Cartagena Beach Bungalows: what do users think?
Retro Raider: Gomez, Perez and Castellar are excellent security, and Roberto is a splendid host. I had a spectacular time and shall be back!
Jorge Salcedo: Excellent place in Manzanillo. Quiet, beautiful and the sea a few meters away. Recommended
Kevin Alvarez: We had a pleasant and quiet stay, we went to relax and we did it, breakfast in the morning in the garden was very nice, the beach was very quiet, little or no street vendors, the attention was good, the facilities were clean, they have cocktail options, they have beers, there is a good breeze, so if you like water sports especially kitesurfing, windsurfing could be a good option to stay there. The place is for tranquility and relaxation, so if what you want is more partying and fun, it may not be the one for you, unless of course, as a group, they rent everything, which is not such a bad idea.
Argenis Briceno: This place is amazing to go for vacation in family or couples, is a quiet place. The continental breakfast is included. The manager Roberto is a nice guy who's does all that he can to make you feel comfortable like at home. If you are afraid about the distance to the old Cartagena, no worries because they offers you a taxi for a reasonable price. We always feel safe at this place.
Christine Haggin: The Bungalows were the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! The home cooked breakfast in the morning is always really delicious, and different every day! Roberto, the manager, goes out of his way to make sure guests have everything they need (he arranged taxis, meals, kitesurfing, and much more)! The hotel itself is also so beautiful, directly on the beach, with an amazing pool. They also just opened a bar and the drinks are great! Overall, this is the most comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Cartagena if you need to get away from the city.
Roberto E. Ramos.: Great place to rest and stay a bit away from the city! Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Annette Williams: Wonderful laid back place to stay right in a quiet beach. No vendors to disturb you okn the beach. Staff was amazing and went out of their way to arrange transport.
Jesus Florez: Very nice place to stay at! Has free breakfast, everything is always clean, and despite it being near different hotels, you can breathe beach and have a good and proper rest. Wonderful stay for individuals looking for relaxation (it's located about 30 mins from Cartagena), couples or family groups.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Luis Fernando Diaz A.: Excellent place to rest and recreate, and have a great time. Calm environment to share. Excellent attention. Pool, beach, nature.
Adriana Gonzalez: Wonderful place, excellent welcome
Ariana Malo: I loved everything about this place, it is a perfect place to get away from the city, be surrounded by nature and in front of the beach. The staff was very friendly at all times, I will gladly return. The AC was the best with Cartagena temperatures, plus there’s TV and spacious rooms so you can feel very comfortable, literally you’ll feel at home.
Velkys CM: I went to Cartagena Beach Bungalows with my family. We had a great experience staying in Bungalows, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff is polite and are willing to help with any request. We had tons of fun and we're planning on coming back this december.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Cayuco Camping Baru: what do users think?
Inesmaria Diaz: y caja fuerte. En la zona de restaurante tienen juegos de mesa y libros. La comida es muy rica y en buena cantidad. Lo mejor es la fogata que hacen en las noches, nosotros llevamos masmelos, pero allá también pueden conseguirlos.(Translated by Google
Jorge Santander: Excellent place for camping, recommended at 💯%Food & drinks: Muy buenas comidasRestrooms: Rústicos indicados para el lugar
Angelica Lozada: It is a cozy place, the tents are comfortable and you have what you need to sleep comfortably. It's a nice environment for people who support green places. The food offered by the restaurant is rich, perhaps there are more options when you book with breakfast included. It has a small beach, which has a beautiful view, ideal to hang out and have a few beers, but it wasn't so nice to swim. The campfire plan, super deli! They offer you different plans to get to know the place and you can go to the different beaches that are nearby.
ARTEK AGENCIA PUBLICITARIA: Excellent place to rest, a very quiet environment, close to Playa Blanca, very good service, exquisite food. Super recommended 👌😉
Libardo Moreno: Excellent experience, everything is very nice and the service is very good
Maria Florencia Martinena Dillon: no es de las más lindas porque es agua mezclada con río , pero mismo así es súper privada y cumple su función para un rato , después hay que ir a otras playas más alejadas .(Translated by Google
Juan Zea: The beach is neglected, you can't bleat on it, the fans in the tent are very small
MONICA JEANNETH NÚÑEZ VÁSQUEZ: Beautiful place, very nice, you can see the care with nature, the campsites are very comfortable, the bathrooms, the showers are super. 👍 The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially Daniel, Tati and Laura. The tasty food. They have a private and very comfortable beach. Highly recommended.
Erika Idrobo: Cozy place, delicious food and excellent service. Near white beach.
