Cayuco Camping Baru: what do users think?
Inesmaria Diaz: y caja fuerte.
Jorge Santander: Excellent place for camping, recommended at 💯%Food & drinks: Muy buenas comidasRestrooms: Rústicos indicados para el lugar
Angelica Lozada: It is a cozy place, the tents are comfortable and you have what you need to sleep comfortably. It's a nice environment for people who support green places. The food offered by the restaurant is rich, perhaps there are more options when you book with breakfast included. It has a small beach, which has a beautiful view, ideal to hang out and have a few beers, but it wasn't so nice to swim. The campfire plan, super deli! They offer you different plans to get to know the place and you can go to the different beaches that are nearby.
ARTEK AGENCIA PUBLICITARIA: Excellent place to rest, a very quiet environment, close to Playa Blanca, very good service, exquisite food. Super recommended 👌😉
Libardo Moreno: Excellent experience, everything is very nice and the service is very good
Juan Zea: The beach is neglected, you can't bleat on it, the fans in the tent are very small
MONICA JEANNETH NÚÑEZ VÁSQUEZ: Beautiful place, very nice, you can see the care with nature, the campsites are very comfortable, the bathrooms, the showers are super. 👍 The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially Daniel, Tati and Laura. The tasty food. They have a private and very comfortable beach. Highly recommended.
Erika Idrobo: Cozy place, delicious food and excellent service. Near white beach.
Christian S: The second star is just because the ambiente is very beautiful. The owner wasn't there at the time during our stay (4 nights) and no one could help us concerning tours. The camping place doesn't offer tours, they normally are just an intermediate but not even this worked well for us.Otherwise there is not much to do.Also the price is way to high for just sleeping in a tent compared to a hotel for the same price. Also the payment process was super complicated.
Betty W. Romero: Very nice place, country and rest.
Eugeniu Alexeenco: It is good camping just 20 min taxi from Cartagena and 4 min taxi from Aviario and playa blanca. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has 2 options and well done. With private beach. Positive: all is good for this price. Cons: It is possible to rent kayak by hour for 30k for April 2022 but it wasnt possible to rent for whole day like in Canadian camps. Price 100-120k for whole day has to be reasonable if compared with canadian prices. In any case 5 star!
Karen Munzón: Excellent
Sebastian Martínez: It is an experience in which you have to be willing to interact with nature, excellent camping equipment and one of the best arepa de huevo I have tried 👏👏
Kelly Cervantes: Super
Dylan Kerr: Beautiful place and very good price quality. The staff and owner are great.

Gente De Mar Resort: what do users think?
Edgar Cardona: Everything perfect, I want to repeat vacations.
Marcela Carriço Cantino: I do not recommend it at all!!! THEY ARE NOT A RELIABLE COMPANY!We contact them to make a reservation for 3 people for the tour PASANDÍA - USD 215 total. After we paid, they said that we couldn't go on the day we had availability - that they didn't have the tour that day. At the same time, we requested the cancelation, as they couldn't deliver the services we paid for. They did not return our money and did not replay any messages anymore.
jorge zarb: I paid on October 31, 2022, 540 dollars for 3 nights in one of the most expensive rooms for April 2023, the last days of March, the hotel was closed and expropriated by the Government, the hotel notifies me of what happened and 2 months have passed and they did not refund my money, they do not answer the phone or the wasaps, so far I feel cheated by the Hotel .. BE CAREFUL THEY ARE SCAMMERS
Lorena Castro G.: It is the perfect place to rest, enjoy the crystal clear sea and swim with the fish without losing any comfort while you are on the island. I'll be back as soon as I can!
Antonio Mateo: My experience was very negative, a paradisiacal place but totally abandoned. Dirty and a work team without any motivation. The worst experience of my trip through Colombia.
Eugenia Estella Rodilla: I advise against anyone going to this site. I bought a pass for Seafarers on March 8, 2023 for a value of 640,000 cop and on April 3 when I arrive with my son at the bodeguita dock they tell me that 10 days ago it has closed and changed its name and that it is intervened by the state and that basically no one is going to show up to give explanations or to take us to do the parade that day. No one from seafarers showed up or answered the cell phone to give me a solution and to this day no one has returned my money....Unfortunate experience knowing that they were closed, not even noticing it so that we were looking for an alternative solution in time, in addition to returning the money for a service not provided. Do not even think of reserving or paying for passes with them due to the serious problem they currently present.I hope that my experience and comment serve to dissuade anyone from living the same thing.
