Aurimar Duran: Lousy lousy lousy attention! The worst service I received in Cartagena, it hurts that a place with such a beautiful view has such attention. We asked for a song to sing birthdays and they didn't allow it because they only listen to electronic music, we were a group of more than 15 adult people to celebrate the birthday of a 60-year-old person. The hostess did not want to allow us to enter because they already wanted to close the premises and their closing time was in 3 hours!I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!It goes without saying that I would never return to this place...I would like to add that I do not recommend any dish, much less the beer that was super hot!

Aquiles Rodríguez: A beautiful space but its extremely rude workers, not only do they not want to attend to you but they show it to you, surely the owner has no idea how badly they serve. The most expensive beer in Cartagena and hot! Unfortunately I do not recommend it and I will never return

Lady Bello: The reason why I’m putting 5 stars is because the food is sooo delicious yum yum and where the restaurant is located the is amazing. The bad part is the communication in that restaurant. If you go on google maps search up the restaurant and try to call that restaurant the number bad it doesn’t go through. I tried sooo many times I had to go to another restaurant and ask for help. That restaurant needs to adjust the number as to why they haven’t is a mystery. Once I was able to successfully make the reservations a few hours later I called to make sure my reservations was ok and then I called again the second day just make sure, call me crazy I just like to make sure everything was okay. As soon as I got there they didn’t see my reservations 🤯!!! I had to get loud and rude to the put that they called in the manager and I told the manager this is a mess on how you handle the reservations. Yeah you can also do the reservations online but I believe in doing things myself and or in person. The manager let me in because I gave him all proof that I tried calling to make a reservation and everything. We sat the table that we picked. WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR for our server to come to us. Another serve saw us tried to help and she noticed that our actual serve never came up to us. She decided to help I was soo angry on how the manager miss manages his personal. The server who help us was soo sweet to us. I left her a tip and she said that there’s a new law in Colombia that because the restaurants are paying the servers well the customers aren’t allowed to tip us. I believe alll restaurantes should follow this example.

thalia vargas: The food is delicious, although there is little variety on the menu and the dishes always arrive cold, but since each delivery takes so long, it is preferable to leave it that way, the service is good but very slow. Daniel Prieto Gomez: Los chicos que atendían en su voluntariado (Daniel - Juliana - Patrícia) te reciben como un amigo más, son muy amables y queridos... Pero por parte de infraestructura el hostal está bastante desmejorado talvez por dificultades económicas de pandemia para relación calidad precio de 26mil pesos esta bien pero ya más caro mmm, no hay casi utensilios de cocina, la nevera esta descuidada, espejos rotos, pintura pelada en varios sitios, las cortinas de los baños podría ser más estético colocar un tubo de metal pero un palo de escoba?... Su ubicación y personal perfecto pero la estructura si es recomendable un ajuste hay demasiada basura en el techo contiguo, incluso algunas tablas de cama tenían puntillas oxidadas salidas, eso es peligroso para el huésped porfavor!!!
Brian A.: The worst kind of catfish.While the price might be enticing, the savings is not worth the horror. “Under new management” must be code for abandoned for several months. From ripped mattresses, odors of damp and old furniture, rusty lockers, door handles that are literally detached, and a toilet that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in over 10 years... just like the hostel itself. A budget hotel does not need to be synonymous with filthy and unkempt. Additionally, I’m not sure why this is labeled an LGBT hotel? There isn’t anything more inclusive about this establishment than any other hostel around. Cartagena has plenty of hostels that are beautiful for just $5 USD more.

Alex Tsai: 2nd floor walk up with 2 bathrooms, 3 dorms and 1 private room. One of the dorm rooms is right in the common area so that could be a bit loud at times. There's laundry service and lockers in the dorm rooms. Wifi is great in the common area but in the rooms further away, the connection is a bit choppy. The facility overall is very basic, but everything was working fine. What makes this place truly phenomenal was the people: The staff are super helpful and welcoming; they organize events and actually hang out / chat with the guests. Other travelers hangout at the common area often and you can easily talk to others there. One thing to note, it's cash only!

jason porter: Unless you like smoking and have no interest in hygiene. The room was dirty. Used sheets, water bottles and bags of clothes ( not belonging to any of the people in the dorm) in the room. Sheets were stained, pillows and mattresses in desperate need of replacing. The bathroom smelt of urine and the Sink was falling off the wall. The kitchen was a health hazard as were most of the electrical sockets. But if none of that matters to you, the staff ( also the owners) are nice and the location is great for the old town.