Christian S: The second star is just because the ambiente is very beautiful. The owner wasn't there at the time during our stay (4 nights) and no one could help us concerning tours. The camping place doesn't offer tours, they normally are just an intermediate but not even this worked well for us.Otherwise there is not much to do.Also the price is way to high for just sleeping in a tent compared to a hotel for the same price. Also the payment process was super complicated.
Betty W. Romero: Very nice place, country and rest.
Eugeniu Alexeenco: It is good camping just 20 min taxi from Cartagena and 4 min taxi from Aviario and playa blanca. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has 2 options and well done. With private beach. Positive: all is good for this price. Cons: It is possible to rent kayak by hour for 30k for April 2022 but it wasnt possible to rent for whole day like in Canadian camps. Price 100-120k for whole day has to be reasonable if compared with canadian prices. In any case 5 star!
Karen Munzón: Excellent
Sebastian Martínez: It is an experience in which you have to be willing to interact with nature, excellent camping equipment and one of the best arepa de huevo I have tried 👏👏
Kelly Cervantes: Super
Dylan Kerr: Beautiful place and very good price quality. The staff and owner are great.

Decameron Cartagena: what do users think?
Nadyiry Narvaez: Good attention and kindness the only thing is not having a beach
Viviana Pedraza: I loved this hotel. Unfortunately, I went with my family last week. The facilities are very neglected. The pool area is fatal. There is a lack of umbrellas, spaces to be able to be comfortably without the sun burning us... They don't think about the children... the menu has dropped a lot... the room was delivered to us almost 6 in the afternoon, the attention of the staff was always ready... I hope they can improve
Ricardo Cortes Parra: Good service from the staff. The maintenance of the hotel leaves much to be desired. Its location due to beach improvements is not the best. Hopefully the works will be finished soon.Rooms: Buenas pero el mantenimiento del edificio falla bastante.Walkability: Toca buscar playa pues no hay al frente del hotelFood & drinks: Buen servicio de restaurante y de bar
Carolina Ascanio: Excellent attention and service!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value …More
Jessica Rendón: It is a very big and very beautiful place, it is neat, the staff is lovely, everyone is friendly and smiling, the food and drinks are delicious, a great variety of foods in the buffet, the beach is clean and private, obviously staying in this This place is expensive, but having enough money is an excellent option and an excellent place.
John Edison Romero Diaz: Everything down in qualityRooms: La verdad muy regularesNoteworthy details: Las actividades ya no son las mismas
Erica Rojas Castellanos: The Decameron Cartagena in Bocagrande is the worst Decameron in the world. It's an ugly tower with no beach. With a very small pool with only one restaurant and no advertising site warns you that there will be no beach for 3 years, only until payment is made. Please avoid bad times, unnecessary bitterness or visit other hotels and other Decameron but definitely not this one in BOCAGRANDE.
Ángela Villareal Freire: The view is to a wall. It didn't say anything like that when we made the reservation. You ask people about the activities and many don't know, they don't advise well, the snacks are not very good. The buffet food is excellent. The San Pedro restaurant is fatal and there is no air conditioning. They also did not tell us that the idea to Baru was so sought after and we were left without knowing.
Alexander Jaramillo Dávila: Food & drinks: Muy ricos alimentosRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Lina Mercado: The air conditioning was not in the best state. Excellent view and service but we had a bit of heat at night
GIOVANNI CROW: Food & drinks: QUE BUENO Y A LIBRE ESCOGENCIA EN BUFETE LOS DOS PRIMEROS PLATOS (DESAYUNO Y ALMUERZO)Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
David Pomar: Excellent, good food and modest excellent drinks, I would add a little traditional food from the region
Luis Gonzalez: very good plansRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Angel Ballesteros: Food and services excellent the rooms are a bit disappointing.
Ale: I was in this hotel a few years ago and I was delighted, I wanted to take my family and sadly it is not as beautiful as before, it lacks a lot of maintenance, from the facade, rooms, furniture, bathrooms... they lack maintenance, I don't see it anymore like a luxury hotel. The only thing that stands out is the friendliness of the staff and that there is food and drinks all day.

