Bomba Beach Club: what do users think?
Alexander López Salazar: My girlfriend and I have beautiful memories of this wonderful place, 10 out of 10 in everything.
SHERY DE JESUS QUIJANO ARANDA: There are hammocks, beds. And chairs to stay all day.
ariel perdomo: The food is very good, the snapper is recommended. A quiet and peaceful place. Highly recommended.
Scott Gee: Food & drinks: good foodNoteworthy details: awesome peopleRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic …More

Carlos José Larios López: It was pasdia that I took, I did not see the rooms but from the outside they looked very well presentedSafety: Vigilancia permanenteFood & drinks: Muy buenas las cómodas
Tamara Rida: Ok lounge beds and friendly service, but the drinks and food were tasteless.Service: 5/5 …More
Jov Sando: Spacious and illuminated
Oscar Eduardo Féliz Michel: The food was very good, the service excellent and the beach regular.Food & drinks: El arroz con mariscos estaba delicioso.
Nikolay Grigorenko: We came here for one day, to hang out at the beach. After reading the reviews about 15+ beaches on the isles near Cartagena, I wasn't expecting much from the experience. This place proved to be better than I thought (and better than many other beaches, judging by the reviews). What we liked:* Fast and clear communication via WhatsApp (I made the booking on Sunday evening, for Monday morning)* Boarding the boat was ok, we had to wait for somebody 15 mins, but that's acceptable* No tricks with prices: we were not charged a single cent on top of the agreed amount, and everything that was supposed to be included in the tour, was there. Prices in the menu on site were also correct, without further surprises in the bill.* Welcoming and unintrusive personnel on the beach* Comfortable beach beds with shadow roof above* Appropriate volume of music, not too loudThere was nothing that we disliked too much, but here are a few things, worth mentioning as some drawbacks:* Food was eatable, but not more than that* Same for the drinks - drinkable, but not too good* Beach was ok for our purpose (to relax near the beachfront and work a bit), but if you are looking for some picturesque place with crystal clear turquoise water, you should probably look beyond Terra Bomba. But then again, it would be a significantly longer boat ride and higher costs.Overal this place is a definitely a good option for this price (35 USD per person, incl. boat, beachbed, lunch) and we didn't regret coming here.
Christian Rojas: Although the beach was full of bags, which the current brings from other places, the place is wonderful, they have relaxation activities, you can enjoy the rest, the food is delicious, the service is excellent
Celso Machado: The day plan is very good.I recommend.
Valeria Gonzalez Duque: It is a quiet, pleasant beach, the attention is very good and the food is very rich.It is an ideal plan to rest, sunbathe and chat because the atmosphere is soft chill-style, so if you are looking for partying it may not be the place.
jesse s: We went to Bomba Beach Club which is a part of Namaste. For the day pass price it was pretty solid (we paid 300 mil pesos for two). The staff were very friendly and the vibe was very relaxed (great if you are not looking for a party atmosphere).Definitely looked a bit different from the photos but that’s to be expected. When booking Bomba you will NOT have access to the rest of Namaste unless you pay for it.The beds and hammocks were great and yes the ocean is a a bit rocky but that is everywhere here and not the fault of the beach club.If you are looking for an easy place to get to that won’t hit the wallet hard check it out.
ESTEFANY VANEGAS: I loved
Sabrina Oviedo: Excellent service and attention... extremely pleasant, quiet environment... to totally relax.

Blue Apple Beach: what do users think?