Danny K: This is a tough one for me. The hotel seems like a nice little boutique hotel, however, we visited for a Sunday brunch. Apparently, the best feature is the rooftop, and unfortunately, brunch was inside due to some rain. Small and cozy restaurant space, however, the music was WAY too loud! Service started off great, but went downhill quite quickly. The brunch is done in a tapas style, which is quite unique and was enjoyable. Food was very good, however, it took quite some time to come out. Overall, I’d definitely go again, but only if the rooftop is open. There’s no way I could sit through a meal again with the volume they played the music. Hopefully service improves for the next time too.

Gabrielle Marie: While I did not stay at Townhouse, my husband and I enjoyed their rooftop bar one evening when we were in Cartagena. This was one of our favorite places for cocktails and nachos! Everything is very well priced, the atmosphere is super trendy, and the nachos are probably some of the best I have ever had. The rooftop over looks the city, so do yourself a favor by ordering a drink and some apps while watching the sunset. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Biotech Tecnolog: The place is very nice, nice, spectacular view, but the food is terrible, the drinks are watered down and only pure sweet.I only recommend visiting it for the incredible views of the rest, it is not worth it.

valeria jaque: The place has armchairs and tables arranged throughout the sector, a stage where the music is extremely loud for what corresponds to the environment, the music is so loud that you cannot hear your companion unless they are spoken in the ear, the people were on the cell phone all the time, those who danced were for a song and then they sat down, the drinks were lousy! One of the worst I've had, my partner's the same, the food was normal, not exceptional or good, the price/quality ratio does not correspond, the attention of the waiters is very friendly! The viewpoint to the city is unique but with the other low points above my experience was terrible!

They made us order at the bar when the rest were served at the table. The cocktails were completed with only ice.

Best of all is the kindness, generosity, professionalism, warmth, and tirelessness of the *entire* staff.There are service charges that are a critical ingredient in making this experience possible, but please be as generous with gratuities as you can. The team that works at Sofitel Santa Clara is presidential. 3000% on point.And there are friendly ghosts. Lorena LM: Absolutely amazing hotel, a truly 5-star experience! Staff are incredible and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. From Jesus welcoming special guests to the mayordomos (thank you Rudy, Diego, Amaury and Armando!) and everyone else in the hotel. The facilities are stunning and full of history and the food is amazing in all restaurants. I highly recommend the restaurant 1621 for amazing fine dining! Can’t wait to go back one day!
Gianluca Mazzanti: Siamo stati al Santa Clara per la nostra luna di miele un totale di 5 giorni a metà giugno 2023. È stata un'esperienza divina: servizio impeccabile, cibo squisito (colazione DA SOGNO) e infrastruttura meravigliosa. Unica pecca la mancanza di chiarezza riguardo il sistema delle mance. In Colombia è usanza lasciare una mancia pari al 10% del totale del conto. Ma non ci hanno spiegato bene che al momento del check out, per ogni notte ci hanno addebitato (con un sistema di mance centralizzato) circa 40€ (!). Il problema è che la mancia comunque dovrebbe essere una cosa volontaria, ma al momento di firmare ogni conto, comunque ti viene chiesto quanto desideri lasciare come mancia... Quindi abbiamo dato mance a ogni pasto, cocktail ecc. e in più ci hanno addebitato quei 40€ per ogni giorno che hanno aumentato cospicuamente il saldo da pagare a fine soggiorno. Comunque sia consigliatissimo!!!!!

Karen McNeill: This place is worth every penny! The people are beautiful, welcoming, and most of all kind. The rooms are a little outdated, but for the most part you don’t spend a lot of time in your room. The hotel has everything you need and it’s conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. I highly recommend this place. They nailed “customer service”! I will return!

I've travelled to many countries and tried out hundreds of different bars. This one takes the cake. My favorite drink here is the "Rosarito." It is arguably the best cocktail i've had!The staff is super accommodating and the drinks are sublime.

He has a great background story of how he came to be in Cartagena from his hometown as well.We ordered a couple of tapas - Ceviche de la Casa and Croquetas de Res. We liked both but were especially enjoyed the Croquetas. The drinks were great as well. They have a wide selection of options.There is only a small inside section but a large outdoor seating area if there’s nothing available inside. The only benefit of inside is the air conditioning.
