Stefan L: Schönes pub mit vielen tollen Details an den Wänden. Es gibt diverse frisch gezapfte Biere und Flaschenbiere, zudem gibt es verschiedene Snacks und Speisen. Das Essen sah sehr lecker aus. Die Getränke kamen schnell und das Personal war trotz des sehr großen Andrangs (Kolumbienspiel) immer freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam.Es gibt genügend Fernseher sodass man von überall das Spiel verfolgen konnte.

Jamie Houten: Cool looking bar with a nice outdoor area out the back with cool murals on the walls. We went for a quick drink one afternoon.The drinks weren’t that quick and compared to some places, are quite expensive. I ordered a mojito and was told it was happy hour so buy one, get on free. They only brought out the one mojito out with the other drinks and then asked if I wanted the second one when everyone was ready to go. Not exactly a great offer 🙄.It’s an alright place but there are better places in the area.

Lisa Fan: My friends and I had drinks at El Arsenal: The Rum Box while visiting Cartagena and we had a wonderful experience! The rum and cocktails were both amazing, and the atmosphere was nice and intimate (and not too loud). Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond to provide good service, even giving us multiple food and drink items on the house (rum, chocolate, peppers to snack on). Would highly recommend visiting!

Gregory Medeiros: We visited El Arsenal for late-night drinks and had a wonderful experience. Our server Rolo was patient and walked us through the menu, recommending items based on flavors we enjoy. They also treated us to a free rum and chocolate as well as shishito peppers - above and beyond service.
erika samaniego: I loved this restaurant so much. I made a reservation online and they had a table with my name on a led light cinema box (I think that’s what those are called?). We also received two rounds of free shots of their own rum with little pieces of chocolate and explained to us where the rum came from and why it tastes better with the chocolate. The servers were the sweetest!!I think they also gave us a complimentary sweet pepper, I was so drunk I can’t really remember.

Upon getting started Joel offered us a complimentary rum tasting which was great and paired with a bite of chocolate.My wife and I got some appetizers, fried green tomatoes for her and carimañolas de queso for me, which were delicious. We got some cocktails that were all tasty and rum-based. For the main course I got the grilled chicken breast with mushrooms in a mushroom sauce with fries and sauteed sliced veggies which was amazing. I don't know what they do to cook the chicken, but it was perfectly juicy and the sauce was next level. My wife ordered the Lomito Caribeño, a steak based dish, which was also good; the chicken with mushrooms was the star for sure, my wife wanted to steal my dish.Afterwards Olga gave us a complimentary tasting of another aged rum paired with a high cacao percentage chocolate; the tasting was delicious and the pairing worked very well.This place is well worth multiple visits. The food and drinks are top notch and service from Olga and Joel was top class as well.

Harsh S: MAJOR SCAM WARNINGI hate leaving bad reviews but I got here looking for for friends and some guys started hassling me outside. They said I was in their territory and couldn’t walk there. I went inside with my friends to avoid them for an hour and when I tried to leave, they had a sentry outside waiting for me to leave so they could surround me again and ask for money.The worst part? I asked the security guard and manager for help and to call the police (it was 11pm and still busy) and they just laughed and said they couldn’t do anything. This is a scam that I believe they’re all working on together - I wasn’t drunk or doing anything stupid, just going to a bar where my friends were at.Horrible, horrible bar and maybe the scariest experience I’ve had as an American even though I didn’t do anything wrong. Do not go here.

Great for impressing those business clients who want to let loose and have some good old fun. The hookahs are great and they offer a variety of flavors, definitely worth checking out for a business after party or with friends.