DAHER FARAJ: Horrible experience because the staff is extremely rude stay away from this hotel. They are a bunch of liars who are trying to take advantage of customers who stay here especially Gina is the worse.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Kristine S: Highly recommend booking this experience! The service was incredible, the property was very well maintained and the food was excellent. Pricing is very reasonable. We were well taken care of and everyone was very accommodating! Loved it:)
jessie degarmo: WOW WOW WOW Exceed all expectations! We stayed for 4 nights and were happy as could be! Excellent destination for those who are looking to listen to loud music and party during the day 10am -5pm followed by peace and quiet at night.Rooms were super comfortable with incredible AC and soundproofing that made midday naps possible!Food was INCREDIBLE with a changing menu and service was PERFECT.Stop looking now and book Blue Apple!
allison Gordon: Cannot say enough amazing things about blue apple! The food was incredible, room was beautiful, staff was amazing and beach/pool were so relaxing! I will count the days until I can return one day!Rooms: Beautiful room!Food & drinks: Everything we ate was mouthwatering delicious
María José Poch Enciso: I would repeat this experience a thousand times. Completely spectacular, the attention was incredible from the entire team. Everything was always organized and neat and fresh.
Andres Henao: Everything is excellent, the staff is incredible and always willing to assist you, the rooms, the beds are wonderful, the food is spectacular, I would return without a doubt
Hernando Doria Llorente: Incredible attention, super nice and comfortable place and what to say about the gastronomy to repeat again !!

Aleiber Aguilar: They do a wonderful job, good service, good food, good quality products. The atmosphere is very festive, with a very good vibe. The facilities are clean and very organized. Thanks for everything!
Farrah Powell: We spent a day here and took advantage of the day passes that the property offers. They have a ferry that picks up in the mornings, which is convenient. We were welcomed by the staff and taken to our pool lounger. The hotel offers many add-on options for the day passes. We didn't opt for the all-inclusive package. But enjoyed a delicious meal at lunch. The pork sandwich with sour dough was amazing, as well as the ceviche. The cooks here must be applauded. We also had a massage and can report that it was the best 25$ we have ever spent period. The masseuse was amazing. The dj was a nice touch, and the music was a good mix of genres. We had such a good time, and we are hoping to come back for a weekend getaway soon. A day here just isn't enough.
Eduardo Pertuz: Excellent place, good atmosphere and exquisite food, highly recommended
Adriana Withers: We had a great time at the resort until a staff member booked a motorbike tour for with a hotel guide, told us that this was the safe way to see the island and we could take a phone for photos, and the guide then set-up a situation where we were robbed. The hotel took no responsibility/refused accountability. If you're up for a pool party, great, but I wouldn't trust their recommendations/tours or for them to take responsibility if anything goes wrong.Safety: Put in a situation that was unsafe.
Fer: Good Place!!!Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Keyla Martelo: This is a very, very nice place, it really exceeded our expectations, excellent service and the food was delicious.
Isabela Murillo: Can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food, the staff, the service and the location. The beach is clean and great to swim and with great views of the sunset. My one feedback would be that there seems to be a lot of promise of activities happening at night for guests on the website but we didn;t get any of this. It was extremely quiet and dead in the evenings. Despite this, I would 100% return in a heartbeat. Also really love their focus on sustainability and you could tell this isn't just a marketing ploy. They have a glass bottle recycling facility in the back, a garden where they grow herbs and vegtables that are used in the kitchen.Tip: book directly through their website and not through third party providers to ensure you get free breakfast included and the boat trip back to Cartagena included.
Marco Barrios: Very expensive in relation to what they offer
Al Stankus: Spent three glorious nights at Blue Apple and couldn't have been happier (well the all night Rave at a nearby resort put some unwanted deep bass into the night)The room was huge, the bed and linens top-notch and hot water plentiful.Every member of the staff went out of their way to take care of you...a special nod to Luz and Jorge. And Jessie at the front is amazing.Every meal was truly delicious with highlights being the sea bass carpaccio, fish crudo and seafood paella. The bar makes terrific nights and the wine list is really good.We spent three nights and to spend any less would be a mistake. You really do settle into an island pattern. And book a massage near the beach.
Emma Backup.: We really enjoyed our time at Blue Apple and ended up coming back for a second day. It's a good vibe and the staff are friendly and quick with service. The only negative was that we booked a bed on our second visit they said there was none available when we arrived so we had to sit on regular loungers. But that was deducted from our bill so not the end of the world. We went to a few beach clubs in Cartagena and this was probably my favourite one!
