Daniel Arbeláez: The audio did not work so you do not receive the tour you booked, when you ask for help they tell you to file a complaint but you have to go to the office and you are on a bus on the other side of the city.
Haim Levy: No air condition in the bus (also on the lower floor).The bus don't arrive to the stations at time.
Sandra Baxter: It is not worth your money. It was extremely expensive for what it is.

Barry Kaiser: I typically use a sightseeing tour like this during my first day in a new city to get a feel for it. I have used Citysightseeing Tours in other cities, but this experience was well below expectations. Firstly, there didn’t seem to be any central stop where an employee would be located to answer questions and buy tickets. Instead, I had to deal with a tout selling me the ticket, which wasn’t a great experience. Secondly, the tour has too many long stops (5 to 10 mins). Thirdly, the audio narrative was quite limited. I listened to a lot of music during my tour… Finally, the bus took a shortcut and we missed part of the tour. If you are interested in a service like this in Cartagena, I suggest trying another tour company.

Claudia Prado: Excellent option to tour the whole city. I recommend doing the whole tour in 1 go (it's about 1 hr long) and get the views, the stories and then do the hop on hop off in the places you want to explore more. Being in the bus helps with the heat quite a bit so it's nice to have so many stop options.

Tatiana Vélez Fuentes: It is more what one expects from the bus than what happens on it. It was not possible to do the walk because the guide spoke all the time in Spanish. In the end, the same bus guides recommended that we walk instead of waiting for the bus. Expensive and not recommended service.

However, the information they provide about the city is not great, the route and information about the city and its history is really very poor. It is good to locate yourself in the city but it is not worth it as a city tour

We do not recommend it and less pay in advance.

Gillian Evans: We were a little apprehensive on what the tour would be like as never been to Columbia before but as soon as we saw Gustavo we could see what a pleasant young man he was.He gave us a very informative, animated and amusing tour. We also love meeting the story behind the locals we meet . Gustavo had such great interpersonal skills we assumed he was born into a privileged family. Not so. he has obviously worked hard, completing a history degree and wants to have a career in tourism. Heartwarming to see a young man with ambition and his mum and grandmother must be very proud of him.The only tip I would give the company is to tell customers on booking they should only pay $10.00 for a taxi ride from the cruise ship and have the right money as they don’t have change (Gustavo told us after we paid $25.00) and that the square to meet is through the yellow clock tower as when we first arrived it was a bit bewildering as you do get hassled by others in the town and not speaking the language difficult to get directions.Thank you for a great tour and woukd have tipped more than the $40.00 had we not paid so much for a taxi!

N Villarreal: Duran Duran tours helped me coordinate several events for a week long work conference in Cartagena a few years ago. They helped me tremendously because I was planning this from Dallas, Texas and I had to put a lot of trust in them. My trust was not misplaced, they were incredible!! They planned an entire day's tour for 80 people (including transportation) plus they helped me with a rental of a catamaran with direct drop off at a restaurant for dinner. That night was amazing and everything went very smoothly. They made me look really good in front of our customers and my managers! At the end of the week Mr. Duran thanked me and said he was grateful because this was the first large tour group he'd managed since his business was fairly new. This would have been worth the cost of the entire tour alone - the market covers a vast area, teeming with locals buying and selling goods of all kinds. Stepping into its maze-like interior is a little intimidating (especially if you're not fluent in Spanish!), but no worries - Angel guided us through the various shops and stalls, stopping to get us some tasty samples, shopping for produce and fresh fish, greeting various friends and acquaintances, and all the while providing us with all sorts of information (about the market, Cartagena, Colombia and a bit of his personal biography.Leaving the market, we then drove to his family's home in the Andalucia neighborhood. We were greeted there by his lovely wife, Maria, and her assistant, and then began preparing our meal. Our hosts made sure to keep the conversation flowing when they weren't instructing us, and, over the course of three hours, we all got to know a bit about each other (and, of course, Colombian cuisine!). With such pleasant company and plenty to do, time flew by and, seemingly before I knew it, it was time to eat!We were joined for lunch by Angel and Maria's son (I am SO sorry, but I can't recall the young man's name just now), a college student and very friendly young man. We all ate our delicious home-cooked meal together, and continued our great conversation throughout. When we were finished, we said our goodbyes (but not before they gave us a special parting gift!) and Angel and his assistant drove us back to our apartment in the Centro district.We spent about 9 days in Colombia, and I would say that this was the most enjoyable, most educational and most rewarding experience we had during our time there. I cannot recommend this tour (or any tour with Duran Duran) highly enough!

Patrik Holmberg: This is the worst experience I have ever had with a tour company anywhere in the world.We booked everything for Playa Blanca the day before at their office and continued talking to them over text messages during the night to confirm our pick up.Today, when we arrived the pick up wasnt there and they couldn't give us a new one. Apparently a public holiday today, something they did not tell us yesterday.We had to ask for every bit of information, or search for ourselves. No information was provided by the office/staff. They even tried to put the blame on us by saying we booked the wrong time, but in reality they gave us two different pick up time to choose from.The service was bad and it felt like they did nothing to make the situation better, like ordering us a taxi or something to fix the issue they have caused.I do not recommend using them at all, a time waster and bad experience.

Steve Tadevich: We booked a private tour with Duran Duran for a group of eight. Booked the tour in January of 2018 and pulled into port early April. Everything was excellent, from the time we were greeted coming off our cruise ship until we were dropped off at the conclusion of tour. Knowledgeable guide, interesting stops, an air conditioned van. Cost was better than what the cruise line offered and from what I understand it was far superior. I highly recommend Duran Duran.