Reinaldo Lueg: The Rosario Islands are the closest thing to paradise that I know. Beautiful beaches, clear water, colorful fish, lots of deck chairs available.
Cheronne Anderson: Reservation cancelled by resort day after they sent a confirmation following a direct booking on their website. No explanation nor response to email, Whatsapp messages and phone calls. Can't speak to rooms or location but this speaks to poor service.Service: 1/5 …More

Hotel Playa Manglares | Barú: what do users think?
Yesenia Donoso: A wonderful place to rest with great hosts.
Rutmir Castillo: You will find: a haven of peace, exquisite attention, unbeatable food and exuberant nature. The beach is not crystal clear and blue waters but who cares?Food & drinks: Espectacular, todo!
Hammy Fernando: Lovely, tranquil experience right next to a private beach with plenty of activities to do. The rooms and showers are beautiful. And Paco and all of the staff are extraordinarily helpful and friendlyRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Nour Idriss: This place was recommended by a local after I begged for a recommendation for a quite place to spend the day with my boyfriend and it was perfect. Yes it didn’t have the beautiful turquoise blue water like the one in Playa Blanca and Playa Tranquila but the peace, service and food here and well worth it. We only spent the day. The owner will suggest car service to take you there and drop you off for a reasonable price. I had what was probably the best grilled fish during my month and a half in Colombia. The staff was super friendly and trust me after you experience the other busy beaches that are packed with vendors and people offering different services, you’ll appreciate the peacefulness and romantic vibes of this place.
george jahn: Late lunch after visiting the aviary. A calm beach at the edge of the mangrove.
Ali: The rooms were very dirty. The bathroom was technically outdoors which was not mentioned in the description. Last thing you want to see when using the shower is a giant spider on the showerhead. HARD PASS. The rooms were extremely dusty. There is no curtains, just open windows where everyone on the grounds can see and hear everything in your room so you have zero privacy. The mosquito net seem like it had never been washed. There were little holes in the net and gaps all over the edges of the room and we saw many geckos freely coming and going into the room. Since the only way to get air circulation in the No A/C rooms was to keep the windows open, the mosquito net was not very efficient as a result and it would fly off the bottom of the ground let mosquitoes and geckos in.Also, the location of the rooms in relation to the main road makes it seem like there is a helicopter constantly hovering over you. It was so loud (and not peaceful at all) that we were wondering if we were near a military base. Only to realize it was the echo of the cars on the road about 50 meters above the rooms.
Kristofer Johansson: A small and intimate hotel at an awesome location, right next to the water. There is a private beach that's very pretty and peaceful. One can relax in the seats there or place the hammock among the trees. The water is calm and of perfect temperature. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and can arrange cheap transports to destinations in the area. The food and drinks the staff makes is delicious. There is also an "honour" bar with beers etc.The room was clean but simple with no AC. But there were plenty of fans and we had no problem sleeping at night. If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful place in Barú to spend a few days, you can't find a better alternative than this.
ORIANA GALEANO GALÁN: It has a small quiet beach.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Edwin Rosado: If you like Ac and hate mosquitos this isn't the place for you. Otherwise great locationRooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Felix Köstinger: Simply perfect! Never write any reviews but this place definitely earns it. If you search for total relaxation and perfect food this is the spot. Gracias por todo, sois geniales!
Yes M: Site more than recommended !!! It is a magical place, surrounded by lots of nature... Wonderful!!!The attention is great and the food is exquisite. Thank you very much, we will repeat for sure!!!
Robo Cob: Nice location but just stay on the islands most of the day
Sara Ruiz: Accommodation in the middle of the "jungle" with private beach. Spectacular rooms. It makes you live an incredible experience surrounded by nature. The staff are charming and attentive. Also, great food service!
juan castro: I went to have lunch the same day I went to the Aviario. The place is nice, clean and peaceful. It is well kept and the food was good with reasonable portions. Reason for not giving this place a 5 star. Prices are little high, and the wait time for lunch was over one hour. Everything else was good.