Ad Dub: We went there on a day trip and really enjoyed it. The best thing was the food and great service. Overall worth what you pay for. The boat was 20-30 mins late to get there. They have a nice outdoor gym at the hotel. One of the dumbbells fell on my foot because the weight rack isn't the most secure.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Kimberly Guerin: We stayed at the Hyatt Cartagena for a family vacation. Isabel checked us in and was super accommodating. Her customer experience skills are superb. We arrived a couple of hours before checking, she graciously provided a hospitality room for us to change our clothes. While we were out exploring the city, she had our luggage conveniently transported to our room and emailed me. I appreciate the level of service she provided!Rooms: We booked a suite and it was just what we needed; 2 rooms 1 master and 2nd room with 2 twin size beds. Balcony overlooking the water. The pullout couch was super convenient for our family of 5 and the room was spacious.Safety: One of the reasons we decided to stay at the Hyatt was for safety purposes. We have stayed at the Hyatt in other countries and felt extremely safe.I like the idea of having to take 2 sets of hotels to get tothe room. This provides a layer of security bc you gave to go to the main lobby to access the room elevator.Walkability: The hotel is conveniently located in Boca Grande, next to a mall with many shops and in front of a grocery store. It's a couple of mins away via Uber to the Walled City.Food & drinks: We had room service, the food was good and priced reasonably. The drinks by the pool were amazing. We ordered mojitos and they were great!
Super recomendado.

Jay Peralta: I had such an amazing stay at this Hyatt for a 6 day trip to Cartagena. The views are gorgeous, though it is such a shame the beach is being completely rebuilt so during our stay we just saw construction every day by the water. The service was exceptional and the restaurants were all great. All of the pools have a great view and are never too busy.
Yanis Tarifa: Here you find healthy eating and gourmet dishes. It has several restaurants open to the public, amacagua and kokaú. Recommended to visit if you are in Cartagena
Nearby activities: Dit hotel is heel centraal gelegen.
Alejandrina Peralta Cambumba: Excellent place, attentive staff, helpfulRooms: hermosa vista, limpia, comoda
Henry Rugeles: Just amazing! Expensive, though! However, the beach across the street is closed under construction.Rooms: Feel and decor of a mid-town Manhattan high-end apartment. Hi tech. Full of modern amenities.Nearby activities: Next to a mall, but very not much else within walking distance.Safety: Super safe. Front desk @ 11th. Floor. Switch to guarded different bank of elevators to access rooms. Need room key to go just to your floor.Food & drinks: Breakfast is amazing. Excellent d'oeuvres and coffee in the conference rooms area.
Hugo G. Guzmán: The best.Rooms: Spacious and well-lit. Very comfortable bed.Nearby activities: Many nearby restaurants, shopping stores and malls.Safety: Well monitored at all times. Staff by elevators in both the lobby and the main entrances.
Luis H Alvarez: Excellent view, very well located.I felt very well.
Maria Helena Benedetti: I had the experience of having a delicious afternoon, with a buffet included. Exquisite all delicious time. The stay was to relax. I recommend the hotel, in an excellent area located.Food & drinks: Excelente! Tiene variedades exquisitas en alimentos menu internacional. Delicioso!

Sonesta Hotel Cartagena: what do users think?
Mercedes Gonzalez: The rooms and bathroom are spacious, the beds comfortable. The available parking lot does not have many stalls.Varied breakfast and spacious restaurant.Attentive service at a general level. With the exception of the maid who knocked on the door at 8:15 am and opened one to ask what time I wanted the service to be done, very bad I came to rest and I was asleep. There are areas that lack order and maintenance, such as parking lots, fountains, planters, among others. The public beach, maintained by a cooperative of natives, nothing exceptional. Dirty beach areas.Rooms: Amplias y la cama cómodaWalkability: Espacios amplios
Freddy Castellanos: Excellent care and serviceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Salvatore Lelio: I love its main pool, having cocktails and eating at the restaurant… a good escape to spend a good day
richard castaño: A super nice place to rest and share with family and friends
JULIAN ANDRES AVENDAÑO ARISTIZABAL: The hotel is like a residential complex with a swimming pool. Nothing spectacular, very expensive for what it offers. It is not a hotel for families with children. The big pool has a horrible view and it was also dirty. I do not recommend it. It is a tourist type hotel. Just 3 stars.