Kimberly Guerin: We stayed at the Hyatt Cartagena for a family vacation. Isabel checked us in and was super accommodating. Her customer experience skills are superb. We arrived a couple of hours before checking, she graciously provided a hospitality room for us to change our clothes. While we were out exploring the city, she had our luggage conveniently transported to our room and emailed me. I appreciate the level of service she provided!Rooms: We booked a suite and it was just what we needed; 2 rooms 1 master and 2nd room with 2 twin size beds. Balcony overlooking the water. The pullout couch was super convenient for our family of 5 and the room was spacious.Safety: One of the reasons we decided to stay at the Hyatt was for safety purposes. We have stayed at the Hyatt in other countries and felt extremely safe.I like the idea of having to take 2 sets of hotels to get tothe room. This provides a layer of security bc you gave to go to the main lobby to access the room elevator.Walkability: The hotel is conveniently located in Boca Grande, next to a mall with many shops and in front of a grocery store. It's a couple of mins away via Uber to the Walled City.Food & drinks: We had room service, the food was good and priced reasonably. The drinks by the pool were amazing. We ordered mojitos and they were great!
Emilce Lopez: Everything perfect, very good and very beautiful.
claudia prieto: The hotel is new. Luxury, spectacular, spacious rooms with an incredible view, intelligent climate inside the rooms that ensure a restful sleep, the food is delicious buffet and à la carte, there are several restaurants and a pool area for adults and families. Spectacular pool environment with dj that enlivens everything. The hotel is very large, very safe, the attention of all the staff is first class, luxury at all costs. I loved it, I will surely return to the hyatt chain. Highly recommended.

João Carlos Calil: Tudo excelente! Desde o café da manhã aos quartos e atendimento,!!
Jay Peralta: I had such an amazing stay at this Hyatt for a 6 day trip to Cartagena. The views are gorgeous, though it is such a shame the beach is being completely rebuilt so during our stay we just saw construction every day by the water. The service was exceptional and the restaurants were all great. All of the pools have a great view and are never too busy.
Yanis & Yei: Here you find healthy eating and gourmet dishes. It has several restaurants open to the public, amacagua and kokaú. Recommended to visit if you are in Cartagena
Nearby activities: Dit hotel is heel centraal gelegen.
Alejandrina Peralta Cambumba: Excellent place, attentive staff, helpfulRooms: hermosa vista, limpia, comoda
Henry Rugeles: Just amazing! Expensive, though! However, the beach across the street is closed under construction.Rooms: Feel and decor of a mid-town Manhattan high-end apartment. Hi tech. Full of modern amenities.Nearby activities: Next to a mall, but very not much else within walking distance.Safety: Super safe. Front desk @ 11th. Floor. Switch to guarded different bank of elevators to access rooms. Need room key to go just to your floor.Food & drinks: Breakfast is amazing. Excellent d'oeuvres and coffee in the conference rooms area.
Hugo G. Guzmán: The best.Rooms: Spacious and well-lit. Very comfortable bed.Nearby activities: Many nearby restaurants, shopping stores and malls.Safety: Well monitored at all times. Staff by elevators in both the lobby and the main entrances.
Food & drinks: Excelente! Tiene variedades exquisitas en alimentos menu internacional. Delicioso!

Casa de Alba Hotel Boutique: what do users think?
Rebecca Marks: Casa De Alba Boutique deserves more than five stars! Elegant with old world charm that makes it a a perfect complement to the ambiance of the walled city. Perfectly located and easy access to what Cartagena has to offer. Rooms are exquisite and very comfortable. It was lovely to have both pools and a beautiful front deck to enjoy fabulous food and watch the city life below. The staff is superb and made our stay wonderful in every way! Special thanks to Jefferson; he went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for us and secured bookings for us at several amazing restaurants that we were unable to do on our own! We will be back to visit Cartagena and our friends at Casa De Alba Boutique!
Manzano Jessica: We stayed here for one night and our stay was absolutely wonderful !The hotel is in the “Cartagena old town”, so we were near to everything. The staff is so polite and full of advices.Breakfast was great with choices for eggs and juices. We had it on their little balcony with the street view, but we could also have it on the room.We will definitely come back and recommend it !Thank you 🙏🏽
Angelica Lawrence: I had the time of my life! I absolutely loved my stay. My sister and I were treated like royalty. Carlos went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! He set up taxi arrangements, horse and carriage rides, dinner reservations, excursions, massages and more. The staff was so pleasant and thought. I loved the indoor pool and decor. Carlos greeted us everyday with a smile and new insights about Cartenga. All I can say is wow and thank you for making my birthday so special! The breakfast was so delicious and the hotel is so peaceful. It truly is the perfect getaway. I recommend casa de alba for 5 stars! The canopy beds were so royal and the views and location is perfect in the old city. Thank you so much Carlos for everything!

