Troy Benson: Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Incredible food and top notch ambiance. However, they don’t get 5 stars from me, because their service was disjointed and confusing. We ordered a chefs menu and the courses were delivered in a poor sequence and they had to be reminded to keep the pace up. That being said, they were busy and everything else was superb.

Sandra: This place was quite a surprise. Firstly, my family and I walked into Carmen hoping to snatch a table for an early dinner. Well, with no reservation that plan backfired.Thankfully, the staff suggested Moshi. Moshi serves Japanese cuisine, and is nestled inside Carmen. I ordered the tasting menu w/cocktails and it was an amazing meal. This review was long over due, one year to be exact, and I can’t recall all of the dishes. However, if you’re a foodie and appreciate small surprises in every dish, then I recommend the tasting menu.

Lourdes Celestrin: I would have liked to write a good rating, but the reality is that we had higher expectations considering the place and the cost. The taste of most of the dishes did not impress us, neither did the quality of the wines. In addition, some of what I ate did not taste good, I was vomiting throughout the early morning and part of the next morning. The service was excellent and the place is very nice.

JT Genter: Oh how we wanted to like this place! We love kebabs and were excited to see a well-rated place nearby. I should have taken a look at the meat spit before ordering, because it didn't work. So, the shop had sliced raw meat off the spit and then cooked it on the grill. The result: a very gristly and unevenly cooked meat.My wife's falafel was freshly fried to delicious perfection. I really regretted not ordering falafel instead.The "seasoned fries" were also freshly fried, but they were pulled out a bit too early, leaving them also undercooked. And barely any seasoning was added.I'm not saying to avoid this place. It seemed like they were trying to please. But between two undercooked dishes, our experience was subpar.

The service is friendly and attentive (Jorge and Karen were amazing). The breezes are delightful as you are seated on the second floor in open air (covered)...and there are large fans during the hotter months....and a perfect view of the Castle! It is not a crowded place for its prices, but the atmosphere is very cool.The live band is nice.Parking is not close.The drink with which they prepare their drinks is apparently of high quality, however the lemonade we had was not as rich and fresh in relation to the price.There are much nicer and bigger places in the sector for those prices, the place was only for a Friday. I assume that quality and price is not attractive to customers.It is the second time that I go in my life and this time the atmosphere was not as nice as it was in 2018, the date I went and had a couple of drinks and the atmosphere was great!

You can choose to be outside where they have tables and chairs on the street or inside if you want to enjoy the live band. The food is delicious basically a Cuban menu but also has some more Caribbean options.

sam stringer: on a recent trip to colombia with friends, i visited the french restaurant Montmartre in Cartagena.the interior of the restaurant was quirky and had a chilled atmosphere.for starters I had hoped to try the french onion soup, but it was sadly out of stock. instead I ordered the duck empanadas which were decent.for mains I of course ordered the steak frites. this was one of my favourite dishes of my 2 week holiday in colombia. the steak and chips alone were sensational, but the creamy peppery sauce lifted it to a whole new level.we also polished off some lovely red wine.a must-visit for anyone after high quality dining experiences in Cartagena!

Dishes are made to perfection, I had a salmon wellington which is quite different to the usual filet wellington, and my girlfriend had fishes and shrimps on coconut sauc! The hall has clean, beautiful and organized furniture, the bar looks very attractive. What they have to improve is the image of the service, the young man was very courteous all the time, but it would be good if he worked on his image. Another aspect to improve is billing. I think that this restaurant with the quality of its preparations must be better.I recommend the Filet Mignon, uffff delicious.
