They had a fair amount of local wildlife and a 6 area to buy souvenirs and the likeWhile sitting down at the Juan Valdez coffee shop, a monkey came over and wanted to share my iced coffee. The souvenirs were a great price. The coffee was similarly priced to what I would expect in the USA.
Tom Shott: Nice free stop and easy walk from the cruise ships. The experience is full of all kinds of wildlife in an open zoo format. It's very clean as attendants are keeping it picked up. The gift shop is very clean and air conditioned. Prices are reasonable. Have Fun!

UNBEDINGT den kleinen Park in der Nähe des Anlieger besuchen. Dort sind unzählige Papageien, Affen und andere frei lebende Tiere. Echt super und so haben wir das noch nie irgendwo anders auf der Welt gesehen.
Mathias S.: Der Hafen ist Top! Beim Verlassen des Hafens wird man durch einen Zoo mit freilaufenden Papageien, Pfauen und Affen Geführt. ABER ACHTUNG DIE WECHSELSTUBE NIMMT 20% PROVISION. Hier besser kein Geld wechseln!

Suzana Funk: Forte San Sebastián del Pastelillo foi uma fortaleza militar que foi construída na época colonial de Cartagena. Seu nome se dá porque sua forma se parece com um pastel. Situa-se fora do centro histórico. Foi um lugar que foi construído para proteger a cidade de ataques de navios piratas. Possui 31 canhões. É um local pequeno e não tinha muitos visitantes quando fomos (não é um dos pontos mais famosos). Tivemos a sorte de visitar este local pois o taxista o Senhor Dimas, que também foi o nosso guia neste dia, foi passando por vários lugares chave, e um deles foi esse. Estavamos a caminho do Convento de la Popa. Achei um charme a vista para a Marina, e para uma parte da cidade com prédios, rendeu lindas fotos. É uma visita rápida que no máximo deu 20 minutos. Basicamente é uma parada no caminho para conhecer e fazer fotos. Da pra entrar lá dentro com o carro. É super ensolarado sem lugar com sombra. Não foi cobrado ingresso. Ao lado tem um restaurante café.

Mario Marín: Viceroy Sebastián de Eslava ordered the construction of the fort. Construction began in 1741 and was completed in 1744 under the administration of the military engineer Juan Bautista Mac-Evan and the collaboration of the engineer Carlos DDesnaux. The fort is named "San Sebastián" in honor of Viceroy Sebastían de Eslava, and "Pastelillo" because the structure of the fort resembles a cake. The fort was designed to protect the city from attacks by pirate ships as well as to prevent smuggling of goods. In 1943, President Eduardo Santos Montejo transferred ownership of the fort to the Club de Pesca de Cartagena. In 1972, the fort was renovated by architect Juan Manuel ZZapatero In 2021, the Ministry of Culture ordered the Cartagena Fishing Club to repair the fort after the Club proceeded to paint the structure without any architectural or heritage care, which caused serious damage to it. The Attorney General's Office asked the mayor of Cartagena, William Dau, to prevent damage to the fortress.
