Whatever you do - DO NOT get the Ultrasonic peeling device facial. My face looks horrible still and it’s been a week since I got the facial. My nose has 2 blistered scabs and my cheek has a huge scab too. The lady doing the facial was so gentle up until she started using the Ultrasonic peeling device on my face. Since the facial I have cried because my birthday is coming up and I wanted my face to look nice. Now I don’t even want to go out. I had high expectations because the ambiance and staff were all great. If you do go, just don’t get the Ultrasonic peeling device facial.

Husband and i had a couples massage… fabulous!!!Spa is super clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Highly, highly recommend when you’re in Cartagena.

Falsche gedacht sie hatte den gleichen gedanken!! dann verschwand auch meine masseurin 5-6 min und kam mit wasser so un relax war ich noch nie im leben. Ansonsten schlafe ich ein wie gut die massage sind hier habe ich gelitten.

In my case, I took the exfoliating massage which was done with sea salts and moisturizing creams.Appointment times are met, the staff is uniformed and maintains standard hygiene standards, you can pay by credit card and they have a portfolio of various services.It is appreciated that it is a place for therapeutic and relaxing massages and not one with a "happy ending" since in Cartagena they abound.The only thing I would suggest is that they have slightly more competitive prices because certain massages already seem overpriced to me.

Michael Jeffreys: I’ve been to Plenitud spa three times so far and always get an excellent massage! The atmosphere is very relaxing, nice decor, friendly service, and half the price of what I pay in the United States. The tourism company I work for, Everything Cartagena, uses them for our clients. A couple of months ago Plenitud Spa sent 12 masseuses with portable beds to a mansion in the old city and did massages for one of our groups. They enjoyed it so much they asked for a repeat visit the following morning. We had two clients visit the spa yesterday who also raved about the quality of the massage and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a fabulous massage at a fair price.

It was 50 mins of the lady rubbing oil on us, that was it! I wish I was joking.

The women that massaged us had very strong hands and knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend them.I would recommend to the business that they tell people upfront that tip is customary to give to the staff on top of the fee. I already had a tip ready to give to the girls for doing a great job. It was awkward for us and the girls that they waited for us to come out of the massage room and used an app to translate that we should tip them.Also, I did have to negotiate fee via WhatsApp because what I was quoted versus what is listed on their website was different. They also prefer cash and told me their credit card printer was broken. Because of this, I almost blew them off.I had to stop by the bank and get cash, which I do not like to carry that much around because of pickpockets. Other than these inconveniences, they are totally worth it and the staff were very sweet and gave a great massage.I only mean for this to be constructive criticism for the business to take into consideration. Kimberly Guerin: We stayed at the Hyatt Cartagena for a family vacation. Isabel checked us in and was super accommodating. Her customer experience skills are superb.We arrived a couple of hours before checking, she graciously provided a hospitality room for us to change our clothes. While we were out exploring the city, she had our luggage conveniently transported to our room and emailed me. I appreciate the level of service she provided!Rooms: We booked a suite and it was just what we needed; 2 rooms 1 master and 2nd room with 2 twin size beds. Balcony overlooking the water. The pullout couch was super convenient for our family of 5 and the room was spacious.Safety: One of the reasons we decided to stay at the Hyatt was for safety purposes. We have stayed at the Hyatt in other countries and felt extremely safe.I like the idea of having to take 2 sets of hotels to get tothe room. This provides a layer of security bc you gave to go to the main lobby to access the room elevator.Walkability: The hotel is conveniently located in Boca Grande, next to a mall with many shops and in front of a grocery store. It's a couple of mins away via Uber to the Walled City.Food & drinks: We had room service, the food was good and priced reasonably. The drinks by the pool were amazing. We ordered mojitos and they were great!

Spectacular pool environment with dj that enlivens everything. The hotel is very large, very safe, the attention of all the staff is first class, luxury at all costs. Jay Peralta: I had such an amazing stay at this Hyatt for a 6 day trip to Cartagena. The views are gorgeous, though it is such a shame the beach is being completely rebuilt so during our stay we just saw construction every day by the water. The service was exceptional and the restaurants were all great. All of the pools have a great view and are never too busy.
Yanis & Yei: Here you find healthy eating and gourmet dishes. It has several restaurants open to the public, amacagua and kokaú. Recommended to visit if you are in Cartagena

When we arrived we had an issue with our hotel room door not securing, and after we notified the front desk they sent someone and it was fixed immediately. We will definitely be staying at the Charleston again. The location was perfect.