Tatiana Linares Gonzalez: It is the most beautiful hotel I know in the walled city, full of small details that make the experience incredible
Janice Baldwin: This boutique hotel deserves even more than 5 stars! We rented the entire place for the 10 of us for one of my best friends 50th birthday! The food was amazing, the chef was wonderful. The staff was incredible ~ Carlos and Milton made sure everything was perfect. They kept us safe ~ and set up tour guides and reservations and even made sure we all made it back to the hotel safely. We laughed with them, and we hugged them. If you are ever in need of a wonderful place for a group or just a couple this place is perfect. We all fell in LOVE with Cartagena and we all want to go back already! ❤️❤️❤️
Miguel Acosta: THE BEST IS ITS PEOPLE.Excellent service from all its staff, reception, bar, kitchen, chambermaids... all very attentive and friendly, they strive to make you feel at home and help you in any way possible. The architecture is from an old house in excellent condition with a very warm and pleasant atmosphere, the rooms are pleasant and the bed is very comfortable to rest. It is inside the walled city close to everything. If we return to Cartagena we would stay here again.
Michael Sundholm: Wonderful hotel with terrific and attentive service. Antonio, Hernan, and Baker were all very helpful and professional.Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a beautiful view of the street or you could sit in a very well decorated eating area. The pool area is always kept clean, neat, and beautiful.Other guests were friendly and respectful. The pool on the rooftop was amazing!Whenever we had a question or needed any assistance we were always met with kind and patient persistence to get us where we needed to go, helped us secure cabs to a and from the airport and arranged a Covid test for us.The value definitely is amazing to stay at such a great hotel with excellent staff!
Ariadna: Estupendas instalaciones y atención recibida por todo el staff. Muy bien ubicado. Nos llevamos un buen recuerdo y ganas de repetir.
Diana Zapata: Antique houseRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sarah Cohen: The most incredible experience! Hernan and Milton made sure everything we needed was taken care of, booking restaurant reservations and even having snacks ready for us when we got back from a long boat day. Would recommend Casa de Alba to anyone I know traveling to Cartagena! Can’t wait to go back!!
Michele Cantelo: Since I can't reply to the hotels response, I'll set some details straight here:- The rate was $120 on our end, not sure what the $40 is, but $120 is very normal pricing for a nice hotel in Colombia. This can be confirmed through a simple Google search. I also have never felt the need to call hotels directly to confirm bookings when I have an email from a reputable company confirming it and have paid already. It's never been an issue before.- I absolutely wasn't screaming. I was too confused to even be angry in the moment. I have no idea where the "famous" traveler thing came from. This is completely fabricated and laughable.- They did not explain anything about not letting others in because a family was there. That's the main thing that I complain about in the review - the total lack of explanation and hospitality. From the moment they opened the door, they were unpleasant, even before knowing what we were there for or allowing us to speak. It wouldn't have cost them a thing for the staff member to be friendly.- We booked through Hotels.com, not Expedia. But, as I said, the mistake was seen across *all* websites, so it's not surprising the hotel has this detail confused.----We booked this hotel through Hotels.com and arrived yesterday only for their doorman to be extremely rude and not honor our reservation. They made a mistake in their pricing (across all websites - every website had this price, Booking, Trivago, etc.) and priced it lower than their actual rate. At the door, they were rude, didn't even apologize for their mistake, and acted as if *we"* had done something wrong. They didn't offer to let us into the lobby to correct the mistake (we could have paid the full price) or even just to have a place to sit while we found a new reservation. They just left us in the street with all of our bags and nowhere to go due their mistake (it couldn't have just been Hotels.com, as the price showed on EVERY website the same.) Even people on the street were shocked by how rude the man who worked there was. It's one thing for a logistical error to happen. It's another thing to have a total lack of hospitality, be totally rude, and leave people stranded. I've travelled 20+ countries and lived abroad for 4+ years and NEVER experienced this sort of thing.
Jesús Johan Villalobos G.: 👌🏽
Erick Cuellar: If I could give Casa de Alba more stars I would! Andres, Thomas, Baker, Hernan, and Antonio took the best care of us. The breakfast was delicious and prepared exactly at the time we asked. Baker made amazing drinks (ORDER THE PASSIONFRUIT MOJITO!) The rooms are spacious, super comfortable, and AC works well. Hernan helped us with transportation from and to the airport and our covid tests. At night Antonio served as our personal tour guide to get us around and ensure we didn't get lost. I didn't expect the level of attention my girlfriend and I received. We were sad to leave, but excited to plan another stay in the future with Casa de Alba. Thank you for an unforgettable time.
Franklin Manuel Diaz Muñoz: Es Fantástico, sueños hechos realidades.....unicos, pasión y realidad..