Aura Hotel Barú: what do users think?
Iliana Zarco: The delicious food, the champion pork rinds
Carlos Luis Paz: A paradise for rest. Therefore it is a bit secluded and lonely. The quality of the Hotel and its people is excellent, there is a SPA and a first class restaurant. There are no means of connection with the Town of Barú since there is no taxi service or public transport and you can only walk. Maybe they could add ATVs for guests which would connect it up a bit better.
Alberto Dominguez Rangel: It is an excellent place to enjoy the sea, a very beautiful beach, in the bay of Cholon. Excellent attention. exquisite meals. 10/10 I recommend it. It can be reached by sea and by road.
Waleska Iacono: Access to the hotel is via a dirt road in poor condition far from everything, which conditions you to depend exclusively on its service. The beach is basically a stagnant water mangrove swamp. The constant visit of local people offering the rental service of jet skis and inflatables becomes disturbing if you want to rest and relax since the persecution is such that when you bathe in the water they come to insist that you rent a service from them.During the night they carried out repairs in some of the rooms, which disturbed our rest with noise for a few minutes. The food was good and well presented.Very nice common areas.
Diego Romero: Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink, they provided us with all the necessary information but also the staff was always willing to answer any questionsFood & drinks: Excelentes platos y una coctelería de lujo
Daniel Rimoldi: Excellent place to rest. The hotel's beach was unpleasant as it has a seaweed and muddy bottom but it is not attributable to this beautiful hotel.
Diana Atehortua: It is an ideal place to rest, excellent service, delicious food, very clean, the private beach, it really is a charming place, the administrator, Mr. Domingo is a super host. Super recommended place!
Rihanna Roberts: Horrible. This is coming from a person expecting an elegant and pleasurable stay. As shown in the photos online, this hotel seemed so luxurious. I am completely disappointed. First of all on our ride to this hotel, with the transportation of Aura Hotel Baru, our luggage’s were completely drenched with oil. Our luggage’s were placed in the back of the car. Where they are supposed to be. Yet there was oil spilling in the back of the car. The whole ride to the hotel, there was also a horrible stench, we all felt nauseous the while hour and a half on our way to this hotel. When we spoke to the workers of Aura hotel, they didn’t do anything about the spill on our luggage. They ignored our complaint and left us the same, if this were another hotel, they would’ve gave us free lunch or helped us clean the luggage.Once we got to the hotel, we went to the “beach” or better described, bay. I expected a pristine, beautiful big beach. I got the opposite. Coming from somebody that believes this hotel is costly, I thought that the beach was worth the cost. It was filled with spoons, cups, styrofoam, tomatoes, sliced pineapples. And it smelled like fish and rotten. The water is also very shallow so it’s hard to fully swim if you are tall. Now our room, we were welcomed with a door that is very hard to open. Plus it is rusty. There is also a mirror that fell only by my mom slightly walking past it. This scared me knowing I have a grandma traveling with us too. Then on the windows inside of our room, there were drips of some sort of white liquid and stains. In the bathroom the shower head was dirty with some sort of gunk, the sinks were rusty, the windows weren’t even proper windows, they were made of nets that are an easy entrance for bugs. An easier entrance for bugs are the gaps between the ceiling and the wall. I forgot to mention how the bathroom has no AC and there is an extremely loud noise all day and night coming from the bathroom, or there is always some loud construction work. The toilet also had trouble flushing. Then in the other

Keiry Pacheco: I was only in the hotel restaurant. The food tasted good and the atmosphere was great. They gave me fries instead of patacones in my order but it was a minor thing for the experience hahaha.
Dieter Witt: The road to get there is too ugly. The people at the hotel did not stop speaking to me in English even though I spoke to them in Spanish, since it is my mother tongue. I would have liked them to rent the sailboat they have there, but the kayaks are great to go out in the morning! The shower water was dirty and the shower itself needed a good cleaning, because it floods and also has a lot of mold. The food is very good but for breakfast there is little variety, there should be fruit water
Carlos Escoto: Lovely hotel with very comfortable facilities for the wedding I attended with my friends.
