliant way to see the city, learn about its history and culture, AND eat amazing food. Kristy's energy is infectious...the food is delicious...and the city is beautiful. What's not to like?!
Sandy Kidd: Wonderful tour ! I did the street food tour, we tried plenty of stuff and also learned a a bit more about Cartagena's story. Highly recommend it !
Samantha Foster: We had booked a private street food tour in cartegena. Henry was amazing. He took us to multiple food carts and had us try the most amazing food, all while giving us great history of the city and different neighborhoods. It was the best part of our stay in Cartegena. Highly recommend this company!!
Hinga: If you are a person visiting Cartagena for the first time, Cartagena Connections is a must. Tour guide Daniel was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and he makes you feel at home. I would definitely recommend CC. If you want that local Dominican experience ask for Daniel.
Rose Zu: We took the street food walking tour, and we highly enjoyed it! The tour guide was friendly and accommodating (I had forgotten to mention my mango allergy at registration like I was supposed to). We were introduced to the local favorite stalls and spots that we never would have found on our own. Delicious tour, and we got to take some great photos of the colorful neighborhoods. Highly recommend the tour and this agency!
Valentina Calabrese: You arrive in Cartagena and book a tour hoping to know something about the city and its history. then you meet daniel and you not only know the story, but you feel the energy of the people, you experience the community firsthand and for this we thank him very much. he passed on his passion and love for cartagena to us! we highly recommend it!
Justin Friedrich: We booked two tours with CC and had fantastic experiences at each one. Planning our tours was hassle free and communication through WhatsApp was quick.Daniel showed us around the Bazurto Market, he shared history while showing us the market, sampling local fruit, snacks, and some hidden gems. We finished with lunch, which was some of the most delicious food we had during our trip to Colombia. We also booked a private boat tour of the Rosario Islands, where Ana helped coordinate our day and itinerary. She made everything so easy and since our group speaks very limited Spanish, she was well appreciated through out the day.Everything worked out so well, the guides were excellent, these two tours exceeded our expectations and were the most fun activities during our trip to Colombia!
Hollie Evans: What a cool experience! If you're lucky, Dan will be your guide. A super cool local with great vibes. He will take you to spots that you would otherwise walk right past and not notice. He will take you to try 2 types of arepas, empenadas, deditos and much more, beer included! Not only will you taste great food, Dan also tells you about the people, music, art, dance and history of cartegena l. honestly one of the best food tours we have been on, thanks so much Dan!
Greg Isaacs: We enjoyed an excellent street food with Daniel who is a rockstar! We learned about the history of Cartagena, tried 5-6 foods from street food vendors and toured several incredible neighborhoods. Would highly recommend. Thank you, Daniel.
John Smith-Ricco: Highly recommend the street food tour. Dan was an excellent guide for our private group of nine. Good mix of food, tour, history lessons. Also gave us a chance to see and explore some less “touristy” parts of the Old Town and Getsemaní
Anna Christine Brennan: We really enjoyed this food tour - plenty of food, although not as much as others I have done - you will still need dinner afterwards. We really enjoyed ourselves and Dan was great.
Luis Gracia: Great way to get to know the lesser traveled parts of Cartagena and especially AUTHENTIC food. I 100% recommend this tour, especially with Dan, his local energy and swagger are unmatched!
Larisa Tyshkevich: Sent an enquiry from the website about a transportation option to the Aviary. This option is clearly detailed on their website. The response I got via email was about the tour including beach time, lunch etc. I replied saying that I was not interested in the tour. They said fine they would look if the transport was available. Never got back to me. Update your website if not offering the service and don't waste people's time.
Elizabeth Grewe: Had the best experiences with Cartagena Connections! They set us up with a coffee tasting at Cafe Del Mural that completely changed how we thought about coffee. Unforgettable, delicious, very educational. Then we did a market tour with Dan, he was so friendly and knew the maze of the alleys and stalls well. Definitely go with a guide. Dan had great vibes and helped us buy produce. He made sure we got to try local juice and fruit and surprised us with a souvenir at the end, a customized poster from a local artist. Communication with March at CC before, during and after the experiences was friendly, responsive and helpful. Recommend working with them for all sightseeing and touristic needs!
Joyell Arvella: Terrible customer service. I received a response to my interest in the horse riding experience and never heard from anyone after that. I sent multiple emails confirming the experience I wanted, asked if it was still available and never heard back from anyone. Do not waste your time with this company. There are better ones in Cartagena.