Ty Allred: I stayed here with friends over a long weekend and we each loved it. The entire hotel is super clean. The rooms are very unique and come with a solid A/C (essential in the humidity of Cartagena). The hotel has two pools which were great to cool off/hang out in at the end of the day. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to any request that arose. Breakfast in the second floor dining room each morning was fantastic. The location in central Old Town Cartagena also meant that all bars/restaurants were within walking distance.I would 100% stay here again.
Diego Ontaneda: Five stars. Casa de Alba is this gorgeous boutique hotel built in a historic house right in front of the cathedral in the old walled city.Location is unbeatable: You're walking distance from the best restaurants, clubs, cafés, and tourist spots in the old city.Class & décor: the owners have hand-picked everything you see in the hotel. the furniture, the art, the marble finishes... everything is tastefully chosen, and the collective impact is quite striking. The staff: the idea is that you will feel at home. The staff is professional and kind, and they add a lovely touch of human warmth to the experience.Food & drinks: top, top, top. You're welcomed with the best mojito (apparently the original recipe can be traced back to this house, which used to belong to Sir Francis Drake!). The in-house mixologist is a master, truly. And the meals were all delicious.Air conditioning! Don't take it for granted in the old city. And here you might actually freeze if you don't adjust it :)Do yourself a favor, and get this unique experience when in Cartagena!
Edgar Rafael Murillo Rodríguez: It is an excellent and exclusive place. Great attention; the variety of cocktails is excellent, as is the food.In addition, the staff is always very service minded. The space and atmosphere is crazy. It was a great experience.

Alexander Pinzon: DANGEROUS... UNRESPONSIBLE... I stayed in this hotel in May, my mother suffered an accident around the pool and this hotel does not have trained personnel, nor do they have any protocol for these cases. My mom fell silent and lost consciousness for a few minutes and the lifeguard who was nearby brought me a cream to spread. The lack of knowledge in an accident like this is noticeable, an ambulance was never called to immobilize her, I had to pick her up after she fell and take her to the hospital in a taxi. The result of the fall was 3 fractured ribs and a vertebra. So far I have not heard anything from the hotel or from the hotel insurance company. If you are looking for a safe site with a greater sense of responsibility. do not stay at the hilton in cartagena.

Beach chairs were always available.I got an upgrade to a sea view as a status member. The rooms are clean, modernly furnished, also well equipped for working.Breakfast very rich, especially with the local dishes you can try something new almost every day. Station for omelets and fresh juices.Executive Lounge open from 12pm-8pm with small snacks, fruit, lemonades and coffee maker and staffed 24 hours by 2 friendly staff. 6-8 p.m. there are small warm dishes, starters, desserts, beer, red wine and white wine. It wasn't overcrowded except for the weekend and has a very nice view. You can walk to several restaurants and bars and stroll through Bocagrande. I also felt safe in the evenings.

Dani Yidi: Hostels will always have good and bad. The rooms were cleaned everyday and other travelers were wonderful, they had activities and most of the staff was friendly. With the exception of a creepy (made me feel unsafe and was grabbing me by the wrist and followed me into the bathroom) bartender “Arnold/arny” and one rude older reception lady (didn’t remember her name) but the rest of staff was friendly and made the place great for a few days!
Débora Vidal: I loved my stay here! The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is clean and they have great activities everyday. If you’re ever here do yourself a favor and join their Pub Crawl, it was the best night of my stay in Cartagena!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Diana Pérez: Terrible experiencia, habitaciones poco agradables, mucho ruido, desaseo horrible, la atencion de recepcion y un hostal 0 tecnologico, terrible experiencia.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Jenny W: I really enjoyed staying here. The hostel hosts different events each night which makes it easy to meet people. Shout out to Mango for bringing the energy to all the organised activities! My only negative comment would be the A/C in the room doesn't necessarily reach the beds because of the way the beds are angled, so it can get warm at night.
