Alejandro Machado: Hello, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and getting around outside the hotel is an odyssey. As there is nothing nearby, transportation is very complicated. This is a weekend hotel for people who live nearby and who bring their car. For those who travel by plane it is very difficult to move, and there is only one car without air conditioning to move everyone. The beach is not close and you can only go in the hotel car, because you have to enter a closed complex. The internet was lousy, with a data channel of less than 3MBps, and with WiFi from cheap brands that do not work well, with only a few users connected there was no service. The hotel is nice, the food was acceptable but expensive. The rooms do not have the table shown in the photo on the balcony. The staff are nice and give good service as far as they can.I do not recommend the San Silvestre party, extremely expensive and literally the party of the hotel owners and their family, paid for by the guests. It really was quite uncomfortable.They have few chairs and sunbathing in the pool, so it was difficult to get close to the pool. The people from the service did not give options, and later I realized that the priority was given to the family of the owners, for whom they did get sunscreens.I really do not recommend it for people who travel by plane, it really is very far from Cartagena.Rooms: No tenían mesa ni sillas en la habitaciónNearby activities: No hay absolutamente nada cerca.Walkability: NoFood & drinks: Aceptables, aunque costosas para el precio. Now that I need to reschedule, because we can just travel, nobody is taking charge and I have to go out and hire a new hotel because these cheeks wash their hands of it. They are scammers!

The hotel did not have a first aid kit, which is mandatory. So I had to treat my wound as best I could with what was available at that time. The next morning I woke up with a tick on my skin, which clearly came from the hotel bed since I did not have it on my body the night before.A few hours later I was told about a policy of paying for sheets that have blood stains, $150 COP which is a very high amount in a country like Colombia. It is also a totally discriminatory, shaming and humiliating policy. What happens when a woman keeps the sheets because of her menstruation? Both situations are involuntary and do not represent a misuse of the sheets. This type of situation should already be included in the hotel's cleaning budget. Mister Anon: 3 nights was lovely. A very real charm to the place. Great location and surprisingly quiet given the streets nearby are extremely intense. Unfortunately the hot water was an issue (albeit most of Colombia has similar issues), the upstairs Jacuzzi/Bar was closed during high shoulder season ? and 1 particular staff member with a heavy lisp and almost no English was impossible to deal with especially during a travel emergency we experienced. (Yes I know it's not her fault for the lisp, but perhaps not the right person to be handling customer relations given her almost inaudible Spanish) Thankfully Ceasar who is a concierge and tour guide really went out of his way to help.

Christopher Sherman: Wonderful staff and beautiful accommodations. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. They helped arrange a covid-19 test to be done in our room and the results in 2 hours. The food was made to order eggs each morning with fruits and sausage. Nice little selection to get the day started. They have someone to help arrange any tours or needs that you may have. I spent 4 hours each day ready in a hammock and absolutely loved every minute of it. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Cartagena.

Because it is colonial and to give a warm touch to its environment, its lights are very dim, which makes it romantic, but perhaps there may be an alternative of more intense light inside the rooms for people who do not see well. Flor Bonilla: My husband and I did the Day Spa Pass, and it was an amazing experience. Our spa day began with a refreshing cold tea, we then changed into robes in their locker rooms. We had a body scrub followed by a one hour long massage. It was so relaxing! Our scrub left our skin so smooth! We then got to enjoy the pool and spa which were absolutely beautiful! The staff helped us get lounge chairs under the shade. The drinks and food at the pool bar were great and the attention they provide to clients is superb. Thank you to everyone for an amazing experience!