J. C. M: We did the street food tour with Kristy, which was more of a street food + walking + history tour all rolled into one. Kristy was super knowledgeable about Colombian culture, the murals, the off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods, and everything in between. Highly recommend!!!
Katie S: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueCartagena Connections made my experience traveling to Cartagena solo amazing !Kristy is very responsive, informative , and ensures everything runs smooth!
Meredith Was: We spent two half-days with Kristy exploring Cartagena, and the experience was 10/10 excellent! We loved her tours because it feels more like a friend/local is showing you around the city, with insider info and local experiences, rather than a canned "follow the umbrella" tour. She knows all about the history of Cartagena and shares thoughtful insight, as well as conveying her love for what makes Cartagena so special! I'd absolutely recommend Cartagena Connections to anyone visiting this city!
Michael Müller: We had the steet food tour with Kristy and we were absolutely amazed by it.Kristy, living since years in Cartagena, does not only know all the best places to get street food, she also knows a ton of stories about the city itself, the different cultures, the current situation and how the people make their living, about murals, and and and...So this tour is not really about "the city was found in xy bla bla" but about the little details and also about how things and city spots are connected to the history and the people. The food itself was delicious and more than plenty. I did not count but we had like ten snacks, fruits and drinks. But warning: You need to be into fried stuff and cheese but when you are you will love this experience.

Palace of the Inquisition Cartagena Historical Museum: what do users think?
Janin Mei: The museum is very beautiful and informative. I went with a friend who doesn't speak Spanish and for her it was very boring because almost nothing is translated into English. Also, it doesn't take long to explore it- if you speak Spanish I recommend it.
Juan Diego Molina Montoya: The place preserves the nostalgia that only the passage of time can give to a place with so many years reflected on its walls.
Fáber Alexánder Gallego Obando: Nothing to do with the space that was one day. There is no guide service, closed rooms. It doesn't justify paying for what little it offers.

Hugo Amigo: Know part of history! Religion is the man looking for God. Christianity is the story of a Deus of love that seeks to repay the home. Mari C: Museu impactante e recomendo pra todos que queiram saber mais sobre os absurdos da inquisição! Eu fui com expectativas baixas, mas valeu MUITO a visita.
Stephanie P. G.: I went on a Sunday in June/2023, the adult ticket is $23,000, there are three floors and it does not have an elevator, so it is an issue to take into account if your health does not allow you to climb stairs. The building has been restored and is beautiful, on the first floor are the exhibitions on the inquisition and human rights, a cool audiovisual recreating what it was like to blame and "prosecute" someone. On the second and third floors, it is related to the history of Cartagena. I like that the people from the museum are betting on showing Cartagena's Afro heritage as well. Recommended, if you have the chance to go, I recommend it.Of course, it would be nice if they could have guides to better complement the tour and tell some tourists that they should not step on or lie down... It would also be cool to have something more interactive with screens showing audiovisuals with oral history, with other people to give their perspectives and reconstruction of certain facts that are usually left out by the political / historical interests of the people.

Maibeth Mejia: The Palace of the Inquisition is a place that houses all the history that the first settlers of Cartagena lived through. The facilities are poorly cared for, they lack maintenance, the bathrooms are poorly cleaned. It was not a good experience.

Bastión Luxury Hotel: what do users think?
erika samaniego: The rooms are beautiful. The pool looks so much bigger in the photos, in reality it was small and one family with kids can take all the space of it. However they have a lot of space to sit and sip some drinks at the rooftop. The staff was kind and helpful. We arrived very early and left late in the afternoon and were allowed to remain in the public areas of the hotel and they held our bags while we explored some more of the city.Rooms: Big and cozy, nice view from balcony and great showers.Nearby activities: So many good restaurants and bars within walking distance. They offer a nicebuffet breakfast in the restaurant but you can also get made to order breakfast. Lobby is nice to kick it and chill but depending on when you go, you might become a buffet for mosquitoes. There is a room next to the outdoor lobby area and it's comfy and a great place to hang out. The rooftop pool is amazing and the views from up there are phenomenal. Pool area is the perfect place to hang out and drink. Internet connection could be spotty at times but wasn't too bad. Front desk was very attentive to any of our needs. Staff was extremely accommodating. Nice hotel to stay at inside the Walled City.