Carolina Ardila: I had the misfortune of staying at a hotel in which I was unable to talk with the manager, and also charged me a tax that is only applicable for residents. Furthermore, they refused to accept my passport as proof that I am leaving overseas. It was an unpleasant experience overall and one I would not recommend to anyone looking for accommodation while traveling abroad.The first issue arose when trying to speak with someone in charge about my reservation; there seemed no way of doing this without having direct contact information or being able go through customer service on site. This made it difficult if any issues were encountered during stay because there wasn’t any reliable source available who could help resolve them quickly and efficiently.The second issue came up when checking in; instead of charging me what should have been due according their policy, they added additional taxes meant only for residents - something which should never happen considering that foreign travelers are exempt from such charges! To make matters worse they then refused my passport as valid proof needed upon departure - despite passports being accepted worldwide as standard official identification documents! The card, the booking and the address of the booking are also from overseas.Overall it has been an extremely unsatisfactory experience dealing with this particular hotel's management team and customer service staff alike; both lacked basic understanding about how these situations are usually handled meaning guests can be left feeling confused or frustrated by their policies . As such ,I cannot recommend staying here unless absolutely necessary given all the problems associated with its services . JR
Gethsemanie Acea: Beautiful hotel located in the center of EVERYTHING. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was accommodating especially Raphael. He was a charm. I swear everytime we cam back our rooms had been cleaned with fresh linens and when had out personal items put to the side neatly. The breakfast was very good fill of fresh fruit. Nothing beat the roof top pool with a stunning view. Everything about our stay here was nothing short of amazing.
Jenny Smith: We had an incredible time splurging here for our honeymoon! We are usually budget travelers, so ending our trip with some class and luxury was a real treat. :-) The rooftop wading pool was a highlight and provided incredible views of the city and we were able to experience the most precious colorful sunset over the sea on one of the cloudless nights. The breakfast in the morning was also delightful, with so many unique/local whole fruits to choose from (we booked a room where breakfast was included, which was a great choice). Oh and there were fresh flowers everywhere that looked and smelled incredible! Hydrangea, lilacs, orchards - so much beauty everywhere.We stayed in the newer "Republican" part of the hotel - I loved the lavender colored walls and our shower had the best view of the city. We also enjoyed looking/sitting in the more historic colonial part of the hotel. There is so much to soak up throughout the surroundings, and the location is absolutely perfect - near the Old City wall/lookout and walkable to all of the shops and restaurants in the area. If you want to indulge a little bit during your travels, this the perfect spot to do so. :-)
Maridol Cecilia: The hotel has a good location, but when you arrive you go to the bar and the lady in charge had sports and couldn't authorize music. On Thursday we arrived on Friday we went to have breakfast and they told us that they are going to have a drink. I told her a mango juice yes it is sweet I asked for it with water and my husband with milk it was sour and I asked the young man if he could put milk on it to make it better and he said he couldn't, then we wanted to share a hot pot and I asked him if he could put the scrambled eggs on us The bill couldn't be made then and he didn't even bother, he gave us the bill as if nothing or an apology, much less, but we have a very high opinion of Guillermo the bartender and Marcela thank you very much but I would not return to this hotel 🤔Noteworthy details: I would not go back

Bill Long: Fun, laid-back gay bar and disco with a dark room and xxx movie room. We went four times during our trip - Friday, Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursday.Of course it was most fun on Friday and Saturday. Great DJ, fun dancers, lots of people dancing. It was pretty quiet on Wednesday and Thursday, but the staff was super nice, helping arrange chairs for our group and such.Hope to come back sometime.

Stephen and Mark capitolhillcontemporary: I visited this bar twice during my stay in Cartagena. It is a short walk or taxi ride from the city center. The owner and his staff were very accommodating!! They made me feel very safe and welcome. The drinks were reasonably priced and the music was good. I strongly recommend Gabanna Club if you are traveling to Cartagena and want to enjoy some drinks and dancing with local men.

With a dark room, xxx video room, terrace and dance area, super cold beer, fair prices, nice people who are usually locals, there are almost no tourists but you will get good eye tacos and I highly recommend it. When leaving you must have your taxi or take it on the avenue, it is not dangerous at all.
