J. Che: Very solid instructors. My partner and I came to get a lesson and don’t speak Spanish. There is one instructor (and the owner) Juan who gave us our lesson in English. While we were waiting for Juan to finish another lesson, we saw how friendly and helpful the other instructors were here. Everyone was having a good time and jamming.They provide sunscreen if you don’t have any.We’ve never kitesurfed before and it’s important to note that if you do a short lesson like us, you won’t be getting on a board to do it yourself. It’s actually very technical and so they need to teach you the safety aspects and basics first. You do get to trial your control of the kite in the water, but you likely won’t be going off on your own like another sport.My partner was able to get a second instructor at the end that managed to take him out in the water and tandem-kite it without a board (ie zip around with the instructor and had a good time!)Also note, kitesurfing is tiring on the neck!

Chaz Dee: Un museo muy espectacular para ver. Nunca he visto tan hermosas esmeraldas en formas y entornos tan exquisitos. Además, no conocía la joya de tanta abundancia en Colombia. Esto está dentro de la ciudad amurallada, así que asegúrate de tener buenos zapatos para caminar y de unos pesos, ya que no noté muchos cajeros automáticos en la noche. Un montón de comida y bebida en todas las direcciones. El museo no es caro y es muy informativo. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Scott Onuczko: We stumbled upon this place as we were visiting the old city and found the salesperson who helped us very patient, accommodating and helpful. She quickly ascertained our budget and then showed us several different options within it. She wasn’t aggressive or judgemental, like some of the other salespeople in the other emerald stores that we visited. We had a pleasant experience buying from here and would recommend this place.