Erica Chew: We spent 5 spectacular days there. The pool was great and the sunset views were stunning. Jorge gave great recommendations of things to do in town. Jordan helped find us reservations and hooked us up with a great walking tour with a local, Aura. Highly recommended. Only thing that I didn't like is they wouldn't heat up my leftovers. I had it in the fridge and was so excited to eat it the next morning but couldn't.Walkability: Great location. Everything in the old town was about 15 min walk max.

ANJLI SHAH: My husband and I stayed at Bastion for 4 nights. It is definitely not a “luxury” hotel for following reasons- as soon as we were allocated a room we realised the air conditioning unit was not working. The workmen did come and sort this out.We then realised our sink was getting clogged up and the water was not draining. This caused a sewage smell in the bathroom. We did let the manager know about this and he assured us it would be dealt with whilst we were sight seeing. Nothing seemed to be sorted. After 2 nights of sleeping in this room and finally making a fuss at reception they did change our room as they said the sink problem could not be sorted. However the second room we were allocated had a broken toilet roll holder, broken tiles on the bathroom floor, the shower wasn't draining quick enough hence was overflowing, the room telephone wasn't working. We did complain to the manager but he didn't seem to be too bothered. The room was definitely not fit to be allocated to a guest.- Breakfast was mediocre for a 'luxury' hotel! There were insects (fruit flies) all over the fresh fruit and the staff didn't seem to be bothered by it.The hotel is in a good location, slightly away from all the hustle and bustle but yet close enough. However I would recommend other hotels in the vicinity which are probably cheaper but have better service and rooms.
Maria Hernandez: 10/10 I would definitely come back and enjoy it again. From the decor to the service every details is thought to make it specialFood & drinks: The ceviche is amazing
Laura Patricia Támara Muñoz: Excellent service and attention. We marriedIn the Santo Toribio church, and arrive walking to the church. Very convenient they decorated the room on the wedding night and they were very special
René Francisco Torres Jugo: The hotel is excellent to spend a few days and get to know Cartagena from the walled city. It is very well located. The hotel is not ostentatious luxury, very nice to relax in a quiet environment. The staff is very polite and oriented to make things easier. The truth is that it is a characteristic of Cartagena, everyone is very helpful and cheerful.
Mo Gourrier: We had a great room next to the courtyard! The pool upstairs was wonderful with a bar and plenty of seating. The gentleman serving us by the pool was very friendly as well! The food and drinks were amazing.

ANANDA BOUTIQUE HOTEL: what do users think?
Cookie Maldonado-McQ: We have had a wonderful time at this boutique hotel. From the minute we checked in we felt at home and safe! I read reviews in past and have had no issues what so ever . Sergio on operations was amazing as well as all the lovely ladies at breakfast and the bar area. Rooms cleaned in a timely manner. 2 things to remember, bring bug spray if you are prone to getting bitten and sewer system can be delicate and so tissue is recommended to be placed in trash can which took some getting used to. I would stay again. Breakfast included is lots of variety and great juices!
Jessyca Bustamante Londoño: I was there last year in December on a day at the SPA with my husband. I have no complaints about the massage, but I do have a lot to say about the care and poor communication and misinformation that exists between workers. That day we chose several things from the menu and then they charged us a different value because the menu no longer had those prices but they had not changed it on the website, the solution was to give us two lemonades which we did not even drink because we were super full.Last week I wrote to schedule a massage for a gift and they shared a letter with some prices on Instagram, to schedule they asked me for the information since they had to communicate with me from reception, when they wrote to me from reception, they sent me a totally different letter , the prices with a variation of 40,000 pesos, I told them that this was not the letter sent at the beginning and they simply said that this was the price, period. Not even to assume his mistake and give a courtesy drink so as not to lose the client.I'm sure the administrator or manager is not aware of this situation, because I don't think they would allow something like this to happen.
Gini Standard-Sheader: This place definitely isn’t a 5 star hotel. It’s probably a 3 star property. The staff were nice and our room was ok but it had a weird damp smell to it and the bathroom was tired and felt dirty. We also got woken up at 4:30am by a very drunk guy blasting music for 2 hours.
