Raul Rodriguez: The house is amazing!! I highly recommend this place. It's centrally located in the old city of Cartagena with wonderful amenities (e.g., hot water, AC, pool, rooftop). The staff is awesome. House is super clean, they made us drinks, cooked, and ironed. Big shoutout to the onsite manager, Alfredo! He made sure we had everything we needed. Gracias Alfredo!
Jay Ospina: We had an excellent stay. The place was maintained extremely well and was very clean and neat. Working with Hannia was a joy, she responded quickly and helped us with several activities. Alfredo was amazing, he made our stay so comfortable, and he really took good care of us by going above and beyond what we needed. Before we knew we needed something, Alfredo was 2 steps ahead of us. Danny Abrego: Great service and wonderful staff and the best location !The staff prepares a wonderful breakfast every morning .We loved our stay at Casa Maria. There was 10 of us in our group visiting Cartagena for the first time and we loved where we stayed. We were close to anything you could want. The home was very nice, bedrooms had air conditioning, your own bathroom and comfortable beds.Alfredo the house manager is incredible and goes above and beyond in making sure that you are very comfortable . He can arrange tours, knows people with boats, takes you to exchange currency.We would definitely return.Habitaciones: Rooms had air conditioning and very comfortable beds with your own bathroom.Posibilidad de caminar: Location, location location !You’re in the middle of everything 1 minute from the plaza ( town square).

Since many of the 11 guests traveled for the first time from the USA to Colombia, we had many questions about our visit. Hannia, the administrator, was always helpful and timely about answering all of them promptly.2. The house was attractive, clean and cozy. The 5 spacious bedrooms were all the same size and each had its own bathroom and safe deposit box.3. The temps in Cartagena are tropical so we appreciated the fully functioning air conditioners in the 5 bedrooms. The common areas had ceilings fan, there was a small swimming pool.and a full size kitchen.4. The service and attention were superb! Don Alfredo, the Butler, was professional, kind, friendly and attentive to all our needs. They even washed and folded our clothes.5. We had a delicious full breakfast each morning.6. Hannia and Don Alfredo helped me by renting tables and chairs to accommodate 25 wedding guests for a lovely, typical Colombian dinner where we fit perfectly in the dining/living room area.7. Plan your next visit to Casa Maria in Cartagena and you will be pleasantly welcomed!

Betty Gerdts: We stayed over the weekend with a group of co-workers . We each stayed in a room and we all agreed that our rooms were cleaned and sheets smelled so good. Service was superb, Alfredo was ALWAYS very attentive and ready. Geovanny & Piedad were great too, breakfast was awesome especially las arepas de huevo y carne 😋 . The location was perfect, in the middle of EVERYTHING. A must come back with family.

Lina Atehortua: Casa Maria was exactly what I dreamed about a stay in a Colonial home in the walled city. Impecable social áreas, beautiful pool, bedrooms and bathrooms gorgeously decorated. The beds and pillows were extremely comfy, top quality.And then Alfredo, Geo & Piedad pampered us 7 ladies like queens; delicious breakfasts, every need we had was met, from groceries shopping, recommendations, little errands, home hairdresser and more. Alfredo, the sweetest person on earth, was available 24/7, always attentive to any need or wish. I want to repeat please. Gracias Alfredo, nos vemos pronto.
Christy Hickey: Casa Maria is a great house in the center of the city. The bedrooms are spread out and private from one another. The terraces, living and dining area are great to spend time together. Alfredo is amazing and made our trip so easy. He is at the house 24/7 and attentive to all our needs. Geo and Piedad made amazing breakfasts for our group every morning and had the house cleaned from top to bottom daily. The pool in the center is a great place to gather and cool off. Everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend.

LAGARDSERVICE CIA LTDA: Pagamos el anticipo para full house en casa pombo, más de 6000 dólares. Debido a la pandemia no pudimos realizar el evento y no recibimos respuesta para que nos devuelvan ese anticipo o nos dejen usar el valor pagado en habitaciones. No hay razón para su falta de atención, además nos toca rogar para que nos respondan y no hay nadie que se haga cargo del tema. Un servicio muy deficiente.

Heck Master (hecker is awesome): Muy único, creo que tiene 4-5 habitaciones (muy pequeñas), pero se ve, pero por dentro, el techo es tan alto, tan frío, pero excelente, hay una sala común como dicen, como Harry Potter en el piso de arriba y muy seguro.

Prior to arriving, Leyla, one of the great staff there corresponded with me about all the questions and requests that we had. She gave the experience of a 5 star hotel.Through the hotel, we were able to arrange for a car service to meet us and drop us off at the property. It was such a welcoming experience. The location, to me is perfect as it gave such a quiet reprieve from the busyness of the streets. It felt like our own private oasis. The accommodation is a great juxtaposition of modern and old. We enjoyed the breakfast daily- it felt like we had a private chef cooking for us. Absolutely loved everything about this property.

Peter K: The hotel was a good place to stay overall & the location is perfect. It's not in the "loud" area. They helped us arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel and charged us $60 pesos, and we found out it only costs $20-25 pesos to get a taxi from the airport. I guess that's the tourists price. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff were very friendly.

Max Rivers II: The customer service here was absolutely amazing. The entire staff, though not very large, was very accommodating to our needs. Jhan Carlos was excellent. He helped book restaurant reservations, excursions and the COVID test. The hotel is a boutique hotel with about 7-8 rooms, but I enjoyed the intimacy of the space. The location was great too. Breakfast was included in the rate, and they made the food fresh in the kitchen not far from the seating area. To enter the hotel, you have to knock on the door and someone will let you in. This tactic helps keep those passing by from just walking inside. If I return to Columbia, I will for sure stay at this hotel.