Cecilia Cardoso: The very comfortable rooms, the cool pools, the super breakfasts, the only drawback is the check out at 12... the girls are VERY messy and they don't attend by arrival time lasting more than 20 minutes in line..I hope they give them training so I can give them the stars that the place deserves

Jorge Enrique Rivero Martínez: All the comforts to have an excellent rest
Diego Guerra: lousy food; no seasoning, cold, poorly prepared. The rooms good. The only buffet where you can not repeat. The room service is very slow. It takes more than half an hour and I asked for sugar and a spoonWi-Fi is impossible. I had to buy a data chip because I was never able to connect.Rooms: Buenas habitaciones.Food & drinks: Malísimo.
Estefania Gomez: Actually, she was super disappointed, I always stay in the Sonesta hotel chain and I thought that SONESTA CARTAGENA was not going to make the exception.Actually, the kind of details that they lack were impressed, the bathrooms that are located in the gym, do not have a bolt, that is to say that one urinates with the door open, the breakfast buffet is too boring, the same every day, super Simple, nothing to do with food, I ordered the same dish for three days in a row and every day they gave me a different presentation, being the same dish. The pool at the back is dirty, with dirt and plastic packaging, the social area is close to the rooms so you hear noise until 11pm, 12am, so if you come to rest I recommend that you don't do it in the rooms that are above the restaurant because the noise is tremendous.Disappointing the truth.Actually an experience not to return.

Nick Elias: AVOID AT ANY COST , AND CHECK YOUR BILL WHEN YOU CHECK OUT !GOT OVER CHARGED $700! TOOK ME OVER AN HOUR TO SORT IT OUT , OVER 8 CHARGES THAT WERE A "MISTAKE" !NOT SO MUCH A "MISTAKE" READ OTHER REVIEWS, SAMS EXPERIENCE.Private pool was like a swamp !Rooms: Private pool was like a swamp !
Anna Restrepo: The accommodations were amazing! We really enjoyed having bikes to ride around the resort as well as being able to call for a golf cart. We also really enjoyed the private beaches and excursions (snorkeling) that were offered. The spa massage was also amazing! We gave the resort 4 stars because the food was good but nothing wow-ed us. Overall, we had a fantastic get away here and would definitely recommend the resort!
Alison Brown: Let’s start with the good. The location is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are stunning. It has the potential to be a really wonderful hotel. Having a bungalow overlooking the ocean (#28) was so peaceful and serene. I also liked that you could call a golf cart to take you around, because many things were spread out (15 minute walk) which can be nice at times, but it’s also extremely hot and humid and the paths are not well lit at night. The food we had was also amazing, highly highly recommend the sea bass!! It was also neat to take the boat to the private island which had another pool, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, and a full bar and restaurant. Having cocktails while swimming in the warm ocean was delightful. The rooftop bar was also very cool and I watched a lightning storm for an hour one night while sipping on piña coladas. The not so great, which disappoints me to say, is that we were overcharged by nearly $600. When we checked out, there was over $300 worth of charges for things we cancelled or changed, and it took over 30 minutes for them to remove them. Our boat was departing so we asked for an itemized receipt to be emailed, which finally arrived 1 week later after asking for it 4 times, in which I found close to another $300 worth of overcharges. One of my massages was significantly overcharged and other random things like mini bar food was charged that we did not consume. Word of advice: DO NOT book through their website because you will NOT get a confirmation of how much you paid when you booked. In addition to this, when we arrived to our beautiful bungalow Friday evening for two nights, our pool was nearly empty. Upon 8pm, it was still not full. This was extremely disappointing, especially given the price we were paying. Our shower was also completely broken. Barely any water would come out, it was moldy, falling apart, and there were worms wriggling on the ground, and the hot water did not work the entire time we stayed in that room. Only a few hours into our stay, and we had multiple repair people there fixing things and they didn’t even fix the shower after spending hours in our bungalow. They also left tools in the bathroom.Saturday we asked to speak with the hotel manager, Eduardo, who was lovely. We had spent most of our time at the hotel listening to construction noise due to a remodel of some kind a couple bungalows over, which continued the entire weekend, unacceptable without warning or the option for a discount. We discussed getting to stay for one complimentary night at the private island to make up for our bungalow being unusable for the first night. It took them over 24 hours to figure out if this was possible, and honestly after two days of no showers, we were thinking we call it a loss and head home. We