Parviz Tehranfar: In general hotel was good, but they charged us 177,000 Peso extra and when we asked about it, the staff told us that it is tax. We paid the extra amount but one of our friend in group knows Spanish and discuss with them and they confirm it is not tax and it was insurance of our luggage which is optional and they added to our bill without our permission. As soon as we complained they returned $126400 Peso. I believe they are cheating in this way and get more money from the guests. Please check your bills and do not trust them at all.Rooms: It is very old building and i noticed a couple spots with mold in our room and cracks on walls

Mateo Gomez: DO NOT STAY HERE ! Save yourself the frustration, time , and rudeness.Attention Diego M general manager I hope this review finds you . I would love to give your hotel a higher rating. If it wasn’t for such rude front desk staff, I would give your Hotel four out of five however We had such horrible experience checking in and it was all due to Jorge the front desk attendant and self proclaimed manager . So you get only 1 star. Jorge was so rude and not accommodating that it Made the entire stay a huge regret . I will explain the situation, we (my dad mom , gf and myself ) are visiting Cartagena for Easter , we are US citizens, we have lived in United States for over 35 years. We also happen to have dual citizenship in Columbia. Upon checking in Jorge explained that we would have to be charged as Colombian residents which means an additional tax would be added to the bill. We explained to him. We are not residents of Colombia, We live in the United States and we provided him our American passports and more to make our case. he was persistent in saying there’s nothing he could do and we will have to be charged extra tax. This is not true , he could’ve take used OUR US passports but he chose to be unhelpful and rude during the whole exchange. Additionally, We were traveling with my girlfriend who is a US born citizen. We requested/ stated she would be paying the bill and reservation to be under her name. Jorge refused to put the reservation under her name and he professed hotel /he could not waive the Colombian resident tax because there’s four of us and we have two rooms so it can’t be one reservation .. huh that doesn’t make sense at all ..right ? . We said if she is paying with her credit card for both rooms and she is a US resident and citizen , we don’t understand the complication with our request and why he can’t help. Jorge why did you choose to not accommodate us ? What do you have against colombian ex-patriots ???Jorge got his general manager on the phone, and we asked to speak to Diego the GM but Jorge ignored us and finished the call with out Putting us in touch with GM.At this point we already felt like we were treated rudely and didn’t even want to stay in the hotel but had little options sitting at check in with our bags. We told Jorge. if the hotel cannot honor and recognize that the tariff should not be charged because we have a US citizen who will be paying the bill then we will search for another hotel. Jorge essentially said, good luck, and did not waver whatsoever. We find this to be horrible customer service, he was rude throughout the whole process, and he said he is the top authority on the matter . He then called his boss, and while he was on the phone with his boss, we asked to speak to him, he ignored us, and did not give us the opportunity to speak to a Diego the GM. Upon reading past google reviews, we find that Jorge was rude to other customers as well to no surprise, please check the google reviews for months back from this review from somebody else that had a bad experience and names Jorge as the antagonist. We will never stay in this hotel again and it is because of Jorge. We will let everyone we know about a bad experience, and we will be posting reviews on every forum possible from Yelp to Google to Tripadvisor. .Solution, we stayed one night and checked into the hotel two blocks down.. and guess what , they didn’t charge the Colombian resident tax as we are not Colombian residents. Further more the one night we did stay , we could hear the entire hotel walls are so poorly insulated you could hear people talking . The tub had a leak fromBottom and flooded bathroom , thank god I didn’t trip and break my neck .Again Save yourself from rude staff and pick another place .Noteworthy details: Absolutely horrible front desk staff Jorge . He was rudeness hotel employee I’ve ever encountered and I travelled for work for four years staying at 3-4 hotels per month . DO NOT stay here .
