We asked for a song to sing birthdays and they didn't allow it because they only listen to electronic music, we were a group of more than 15 adult people to celebrate the birthday of a 60-year-old person. The hostess did not want to allow us to enter because they already wanted to close the premises and their closing time was in 3 hours!I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!It goes without saying that I would never return to this place...I would like to add that I do not recommend any dish, much less the beer that was super hot!

Lady Bello: The reason why I’m putting 5 stars is because the food is sooo delicious yum yum and where the restaurant is located the is amazing. The bad part is the communication in that restaurant. If you go on google maps search up the restaurant and try to call that restaurant the number bad it doesn’t go through. I tried sooo many times I had to go to another restaurant and ask for help. That restaurant needs to adjust the number as to why they haven’t is a mystery. Once I was able to successfully make the reservations a few hours later I called to make sure my reservations was ok and then I called again the second day just make sure, call me crazy I just like to make sure everything was okay. As soon as I got there they didn’t see my reservations 🤯!!! I had to get loud and rude to the put that they called in the manager and I told the manager this is a mess on how you handle the reservations. Yeah you can also do the reservations online but I believe in doing things myself and or in person. The manager let me in because I gave him all proof that I tried calling to make a reservation and everything. We sat the table that we picked. WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR for our server to come to us. Another serve saw us tried to help and she noticed that our actual serve never came up to us. She decided to help I was soo angry on how the manager miss manages his personal. The server who help us was soo sweet to us. I left her a tip and she said that there’s a new law in Colombia that because the restaurants are paying the servers well the customers aren’t allowed to tip us. I believe alll restaurantes should follow this example.

Every bite was a burst of freshness and the seafood was perfectly seasoned. However, the real highlight was the seafood paella rice, a typical dish of the region and expertly prepared. Every spoonful was bursting with marine flavors and transported me right back to shore. It was a real delight!The terrace where I ate offers a lovely view of the city and a relaxed atmosphere. But what really made my experience special were the live street performances. I enjoyed live music and fascinating performances while savoring my meal. Angele Chauviere: I have been recommended this place and unfortunately for me I was really disappointed and I had a bad experience. I think it is overrated and overpriced. I was widely ignored during my time in this restaurant, first when I entered I had to wait while the staff were finishing their conversation for someone to acknowledge me, as I was alone I was not offer any other option but to seat at the counter, where again I got ignored until the barman decided to do the other staff job and handed me a menu over the counter and then later took my order ( as I still had not received any attention from the other service staff). I was going to take a medium ceviche as I was not too hungry for lunch but then I was dishonestly convinced by the barman that the medium ceviche was ridiculously small ( he made a circle with in index and thumb to show me the size of the medium ceviche, which you can imagine is not bigger than 5-7cm of diameter), so I found myself pushed to order a super which was twice the price of the medium. I then asked for tap water ( that was on the counter in a chilled water distributor for that purpose) but again the barman scared me saying it was not safe (why would you have it on the counter for people to help themselves then?), so again I found myself pushed to order natural water from the menu at 8000, the barman tried to serve me another water that was on the menu and that was twice that price… The ceviche was good, don’t get me wrong, but that’s all it was standard good food. I had many ceviches in many countries and different places that were far better for way less money. I was pushed around while I was eating on my high chair several time by staff passing behind or leaning on the counter. As again I did not get much attention after I finished eating I stood up to ask for my bill, surprise…the printed copy included the service, taxes and… tips of almost 9000 I never been consulted for, and for a ‘good’ service I clearly did not experience. I found myself being taken for a fool (again) being told it is included, while it’s clearly not when it’s added on the top of the price of what you have ordered including fees and taxes… at that point I just wanted to pay and leave as I really despise dishonesty and just wanted to leave this situation and move on with life before it ruins it more for me. Silly me to think it was over, they then proceeded to try 3 times to process unsuccessfully my payment with two efpos machines without consulting me about which account I wished to use, until I finally put a stop to it and asked them to ask me when they were prompted by the machine to make a choice. Once they finally asked me and I was finally able to make a choice about my own money it worked… terrible customer experience management, not a sorry, I only caught one smile the entire time there, it was when the efpos said payment successful.

A lot of cars parked and driving right in front of it, it would be so much nicer if the little street right in front of the structure was a walkable street to make it more tourist friendly. If we decided to walk inside the bóvedas (to avoid the cars) we were faced with people trying to sell us stuff. We just wanted to peacefully walk, admire and take pictures without having to be rude and ignore people or saying “No gracias” every minute. The structures are nice if you already know the history behind it. My boyfriend, who doesn’t really care about history, thought it was boring and dirty. I liked it but could be better preserved.

On Google it said they opened at 1pm. At 1.30pm I could not find the entrance of where it was supposed to be indicated on Google maps and I thinking walked into someone’s living room. After asking around I was told the restaurant is somewhere else. When I got there they said they will open at 2pm and they would only start serving tapas at 5pm. So, I left angrily! All this can be fixed by just updating the Google information!

The facilities are stunning and full of history and the food is amazing in all restaurants. I highly recommend the restaurant 1621 for amazing fine dining! Can’t wait to go back one day!

È stata un'esperienza divina: servizio impeccabile, cibo squisito (colazione DA SOGNO) e infrastruttura meravigliosa. Unica pecca la mancanza di chiarezza riguardo il sistema delle mance. In Colombia è usanza lasciare una mancia pari al 10% del totale del conto. Ma non ci hanno spiegato bene che al momento del check out, per ogni notte ci hanno addebitato (con un sistema di mance centralizzato) circa 40€ (!). Il problema è che la mancia comunque dovrebbe essere una cosa volontaria, ma al momento di firmare ogni conto, comunque ti viene chiesto quanto desideri lasciare come mancia... Quindi abbiamo dato mance a ogni pasto, cocktail ecc. e in più ci hanno addebitato quei 40€ per ogni giorno che hanno aumentato cospicuamente il saldo da pagare a fine soggiorno. Comunque sia consigliatissimo!!!!!

The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. I highly recommend this place. They nailed “customer service”! I will return!
