Keyla Martelo: This place has a lot of mosquitoes under the tables, the attention of the servers was very good, but the food was lousy, and they charge exaggeratedly for drinks, especially water.
Michael Jeffreys: I really wanted to like this place because we were so hungry, but I am so disappointed! Where do I begin… First of all we got completely annihilated by mosquitoes under our table which was a bit traumatizing. They did offer us some repellent but that didn’t help too much. They gave us some fresh bread which was really good, but the butter that came with it was way too sweet. Olive oil or plain butter would have been much preferred. As an appetizer, we ordered eggplant Parmesan but because they don’t know how to do it right, the eggplant had that bitter taste. There’s a simple technique to get rid of that using salt before cooking it. Next, we had the ravioli with Pomodoro sauce which was pretty good. The other plate we had was risotto with Alfredo sauce and it was terrible! We hardly ate any of it because it just tasted like rice with a mediocre cream sauce. But here’s the kicker that really hurt… They charged 14,000 pesos for a bottle of water! That’s absolutely ridiculous! There are several restaurants in town that give you a complete delicious lunch with a beverage for that price. I recommend avoiding this place and looking for something far better.

Narek Dshkhunyan: What a lovely hidden gem! On the edge of the walled town (but just steps away from the iconic Cafe del Mar), this might be the most well-kept secret of Cartagena! They have a beautiful and spacious garden area perfect for dates or family gatherings, and the band played great local and Latin music all night long, not the incessant party music of Cartagena restaurants. El ambiente era acogedor y me sentí cómodo desde el primer momento. El menú ofrecía una amplia variedad de platos italianos auténticos, pero mi elección fue clara: tenía que probar su carbonara.Cuando llegó mi plato, quedé fascinado por la presentación. La carbonara estaba perfectamente cocida y tenía la cantidad justa de salsa cremosa. Cada bocado era simplemente delicioso. La pasta estaba al dente y se mezclaba a la perfección con el cachete crujiente y los huevos. El sabor era auténtico y sabroso, recordándome a las carbonaras que he probado en Italia.Además de la carbonara, también probé de la mesa de mi padre la lasagna. La pasta fresca, las salsas caseras y los ingredientes de calidad eran evidentes en cada plato.El servicio en Don Ignazio fue excelente. Los camareros fueron atentos y conocedores de los platos que servían. También estaban dispuestos a brindar recomendaciones y responder a cualquier pregunta que tenía sobre el menú.En resumen, mi experiencia en el restaurante Don Ignazio fue excepcional. La carbonara que probé fue una de las mejores que he comido fuera de Italia. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar a todos los amantes de la comida italiana en Cartagena de Indias. MONICA MARIA CORREA: Una intención de restaurante buena con un mal resultado. La calidad de la comida es pobre. Los precios excesivamente altos. La carta incompleta. Si a alguien no le gusta la pasta no hay alternativas. Un solo segundo plato:chorizo… sin otras alternativas. Eramos en la mesa 4 personas y el tiempo de servir entre el primero y el cuarto plato fue de casi 5 minutos. Con el aire acondicionado se nos enfrió la comida a todos. El servicio fue standard. Por costo/resultado no lo recomiendo. Pienso que para pastas en Cartagena hay mejores alternativas y menos costosas. Muchas oportunidades de mejora.

Vanne Narvaez: It is located on the top floor of the Boca Grande shopping center, it is a nice space although small, the food is delicious, the specialty is Italian food, they have good wines and fresh fruit drinks, I recommend the biche mango lemonade, something that I love Slightly disappointed was that the veg options were very few, however I settled on a salad.