Danielle Erdman: Title NO HOT water and horrible front desk staff . Abominable experience checking in.Recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit Colombia with my boyfriend and his family . I’ve had an incredible trip so far up up until the arrival at the Ananda hotel. Upon check in , The front desk manager Jorge was so rude to my boyfriends mother and myself , I absolutely couldn’t believe it. I don’t post reviews very often, but the experience was so horrible that I feel the need to warn other travelers and save them from booking this hotel. The hotel front desk manager if you can even call him that understands and speaks perfect English but when I asked to speak to his manager Diego that he was on the phone with he completely ignored me and ended his call abruptly with him. We ended up turning a thee night reservation into one night and booked a hotel few blocks away. Thank god because when I took a shower this morning, I come to find that not only is the hotel staff extremely rude, but the hotel does not have any hot water. No hot water in the bathtub and no hot water in the shower. Last night the only night that we stayed here my boyfriend attempted to take a bath and out from underneath the bath water was pouring out and essentially flooded the entire bathroom floor. and he couldn’t even take his bath because the water was cold this morning when I showered, I couldn’t even stay in the water for more than four minutes because it’s not lukewarm it’s not kind of cold. It was very cold. Almost as cold as Jorge’s heart was when we were checking in. Upon reading reviews on Google I found that Jorge has been a problem for other guests as well. The only positive experience we’ve had so far at this hotel was the breakfast service and food was good. But the bathroom experience was quite horrendous and as I previously mentioned, the check in procedure was extremely dissatisfied. As I mentioned above, I am not the reviewer, but I feel it is my duty to contribute to the community and help the hotel owners, as well as other future potential guests know about the shortcomings of this property and staff.Noteworthy details: $600 per night and no hot water and rude staff . Save yourself the bad experience and stay somewhere else . Jorge was the WORST
Feminista Jones: Great hotel with delightful staff. Breakfast is delicious and included.
vamsi miriyala: Caring staff, charming and historical adobe, great rooftop lounge/pool area, central location, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms. Will be back again!
Peter Vermeulen: Mediocre place - rooms are super loud - staff doesn’t speak English - breakfast options are limited - no shade spots at the swimming pool. Our room was not cleaned (we had to ask twice).
Safety: keine Sicherheit !!! s.o.
Alexander Tarrant: We booked a superior room for two nights. We were immediately unhappy with the room - the noise from outside the room was loud, there was no hot water, the toilet didn't flush and there was no natural light. We asked for another room and were told there weren't any available on the first night, but there would be on the second. So we never unpacked. The noise continued until late at night (12am) and we were woken by staff noise (cleaners and pool staff) around 6am. There was also construction noise the other side of the wall that was unbearable. We went to the front desk expecting to move rooms but were told there weren't any available. The staff felt detached from any empathy and we were treated as you'd might expect at a hostel. Totally unprofessional and a very low quality experience.Avoid if you're looking for a pleasant or luxurious holiday.
Bridget Kiley (Bridge): We loved our stay here!!! Great staff, beautiful rooftop views and beds for lounging, breakfast included, really enjoyed the pool at the ground level and top roof level. It can get noisy at night with outside music and rooms opening up to main areas but that’s to be expected. Hope to be back in the future!
MarcoS DMGZ: 24 chambres, le tout dans un écrin au style colonial, préparez-vous à remonter le temps...Magnifique et idéalement situé.
Elisa Del Carmen Alvarez Vasquez: Excellent place... MagicalRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Amaury BRIANCON: Very bad experience with the staff at the entrance who was very rude. Jorge in particular. Rest of the the staff was very nice though. We ordered water for the breakfast and they made us pay the bottle without telling us!! The gesture is incredible. Also they market a very nice rooftop with a pool. But it was in renovation and no one told us. They have another small pool but hard to use because everybody was packed there.Having issues happen but the way they communicated about them where very bad unfortunately.

Free Walking Tour Cartagena: what do users think?
Sammy Hawkins: We had such a brilliant tour with Gustavo - he was funny, charming and so interesting. We learnt a lot too. Would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Cartagena!
Sabina: Such a fantastic tour as our tour guide Gustavo likes to call it we were treated like VIP so much fun and soo much information. It was an amazing experience I would highly recommend this tour in Cartagena. Thank you Gusto we had an amazing time
Ingrid Knarston: We learnt some interesting history of Cartagena, would have preferred more walking and history than some of the stops at souvenir shops, but an enjoyable tour nonetheless!
Lukas Pestalozzi: Nice little walking tour for Cartagena. Learning the history of the city and churches. Good way to look around the city and find interesting places.
Dulce Paz: Fernando was great! Lots of history and he was enthusiastic and passionate about sharing the stories of Cartagena with us! Would recommend
Jamie Lee: The free walking tour was a great was to explore a part of Cartagena and learn about the history. The company was very easy to communicate with through Whatsapp. Shout out to Gustavo for a pleasant private tour! Definitely would recommend :)
Alice Raza: 5⭐️Great experience with Gustavo! He is passionate about Cartagena’s history and told us all the little secrets to know about you the main historical buildings.