Bia Cruz: My stay was amazing. VERY attentive staff, everyone treated me very well, with a smile on their face. If I go back to Cartagena I will definitely stay there. Every night there is an event, which provides a lot of interaction. I had a meat tostada that night delicious. The breakfast (paid, but cheap) was very good. The hostel was always clean. The capsules have a lot of privacy and guests are very respectful. I met many people from different places, it was an excellent experience. Stefy at the front desk helped me with a personal issue. Look, I don't even have anything to say about the employees😍. The hostel is to be congratulated, they should offer a hospitality course. I only found the closet difficult to access (under the bed), and the expensive beer 😝.Rooms: Capsule beds with privacy and under-bed lockers. It has hooks to hang your stuff.Nearby activities: There are activities inside the hostel that make interaction a lot easier. It is very close to the most famous sights in the walled city. The hostel has VIP entry to some parties.Safety: I felt safe in the city and in the hostel. Not really very safe. But I think it's more because they don't feel the need than because it's really insecure. There are cameras at the entrance and in the common areas. The entrance is controlled by an automatic gate and cameras. But many people circulate every day.Walkability: I did everything on foot inside the walled city and it was very easy. I would return at dawn alone from the rolê, without problems.Food & drinks: Expensive drink, but like that, nothing compared to sp for example. Sensational meat toast, and good breakfast with sandwich, pancakes, fruits (sweetest pineapple 🤤), juice, yogurt, granola, cornflakes, good strained coffeeNoteworthy details: The decoration of the hostel is a show apart. It's perfect. No hot shower. However, in the other hostel I stayed, it also didn't have it. The water comes out hot from the shower because it is very hot, it was over 33 degrees every day. I'm very annoying with showers, even in summer I take it hot. And I didn't miss a heated shower because the water came out warm and it was hot.
Matthew Gruber: Nice enough hostel. But very loud. People talking loudly outside rooms at all hours of the night.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Max Miller: Viajero was the BEST place we stayed! The staff is awesome, rooms are clean, and the pool and bar was amazing! Can not recommend this place enough!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Great value, High-tech …More
Natasha Gordon: Great hostel in a great location! Clean, quiet, and Esteffi at the front desk was super helpful and professional throughout. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and looked afterRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Fernando Martínez: I loved the place, super good location, the attention of the excellent staff, especially Carlos and Stephi who supported me at all times.
Jose Luis Chavez: I enjoyed the stay, rooms are clean, facilities are very nice and great vibes overall.Walkability: Great location
Daviko Daviko: Very clean and comfortable facilities, very good attention from Mango, to whom I send greetings, I hope to contact him soon since I had an accident and he has lent me a knee pad that I forgot to return, but soon I will send it to him from Mexico
Rimon Awad: Switched hostels in Cartagena during my stay because the first place was really small and boring. Viajero was definitely the better experience!! Specially thankful for the AC and Andres and Mango’s great kindness 🙏🏽
jennifer dehoyos: The place is spacious and has events every day. The people at the reception are super attentive, especially Lili! Thanks for EVERYTHING Lilly!
Brayan Alfonso: If you have the opportunity to stay in viajero cartagena ..DO IT the attention the vibe that you feel is unmatched, a perfect place to get out of the routine relax and meet people from all over the world .. excellent location in the heart of the walled city not I had the chance to eat there but it sure has to be delicious... I would go many more times

Bastión Luxury Hotel: what do users think?
erika samaniego: The rooms are beautiful. The pool looks so much bigger in the photos, in reality it was small and one family with kids can take all the space of it. However they have a lot of space to sit and sip some drinks at the rooftop. The staff was kind and helpful. We arrived very early and left late in the afternoon and were allowed to remain in the public areas of the hotel and they held our bags while we explored some more of the city.Rooms: Big and cozy, nice view from balcony and great showers.Nearby activities: So many good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Getsemani is about 15-20 mins away walking.
James Lammerding: Truly wonderful experience. Jorge was very welcoming and attentive to everything I needed during my stay. Front desk staff was very helpful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tim Cummings: Excellent hotel within easy walking/Uber distance to most sites/shopping/restaurants. Staff was great & most spoke some English which was helpful because of my limited Español.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
C Woods: Stayed here for 7 days. Rooms are big and comfy. Tile floors so bring your slippers. Bathrooms are nice size. Showers are great. They have nice products in the bathroom. They offer a nicebuffet breakfast in the restaurant but you can also get made to order breakfast. Lobby is nice to kick it and chill but depending on when you go, you might become a buffet for mosquitoes. There is a room next to the outdoor lobby area and it's comfy and a great place to hang out. The rooftop pool is amazing and the views from up there are phenomenal. Pool area is the perfect place to hang out and drink. Internet connection could be spotty at times but wasn't too bad. Front desk was very attentive to any of our needs. Staff was extremely accommodating. Nice hotel to stay at inside the Walled City.
Erica Chew: We spent 5 spectacular days there. The pool was great and the sunset views were stunning. Jorge gave great recommendations of things to do in town. Jordan helped find us reservations and hooked us up with a great walking tour with a local, Aura. Highly recommended. Only thing that I didn't like is they wouldn't heat up my leftovers. I had it in the fridge and was so excited to eat it the next morning but couldn't.Walkability: Great location. Everything in the old town was about 15 min walk max.
