Shagun Mohan: Very underwhelmed considering it is #10 best bar in the world. Significant lack of cocktails presentation and taste. The drinks are good, but not amazing. We had high hopes for this place based on their ranking but this bar fell significantly short.
Hjortur Hjartarson: The dress code is ridiculous, overhyped. Security is on a power trip. Only one selection of beer . I have had more selection of beers and better bar service at McDonald's. Tourist trap.

Suelen Moscardi: Lugar lindo e incrível, atendimento péssimo, pessoal com muita má vontade, coquetel bem mediano eu de fato não entendi pq esta entre os melhores. Se for pelo lugar até vale, o conjunto infelizmente foi muito frustrante. Fomos em 3 pessoas, todos trabalham ou já trabalharam com coquetelaria, tomamos 3 coquetéis e fomos embora pq o serviço não nos estimulou a ficar.

Andreas Ramsauer: Tried to make a reservation, which was not possible as they do not reserve any seats. As a couple in our 40s we were guided to the Bar, even as there were no free seats, so we had to stand for more than an hour. Several - tiny - tables were free. When i asked for a table i was informiered that they hold it for larger groups (who never showed up within the hour we stayed). The Drinks were not mixed fresh but ready Mixed and kept in plastic Containers in the fridge.I have been working in Tourism for more than 25 years and visited the best Bars worldwide. This Bar ist clearly not among them, in fact there are even better Bars in Cartagena. Overall just a Tourist Trap, serving Drinks below average with bad service…

Obvio el mirador a la altura del reloj es lo mas lindo.Es difícil disfrutar de la música si te sientas en las barras que bordean restaurante ya que escucharás la música de los vecinos más que la del propio lugar.Las calificaciones son pedidas y supervisadas por el personal. Te sientes un poco en compromiso de poner algo bueno pues hasta una foto de tu review te piden. Sin embargo, hay pocas cosas malas que decir.En el piso justo debajo del mirador hay un pequeño bar con aire acondicionado y dj que se está muy bien, en caso de querer refrescarte.

Lisa Fan: My friends and I had drinks at El Arsenal: The Rum Box while visiting Cartagena and we had a wonderful experience! The rum and cocktails were both amazing, and the atmosphere was nice and intimate (and not too loud). Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond to provide good service, even giving us multiple food and drink items on the house (rum, chocolate, peppers to snack on). Would highly recommend visiting!

Gregory Medeiros: We visited El Arsenal for late-night drinks and had a wonderful experience. Our server Rolo was patient and walked us through the menu, recommending items based on flavors we enjoy. They also treated us to a free rum and chocolate as well as shishito peppers - above and beyond service.
erika samaniego: I loved this restaurant so much. I made a reservation online and they had a table with my name on a led light cinema box (I think that’s what those are called?). We also received two rounds of free shots of their own rum with little pieces of chocolate and explained to us where the rum came from and why it tastes better with the chocolate. The servers were the sweetest!!I think they also gave us a complimentary sweet pepper, I was so drunk I can’t really remember.

Upon getting started Joel offered us a complimentary rum tasting which was great and paired with a bite of chocolate.My wife and I got some appetizers, fried green tomatoes for her and carimañolas de queso for me, which were delicious. We got some cocktails that were all tasty and rum-based. For the main course I got the grilled chicken breast with mushrooms in a mushroom sauce with fries and sauteed sliced veggies which was amazing. I don't know what they do to cook the chicken, but it was perfectly juicy and the sauce was next level. My wife ordered the Lomito Caribeño, a steak based dish, which was also good; the chicken with mushrooms was the star for sure, my wife wanted to steal my dish.Afterwards Olga gave us a complimentary tasting of another aged rum paired with a high cacao percentage chocolate; the tasting was delicious and the pairing worked very well.This place is well worth multiple visits. The food and drinks are top notch and service from Olga and Joel was top class as well.

William Tang: I stumbled onto this place while sightseeing in Old Town Cartagena. It's a tiny dive-bar with the tastiest drinks I've had! I've travelled to many countries and tried out hundreds of different bars. This one takes the cake. My favorite drink here is the "Rosarito." It is arguably the best cocktail i've had!The staff is super accommodating and the drinks are sublime.
Anthony Edwards: One of the best bars in the world. Incredible drinks and service. For me, this is a "must visit" if you're in Cartagena. Cocktails while sitting outside in the plaza is a great way to spend your evening before or after dinner. I've also enjoyed breakfast/brunch here.

Joshua Williams: I highly recommend take this class if you are looking for things to do in Cartagena! We stayed in the city for 4 days and this was my favorite part of the trip. You get the opportunity to learn about dishes from Colombia and where their influences come from. Jasmine is knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with you. The class is also a great opportunity to get to meet, cook with, and have a meal with new people who are also enjoying the city.
Sujay PS: Fantastic view , service and tasty food ! You can see Castillo de San Felipe sitting inside the AC room after walking in the hot weather outside. The servers are friendly and tasty food. What we ordered was vegetarian but there are a lot of seafood and Meat options as well. Overall highly recommend!