finally heard back that we could stay, so we moved our stuff to the private island and had a brand new bungalow for one night, which was lovely and very beautiful. Unfortunately you can only order room service from there, which is fine, except we were charged a tip for using the mini bar and we were charged for things we did not take.Overall, operationally, this hotel is a mess. They should not be renting bungalows that are inoperable with showers that do not function at $600 a night surrounded by loud construction noise. The stress of dealing with all the issues during our stay, and that I’m still dealing with nearly two weeks later, is unacceptable, especially at their price point. The fact that we were overcharged by $600 is also EXTREMELY alarming. If you decide to stay here, take photos of all receipts and plan to spend at least an hour upon check out making sure everything is correct and the price on your bill is what you were quoted.
Krista Frederic: Remote, beautiful resort for a quiet getaway. The bungalows are private and lovely whether in the trees or on the water. Recommend 3 days or so here to experience the resort and local offerings. Staff are very attentive and responsive but not overly so. Food is very good with a wide variety of choices for all meals unlike some similar resorts. Great value!
Nicolás Arízaga: Excellent hotel for a couple's trip. The Bungalow type room in the trees has a spectacular view and at the same time gives a lot of privacy. I recommend waking up at 6am and going to the top floor of the restaurant where dinner is served to watch the sunrise with the awakening of the birds and the iguanas that are in the treetops. The breakfast is very varied and has healthy options.
Pamela Carolina Muñoz Faundez: Wonderful hotel, ideal to rest and disconnect from the world. The restaurant menu is poor, but everything else is ok.100% recommended.
magda cisneros: The place is incredible, perfect to disconnect from everything and feel part of nature. I loved being there. The hotel is very large and you can get around by bike or golf carts. It has two private beaches and one of them has a very nice infinity pool.
Laura: It was peaceful, but with plenty to do. I’ve never been to a better hotel in my entire life. Additional to the cost of the hotel for the night, plan to budget for the activities, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One of the best bungalows is number three 😉Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Radu Nan: We took a couples retreat to this resort while in Colombia. The property is isolated from the town of Baru and is set in a forest and along the shore. Our bungalow was set on the shore and had a private seawater pool. The setting is nice at first but lacked privacy. The food options were limited and mediocre. Staff were friendly. The location is too far from Cartagena and too expensive for the age of the resort and limited amenities.Rooms: Great views, lack privacy, old interiorSafety: Felt safe on property. The car ride is long and roughWalkability: Easy to walk and bike on propertyFood & drinks: Mediocre with limited menu
Izzy: Like others, I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews. We stayed 2 nights and happily our experience was wonderful from start to finish. We stayed in one of the treehouses which was beautiful. Clean, spacious and a totally unique experience. You are essentially in the jungle canopy, so there will be a few bugs and lizards but that’s to be expected and wasn’t an issue for us at all. The hotel grounds and beaches are beautiful and well looked after. You can either cycle or walk between areas - it’s a big property but walking doesn’t usually take more than 15 minutes depending on where your room is and where you’re trying to get to. Alternatively you can call for a buggy. Staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is excellent and in one of the most magical settings right on the water. There’s a choice of fruit, hams, cheese and eggs as well as coffee and fresh juice. The lunch options are equally good - we particularly enjoyed the ceviche and gazpacho on the beach. Dinner was also excellent - we had the grill option, fish and pasta during our stay there and it was all delicious. Service was very good - we never had to wait long or re-order anything. The sky was too cloudy for stars but the guy went out of his way to focus the telescope on the moon which was amazing to see in such detail. The bar has amazing views over the property so definitely worth a visit too. You can also kayak and paddleboard or swim to the little jetty with deck chairs floating in the sea.I struggle to understand the negative reviews - it’s strange that experiences can be so inconsistent. I would say that it is an ecological resort in the jungle so be prepared to manage your expectations accordingly. The phone in the room didn’t work but they sent someone out right away and fixed it. The wifi can be a little patchy and we had some geckos and a monkey visiting our balcony but again, that’s the location. For us it was a magical experience and the perfect setting for our engagement. We will remember it forever. Thank you!