Craig R: Great location with full breakfast included. A full spa. A short walk to most parts of the city. Rooftop pool/bar with amazing service (Janner/Jorge are the best!). A quiet oasis away from the busy city below, with its own unobstructed sunset views.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
ANJLI SHAH: My husband and I stayed at Bastion for 4 nights. It is definitely not a “luxury” hotel for following reasons- as soon as we were allocated a room we realised the air conditioning unit was not working. The workmen did come and sort this out.We then realised our sink was getting clogged up and the water was not draining. This caused a sewage smell in the bathroom. We did let the manager know about this and he assured us it would be dealt with whilst we were sight seeing. Nothing seemed to be sorted. After 2 nights of sleeping in this room and finally making a fuss at reception they did change our room as they said the sink problem could not be sorted. However the second room we were allocated had a broken toilet roll holder, broken tiles on the bathroom floor, the shower wasn't draining quick enough hence was overflowing, the room telephone wasn't working. We did complain to the manager but he didn't seem to be too bothered. The room was definitely not fit to be allocated to a guest.- Breakfast was mediocre for a 'luxury' hotel! There were insects (fruit flies) all over the fresh fruit and the staff didn't seem to be bothered by it.The hotel is in a good location, slightly away from all the hustle and bustle but yet close enough. However I would recommend other hotels in the vicinity which are probably cheaper but have better service and rooms.
Maria Hernandez: 10/10 I would definitely come back and enjoy it again. From the decor to the service every details is thought to make it specialFood & drinks: The ceviche is amazing
Laura Patricia Támara Muñoz: Excellent service and attention. We marriedIn the Santo Toribio church, and arrive walking to the church. Very convenient they decorated the room on the wedding night and they were very special
René Francisco Torres Jugo: The hotel is excellent to spend a few days and get to know Cartagena from the walled city. It is very well located. The hotel is not ostentatious luxury, very nice to relax in a quiet environment. The staff is very polite and oriented to make things easier. The truth is that it is a characteristic of Cartagena, everyone is very helpful and cheerful.
Mo Gourrier: We had a great room next to the courtyard! The pool upstairs was wonderful with a bar and plenty of seating. The gentleman serving us by the pool was very friendly as well! The food and drinks were amazing.

Selina Cartagena & Coworking Space: what do users think?
MUJICA REYES: The best hostel!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Shawn Mahoney: Very fun spot to stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Evan Huang: Rude front desk staff. Bathroom super dirty all the time, water smells weird so the entire room smells horrible 24/7. Many of the beds had extremely bloody sheets, pictures attached. The big pool in the other building was closed my whole stay. The other reviews about the absurdly loud music are correct, they play music so insanely loudly on the roof for some reason. If there was some kind of event going on I could understand, but the music is like this all of the time. It is so loud that it’s impossible to just chill by the pool or even talk to someone. No social vibe at all, filled with older people working which is kind of expected at a Selina. My room was filled with Israelis who would wake up at 9am and start yelling to eachother. Overall horrible experience, and definitely not up to the Selina quality standard.
Alex DeCapri: Avoid this Selina. I should have read the reviews before booking.I've worked at various hostels and traveled for years in hostels. I've stayed at two other Selinas that were ok. This Selina is the WORST hostel experience I've ever had in my life. Book somewhere else.---When we arrived at 6pm after a 14-hour travel day, their reservation system was down and they told us to just wait. They didn't do anything or offer anything in the meantime. We just wanted to shower, so I had them grab a few towels for us. I've worked in a couple of hostels during my travel days, and the least you can do is greet people and welcome them with some water or a dang towel when things aren't working. They were, however, super concerned about me paying, even though they couldn't get us to a room for over 1.5 hours. 😂We stayed in a Micro room with a shared bathroom. Luckily, we didn't have mold or bed bugs, like other reviews have shared... but the room was super humid and dank. No fans or circulation other than the AC, which would have been fine...But part of the city lost power and Selina's generator isn't powerful enough for the building. No lights or AC (or any way to circulate the air) from 2am-7am. I went down to reception four times during these hours to get updates and ask for a different room. There were other rooms where the elctricty was working. Ours wasn't. They refused to move us. We only were able to sleep from 7-11am, missing our included breakfast, so we had to go buy breakfast somewhere else.Half of the people at reception are always in a bad mood, stressed, and as if they can't be bothered. When I went to buy a water, the guy just shoved the card reader towards me without speaking. When the "tap" didn't work, he just shoved it closer to my face to show my it was refused. Didn't offer to try the chip. I feel like I had to guide everyone at reception to help them do their job better. Zero customer service skills, and it's not a language barrier.Upon check out, I told them we wanted a discount on the first night, as we didn't get anything we paid for. We couldn't sleep. We didn't get AC or power. We weren't allowed into our rooms until 7:30pm. Nothing went well. They refused and only offered a 10% discount after 15 minutes of conversation. Said their manager was in a meeting and they had to charge me.For $40 USD/night for a tiny, humid jail cell where the door brushes against the bed when you open it, this place is a total scam.Nobody ever responded to our WhatsApp messages either. It’s linked in the Selina app but nobody bothers to get back to you.-Bathrooms are moldy and not clean (no circulation or fans).-Toilet paper regularly ran out (shared bathroom) and nobody refilled, so I went to get some.-Music is obnoxiously loud in the lobby at early hours and all day at the pool. If you are a light sleeper, good luck. The only good thing is the food at the restaurant is actually pretty good and has some vegan options, just a bit pricy.
