Instead of following a line for who gets to go upstairs, they’ll let their friends(?) and couples first. If you’re with a bigger group, forget about it. Which is insane bc we would have brought the most money. And when you question they’re super rude! They tried telling me it was bc I had gotten there only 15min prior. Hm, no sir! I have eyes and saw all these ppl who just got here after us get upstairs before us. And again, being super rude and condescending. Anyway, I left and then had a blast at Invissa (super recommend instead of this overtly hyped place).

Danny K: This is a tough one for me. The hotel seems like a nice little boutique hotel, however, we visited for a Sunday brunch. Apparently, the best feature is the rooftop, and unfortunately, brunch was inside due to some rain. Small and cozy restaurant space, however, the music was WAY too loud! Service started off great, but went downhill quite quickly. The brunch is done in a tapas style, which is quite unique and was enjoyable. Food was very good, however, it took quite some time to come out. Overall, I’d definitely go again, but only if the rooftop is open. There’s no way I could sit through a meal again with the volume they played the music. Hopefully service improves for the next time too.

Gabrielle Marie: While I did not stay at Townhouse, my husband and I enjoyed their rooftop bar one evening when we were in Cartagena. This was one of our favorite places for cocktails and nachos! Everything is very well priced, the atmosphere is super trendy, and the nachos are probably some of the best I have ever had. The rooftop over looks the city, so do yourself a favor by ordering a drink and some apps while watching the sunset. It is absolutely breathtaking.

The food and the delicious cocktails, the only thing they have to improve is the attention since it takes a long time, but it is understandable given the number of people who visit the place.
Aurimar Duran: Lousy lousy lousy attention! The worst service I received in Cartagena, it hurts that a place with such a beautiful view has such attention. We asked for a song to sing birthdays and they didn't allow it because they only listen to electronic music, we were a group of more than 15 adult people to celebrate the birthday of a 60-year-old person. The hostess did not want to allow us to enter because they already wanted to close the premises and their closing time was in 3 hours!I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!It goes without saying that I would never return to this place...I would like to add that I do not recommend any dish, much less the beer that was super hot!

Lady Bello: The reason why I’m putting 5 stars is because the food is sooo delicious yum yum and where the restaurant is located the is amazing. The bad part is the communication in that restaurant. If you go on google maps search up the restaurant and try to call that restaurant the number bad it doesn’t go through. I tried sooo many times I had to go to another restaurant and ask for help. That restaurant needs to adjust the number as to why they haven’t is a mystery. Once I was able to successfully make the reservations a few hours later I called to make sure my reservations was ok and then I called again the second day just make sure, call me crazy I just like to make sure everything was okay. As soon as I got there they didn’t see my reservations 🤯!!! I had to get loud and rude to the put that they called in the manager and I told the manager this is a mess on how you handle the reservations. Yeah you can also do the reservations online but I believe in doing things myself and or in person. The manager let me in because I gave him all proof that I tried calling to make a reservation and everything. We sat the table that we picked. WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR for our server to come to us. Another serve saw us tried to help and she noticed that our actual serve never came up to us. She decided to help I was soo angry on how the manager miss manages his personal. The server who help us was soo sweet to us. I left her a tip and she said that there’s a new law in Colombia that because the restaurants are paying the servers well the customers aren’t allowed to tip us. I believe alll restaurantes should follow this example.

valeria jaque: The place has armchairs and tables arranged throughout the sector, a stage where the music is extremely loud for what corresponds to the environment, the music is so loud that you cannot hear your companion unless they are spoken in the ear, the people were on the cell phone all the time, those who danced were for a song and then they sat down, the drinks were lousy! One of the worst I've had, my partner's the same, the food was normal, not exceptional or good, the price/quality ratio does not correspond, the attention of the waiters is very friendly! The viewpoint to the city is unique but with the other low points above my experience was terrible!

They made us order at the bar when the rest were served at the table. The cocktails were completed with only ice.

Alison Rooney: Highly recommend visiting El Baron when you re in Cartagena. Great drinks and food. I tried one of the special cocktails. Service was attentive and everyone there looked after the guests. You can outside on the plaza or inside. It is one of “must go” spots.
Steven Heath: We had a great time at El Baron tonight. Angel was our waiter and was so outgoing and kind as he explained the menus and made suggestions on what we should order. He has a great background story of how he came to be in Cartagena from his hometown as well.We ordered a couple of tapas - Ceviche de la Casa and Croquetas de Res. We liked both but were especially enjoyed the Croquetas. The drinks were great as well. They have a wide selection of options.There is only a small inside section but a large outdoor seating area if there’s nothing available inside. The only benefit of inside is the air conditioning.

Edgar Castro: De los lugares más mágicos que existen en la ciudad amurallada. La comida es perfecta y mi hablar de los cócteles. La atención de todos es muy cordial. Es un gran lugar para organizar tus eventos o una salida con amigos.

Marcela Nivia: Súper recomendado para cócteles, la atención es cordial. La comodidad y sobre todo la vista es única. Buen ambiente para estar en pareja. La picada buena, pero podría ser excelente porque la fritura de la papa y rodajas de plátano no estaban crujiente, pasada en grasa y la salsa mejor fuera del plato, al gusto. Lo demás 👌.
Kevin Alvarez: Sitio agradable, un plan suave en pareja o con amigos, estar en el rooftop disfrutar de unos cocteles (recomiendo pasión de la negra si te gusta el toqué dulce o si te gusta el toqué cítrico candilejo, le falta a mi gusto un poco de iluminación al sitio, tiene lindas vistas parciales, por lo que apoyarse con iluminación, decoración y murales sería mucho mejor
Mary Somoza: Es uno de los mejores spots para disfrutar del atardecer en el centro de la ciudad amurallada, buena comida y excelentes cócteles de autor. Súper recomendado para ir a relajarse con buenos amigos.

Oliver Pérez Camargo: I was at a wedding brunch where my friends, with great affection, reserved for approximately 50 people. But they had only one waiter serving, the brunch lasted from 10am to 2pm while they served everyone. There were even people who got tired and left. When they complained, they only put one more person to attend, and things improved a bit but they were still super slow. I saw that they made an effort but they were simply too few.Too bad such a paltry staffing spoiled what could have been a nice beachside brunch with cool breezes and enjoyable food.