Ben Webster: I was the only one to show up at 9:30 so I got my own personal tour from Gustavo! He spoke great English and was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Cartagena and was able to answer all of my questions. Highly recommend signing up for this tour when visiting Cartagena!
Steven Little: It's a great tour. So knowledgeable
Ole J. Tang: Gustavo Sanzo was just a truly wonderful guide with a smile thru the whole tour, very knowledgeable and explained everything with a touch of humor, highly recommend.
Brigitte Robert: Wow! Great way to visit the city and to learn deeper history! The tour was fun, Gustavo is an excellent guide! I recommande !
Sander Rozendaal: Recommended if you're in Cartagena. Professional local guide who gives you a good insight in the beautiful history of this city.
Naz B: We had very little time in Cartegena and thought this would be the perfect way to see it. Our guide Gustavo spoke perfect English. He met us on time at the designated spot and was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He gave us some good tips about the rest of the city. We really enjoyed this tour and will definitely be coming back to explore more.
Amd S: Excellent!
Alexis Garza: Gustavo was excellent. I learned a lot and Gustavo answered all of our questions. Recommended.
Gillian Evans: We were a little apprehensive on what the tour would be like as never been to Columbia before but as soon as we saw Gustavo we could see what a pleasant young man he was.He gave us a very informative, animated and amusing tour. We also love meeting the story behind the locals we meet . Gustavo had such great interpersonal skills we assumed he was born into a privileged family. Not so. he has obviously worked hard, completing a history degree and wants to have a career in tourism. Heartwarming to see a young man with ambition and his mum and grandmother must be very proud of him.The only tip I would give the company is to tell customers on booking they should only pay $10.00 for a taxi ride from the cruise ship and have the right money as they don’t have change (Gustavo told us after we paid $25.00) and that the square to meet is through the yellow clock tower as when we first arrived it was a bit bewildering as you do get hassled by others in the town and not speaking the language difficult to get directions.Thank you for a great tour and woukd have tipped more than the $40.00 had we not paid so much for a taxi!
Iain S: Excellent tour with Yellow Umbrella guide. Edgar. Informative, educational, and above all, entertaining!
Prajyoth Mirajkar: Good friendly guide but he needs a better speaker. It was difficult to hear him.
cydnie nippress: Gustavo showed us around Cartagena, he was really informative and had a great vibe, would 100% reccomend
Sérgio Oliveira: Equipe de tour em Cartagena muito bom para conhecer o centro histórico.
Heena Patel: Being quite hot in Cartagena, it was quite difficult to keep attention but our guide did his best. The main issue that I had was that our guide often explained as he walked and so I could not always hear him, despite being in a small group of 6 people. The things that I did hear were interesting though.

Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena: what do users think?
Sebastian Leon: Exceptional service, location, pool, spa, food, drinks, and energy. Best of all is the kindness, generosity, professionalism, warmth, and tirelessness of the *entire* staff. There are service charges that are a critical ingredient in making this experience possible, but please be as generous with gratuities as you can. The team that works at Sofitel Santa Clara is presidential. 3000% on point. And there are friendly ghosts. Not everyone can experience them but they’re there and it’s a good thing.Noteworthy details: Magical and positively haunted hotel.

Lorena LM: Absolutely amazing hotel, a truly 5-star experience! Staff are incredible and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. From Jesus welcoming special guests to the mayordomos (thank you Rudy, Diego, Amaury and Armando!) and everyone else in the hotel. The facilities are stunning and full of history and the food is amazing in all restaurants. I highly recommend the restaurant 1621 for amazing fine dining! Can’t wait to go back one day!
Vilma Barrios: I had lunch with my family, excellent attention, service and food
Karen McNeill: This place is worth every penny! The people are beautiful, welcoming, and most of all kind. The rooms are a little outdated, but for the most part you don’t spend a lot of time in your room. The hotel has everything you need and it’s conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. I highly recommend this place. They nailed “customer service”! I will return!
Luchy Cuentas May: Simply, the best place at all times... I highlight the warmth and simplicity of its collaborators...Food & drinks: Las habitaciones, sus áreas, su gastronomía, en fin todo es excelente. Es un lugar muy completo.
Gustavo Enrique Soto: Excellent menu served by high-level professionals
Juancho Arcilla: It was a flawless lunch. Pate of black and green olives, capers and anchovies on bread.Exquisite seafood casserole accompanied by Viognier blanc wine.Excellent prices