No: Good location and the roof top and entrance are very nice but the rooms are actual hell. Covered in mold and I woke up with bug bites. The rooms are so moldy it made my throat hurt.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
David Pomar: Very nice, an incredible view, some prices are affordable, others are a bit high, especially the drinks
Catalina Lozano Torrado: La atención en el restaurante no fue la mejor, no tiene muchas opciones de platos y los costos son un poco altos relación calidad/precio.(Translated by Google
Damian Dormer: Great location near old town with rooftop pool for sunset drinks (but very expensive 30000+ for a g&t, slow). Polite & helpful security.Room (A118) was average at best. Shower alternated between too hot & too cold ever 10 seconds, didn't drain fast enough, and needed constant ventilation to avoid the whole room smelling ultra-dank. Bed on it's last legs. Loud drunk dorm neighbours downstairs between 3&4am despite quiet curfew.Reception staff are a mix of rude (young man with short hair) & fun (the others!).The included breakfast - small, dry powdery scrambled eggs.Place could be much better if they had reasonably priced drinks & good service, both rooftops people were usually scarce, probably because it's much easier to find a good experience elsewhere. After the welcome drink it's like yeah nah.Perhaps the other Selina locations are better?
Arturo Cerda: The bathroom was very dirty, the kitchen too, the floor was stained and with a paint that came off when walking, the air conditioning broke down and they couldn't fix it. I do not recommend it at all.
Blink: Very bad service, and the rooms are disgusting. First they give me one full of insects, I asked for the change, they didn't want to change it, after a long time of waiting they give me another one, drops of water were falling everywhere, in the end I ended up in the lobby again asking for a refund, supposedly the Manager was not there and they did not refund me anything. one of my worst experiences in that hotel. I paid $600 for 3 days, I had to go to another hotel.
Corinne B: Very good hostel with clean facilities, beautiful pools (yes, there are 2), good food offer, fun bar and a very broad offer of tours and services like laundry. There's even a café at the back and yoga classes in the morning. Seems like they thought of everything. The showers have hot water and good pressure. Thank you for your hospitality.
A Quevedo: Great location, low budget all you need in one placeRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Jordan George: Pros:The location. Walking distance from the clock tower. But also walking distance to a lot of the old town. The welcome drink was wonderful. There are two buildings. Building A, the building with reception, has two locations to get food from which were good and the staff were nice. The rooftop view is amazing.I appreciated the lockers in the room we got. The first room did not have them.We booked a Rosario island excursion through Selina’s activity booking system. It was a fun experience. And I believe it was cheaper as well compared to going through TripAdvisor. The coworking space was great. Wifi speeds as well as a developer. Zoom was occasionally unstable. Most of the reception staff was friendly. An aesthetically pleasing place when not paying attention to details.Cons:My partner and I had a private room with a shared bathroom. The cleaning staff cleaned the bathroom everyday but it was more like straightening up instead of actually decently cleaning. The toilet and sink for example kept the same amount of gunk on them. But when the shower drain started to clog they did help with getting it to drain properly. The coworking restroom could be cleaned a lot better. I tried to avoid touching the walls. More toilet paper could be provided as it frequently ran out. Sometimes the water wasn’t running in this restroom. The trash bin was not conducive to putting toilet paper there while using the toilet. When we first got there we were put in a room that was hard to breathe in. We felt like it had something to do with mold. We saw that the AC unit was dripping and covered in a black substance which we assumed was mold. We were thankfully moved to another room.It looked like a lot of mold was covered with paint and there was no proper ventilation to really prevent it in the bathrooms. One day we saw some staff inspecting a bed that looked like it had bed bug blood stains on them near our room so that caused some anxiety.