Ross Kirby: Don’t believe any reviews about this fantastic resort that fall below five star! The setting is idyllic, the staff are first class and the whole atmosphere is incredibly special. The hotel is immersed amongst beautiful wildlife and the beaches are private and serene. If you want an authentic yet luxurious experience, this is it.The bungalows themselves are very well kitted out and extremely comfortable. The food throughout the resort across each of the three restaurants is delicious and offers a great variety.Any review of this place that falls below 5 star suggests a high maintenance and uptight reviewer!Would 100% recommend and hopefully return!
Elvi Thio: This place cannot be more than a 2-star resort. We were a group of 10 girls with 5 separate bookings. It was a logistical nightmare (among many other things) and we met other guests during our stay who experienced similar issues / arguments with front desk. The property is immersed in nature, which is nice, but the amenities are not well maintained and the customer service is absolute TRASH. Initially chalked it up to language barrier, but oh man their defensive attitude, lack of training, and clear indifference towards helping out guests is shocking especially for a 5-star resort costing much more than average hotels in Colombia.1. They told us when we arrived that our 2-bedroom bungalow that we booked 3 months ago was under construction. No prior communication of this.2. They messed up the room assignments and switched two girls’ rooms - did not properly check passport names against their hotel booking system to know who booked what. Many girls arrived at a room they did not book. Then they blamed us for it lol.3. The spa is under construction so it wasn’t fully opened. The resort had many parts (paths + building new bungalows) under construction. A few of us woke up to construction noises.4. There is NO YOGA instructor on site (for more than a year already!). They said people bring their own instructors onto the resort? Didn’t bother trying to help us with contacts or figuring out how to find an instructor.5. The 2nd mini island was closed off on Saturday we were there for a private event. They didn’t tell us at check in. We planned our day around it and they only told us when we arrived at the lobby that we couldn’t go that day.6. One night while we were on the clubhouse rooftop they turned off the elevators and just told us it was broken.7. Things would just stop working. Our room’s phone and internet turned off for two nights, we had to go to front desk to ask them to fix it since we couldn’t call them. Also hot water doesn’t always work.8. Beware of the bungalows more inland. They get no air, no breeze. The stairs for these have no lights so it’s hard to go up and down.9. Bicycle wheels are deflated. We were a group of 10 girls with 5 rooms and a few of us had bikes with deflated tires making it hard to ride them.10. Massages AVOID KENNY AND AMALIA. Across ~10 massages our group got, no one enjoyed massages from these two. They just rub you and missed the neck and important parts of the body.11. Golf carts take forever to arrive. The property is big so you can call the lobby requesting a golf cart to take you to places, but it takes on average 20 minutes to arrive…12. They messed up billing… a lot. We each spent a lot of time at front desk double checking what we were charged. Lots of charges were on our bill, like 8 different spa services. When we made the booking at the spa, we gave each person’s room numbers, as we did when we signed checks at the restaurants, so not sure what caused the mixups still.13. They kept confirming with us the transportation bookings, then when we check later the booking would not be in their system?? Happened multiple times.14. Food sucks except the breakfast buffet. Ceviche wasn’t very fresh nor tasty. The one only restaurant for dinner sucks but you don’t have any other options. Best you can get is the beef burger or the curried quinoa.15. Service is SLOW. Expect to wait a long time for food. Order even before you get hungry because you will be by the time the food comes out.The nice things:1. Breakfast buffet is delicious, fresh and a great view while on this terrace space above water2. They provide insect repellant3. Free kayaking and paddle boarding equipmentThis resort needs to close for 3 months, train all the staff, finish construction, update the pool and public areas a bit, and then start fresh.FYI car transportation one way was ~330k Colombian pesos for an economy car and ~605k pesos for a van fitting up to 6pax. For a boat transfer, it was about $65 USD per person one way.For $450+ a night, it’s sooooo not worth it. Hard pass.
