Her customer experience skills are superb.We arrived a couple of hours before checking, she graciously provided a hospitality room for us to change our clothes. While we were out exploring the city, she had our luggage conveniently transported to our room and emailed me. I appreciate the level of service she provided!Rooms: We booked a suite and it was just what we needed; 2 rooms 1 master and 2nd room with 2 twin size beds. Balcony overlooking the water. The pullout couch was super convenient for our family of 5 and the room was spacious.Safety: One of the reasons we decided to stay at the Hyatt was for safety purposes. We have stayed at the Hyatt in other countries and felt extremely safe.I like the idea of having to take 2 sets of hotels to get tothe room. This provides a layer of security bc you gave to go to the main lobby to access the room elevator.Walkability: The hotel is conveniently located in Boca Grande, next to a mall with many shops and in front of a grocery store. It's a couple of mins away via Uber to the Walled City.Food & drinks: We had room service, the food was good and priced reasonably. The drinks by the pool were amazing. We ordered mojitos and they were great!

Luxury, spectacular, spacious rooms with an incredible view, intelligent climate inside the rooms that ensure a restful sleep, the food is delicious buffet and à la carte, there are several restaurants and a pool area for adults and families. Spectacular pool environment with dj that enlivens everything. The hotel is very large, very safe, the attention of all the staff is first class, luxury at all costs. I loved it, I will surely return to the hyatt chain. Highly recommended.

Jay Peralta: I had such an amazing stay at this Hyatt for a 6 day trip to Cartagena. The views are gorgeous, though it is such a shame the beach is being completely rebuilt so during our stay we just saw construction every day by the water. The service was exceptional and the restaurants were all great. All of the pools have a great view and are never too busy.

Just a shot of vodka or rum will cost 80,000 pesos (~$19 US dollars), which is close to 2x other high end restaurants in the old city.Despite the fabulous view we were shocked by the prices of the cocktails, which spoiled our visit.

The music is so important for the ambiance, the full city is about salsa and good vibe, I can’t believe they don’t have better music than that to create a vibe.2. The service! We ordered 2 Dry Martini from the menu. The waiter said they can’t do them, they are out of gin. We asked then to replace by vodka. It got extremely complicated. And at the end, they charged double the price, saying they had to charge a shot of vodka (?) to replace the gin in the martini.. we argued, but the manager was rude and not client friendly. A big zero for the service.Unfortunately, although the view is amazing, go for some pictures and get your drinks somewhere else nicer !

HAROLD RANSOM: This place was recommended by our driver and it was spot on. Nice location, with beautiful views. We could see other rooftop bars and it had a view of the Plaza where a public concert was taking place. Chel NYC: I had a terrible time staying at this hotel. The service was awful and the owner of the hotel had nothing but rebuttals for all of the complaints I had. I stayed there for a week with no hot water to shower with, the gym was closed the entire stay, staff wouldn't provide me with fresh towels, instead they'd hang up dirty towels to dry, and someone took three days to open our balcony door (you need a key to unlock it which only staff is allowed to do). It's 25 mins away from the city where you can find great restaurants, clubs, and bars. It's not worth the price & I highly recommend staying within the city so you don't have to spend money taking Ubers/Taxis back and forth (even though it was cheap). The food was very eh as well. Don't ever stay here.Rooms: Decent rooms.Safety: Hotel doesn't allow any vehicle enter without asking what they're there for taking down their name.Walkability: Cannot walk anywhere.Food & drinks: Food was so so drinks were good.

Andrés Giraldo: It is too expensive a price for the benefits, I am Colombian and I wanted to give an all-inclusive a try after having been to Cancun and Punta Cana in all-inclusive hotels. I think they fall very short in all-inclusive service. The room is good but the air conditioning is noisy. On the other hand, when you go out to the beach, be prepared not to find a place to sit and if you ask for help, someone will say that they cannot accommodate a chair for you because they are for the people of the Plus service. lines of up to half an hour for a drink, they only give you coffees and they charge you for a cappuccino or pastries and on the other hand the pool is too small for the number of people who arrive there, and the food is a total disappointment, there is too much variety missing, only coke and water, and there is a lot of protein missing, and worst of all, the late checkout takes your handcuffs off and tells you that you can stay until 6pm but no one tells you that you can't drink anything from the bar, so get ready to go thirsty for the rest of the afternoon... even in the Decameron Baru here in Colombia they give you drinks and food in the additional time... in short, very expensive for what you received and the service leaves much to be desired in Cancun I have paid much less and received more than double in benefits

philip lawrence: I rate this hotel a Minus 1. I am in Cartagena EVERY 2 months and decided to try the Almirante. WORST thing I could have done. We checked in, me and fiancée, both WITH passports. The day after checking in, the hotel security team rushed the elevator we were using to go to our room and asked my fiancée if she was registered in the hotel, what an embarrassment, other guests looking etc., like we had done something!! THEY ASKED HER THAT BECAUSE SHE IS A COLOMBIANA, SO, THEY, THE SECURITY TEAM, RACIALLY PROFILED HER!! I Spoke to the manager the following morning and demanded they make things right for the embarrassment they had caused us due their inept security team (my fiancée cried the whole night because of what happened with the security team !!) The manager agreed that the hotel was at fault, that the security team never should have done what they did and that they would 'comp' us our room charges for the stay to make things right!!The problem is, THEY DID IT, and they did it because it has been tolerated all along, that is my problem with the whole thing She (hotel manager) fully agreed that what happened NEVER should have happened so, they would make things right.Just today, about 10 days after our trip, I was making another reservation at this hotel (because the hotel manager had, I thought. handled everything professionally) when I received an email from the hotel manager saying that She would not honor the room comp but would adjust an overcharge of about $35 from our prior bill. When I asked WHY, SHE SAID that she Never Agreed to the room comp in our meeting in her office on the day in question (I have emails from her admitting their security teams fault!!!! ) Money is one thing but, lies / integrity are another!!I judge a company by their word which is their integrity and not by the cost of services more times than not. With that being said, I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone as, I do not trust them, totally mis-managed!!!! I stay at the Dan Cartagena ALL THE TIME and have NEVER had any problems of any kind, and the rooms are twice the size with Balcony's and the hotel is ON THE BEACH, no walking to the beach!! DO yourself a FAVOR and run as fast as you can AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL PROPERTY. ALSO, THIS IS ABOUT A 3 STAR PROPERTY, VERY DATED AND VERY SMALL ROOMS (AND WE HAD THE BEST ROOM THE HOTEL OFFERED!! )

Es steht nirgends wie viel es normalerweise kostet es wird auch nichts schriftliches ausgehändigt.Schon am Eingang wartet die Security die konstant wissen will, auf welchem Zimmer du schläfst sowie das nur die Person das Hotel betritt die da auch registriert und bezahlt ist.Die Rezeption kennt keine Privatsphäre und zeigt fremde ID-Kopien und Registrationsblätter.Auch finde ich persönlich die Angestellten der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich.Ich konnte über die Seite wo ich das Hotel gebucht hatte die restlichen Nächten Stornieren und ein anderes Hotel buchen.Zum Glück war das andere Hotel viel besser.Safety: Das Hotel überwacht seine Gäste 24/7 und das auch im Zimmer.