Nataly G: Such an expensive and luxurious hotel should offer a perfect experience and unfortunately it leaves a lot to be desired in one very important aspect: the food. For the type of hotel and the price you are paying for the stay, the breakfast is quite limited. I have been in much cheaper hotels that offer much more variety, quality and abundance in their included breakfasts. There is no free buffet for breakfast at Hotel Las Islas and the variety is quite limited. Also the coffee is ugly.In restaurants the food is very expensive and quite mediocre. The price of the dishes is excessive and the food is very ordinary and the portions are tiny. The experience with the food is so bad that it puts in doubt if it is worth staying in this hotel.Otherwise the hotel is fine. The bungalows are beautiful and the service is very good. The beach is good and there are few people and the atmosphere in the whole hotel is always silent. However, the value for money of the food is so bad that I would not return.Rooms: precious.Food & drinks: For the type of hotel and the price you are paying for the stay, the breakfast is quite limited. Luzelena Zea Medina: A must if you want to rest and have a lot of peace of mind. I loved this hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Tammy Dustmeit: Nice hotel, nice room, nice food and great service. Just certain things need to be fixed, ex. Not constant electricity(wasn’t major only out for like 2 seconds) and at first is difficult to navigate throughout the resort. But still great!
Alexander Gallego: Spectacular!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Manuela Adrogue: The place is very cute. the beach is standard
Brenton Anthony: Firstly starting with the positives. The resort truly was beautiful, the fit outs of not only the rooms, but also the restaurants, bar etc was great. There is a small beach at the resort, but we preferred the beach in their private island (free boat transfers over and back from the resort). The food and drink prices were reasonable (beers COP 18k, cocktails between COP 45k-65k, mains between COP 80k-120k) and the food itself was really amazing…high restaurant quality. There are around 55 bungalows on site, but very well spaced out and very private, we could only see one other from our treehouse. The treehouse/room itself was also fantastic, great AC, huge bathrooms and a beautiful deck that overlooked the water. Also provided complimentary waterproof bag and sunglasses which was a nice touch.Unfortunately we found there were a few drawbacks, mainly around the service. There were multiple small issues that in isolation, are not a big deal, but just seemed very frequent and ended up quite frustrating. Some issues included:- minimal drinking water (were provided 2 x 300ml bottles at check-in but nothing thereafter). We asked twice for some water to be brought to our room, on the first occasion it took 4 hours, and 6 hours the next time (no joke).- Poor check-in experience, we weren’t provided any detail around food menus (only that they had them at the restaurants), eating times, mini bar, boat schedule etc…and was only on the second night we found out there was a QR code with all menus/guides/details etc.- bathroom supplies (body wash, shampoo etc) weren’t restocked once we ran out, same with towels and robe.- At meal times, inconsistency around service. Sometimes you would get coffee, eggs, napkins, cutlery etc sometimes not.- Wifi is poor throughout the resort, which is somewhat understandable given the location in BaruOverall, the resort is beautiful but for the price you pay, it is let down a little by the service. I think at a resort with a similar price point in Asia/Europe the service and little things would be far superior.
