Casa Claver Loft Boutique Hotel: what do users think?
Nathan: This was a really cool hotel to stay at. You feel like you are just surrounded by history. Walking distance to just about everything and very safe. All the good restaurants, bars, clubs, coffee shops, museums and anything else you need near by. The hotel staff was very nice and very accommodating. They made sure that we had everything we needed. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was fantastic! Spent the early mornings and late evenings walking around exploring, but the middle of the day just chilling by the rooftop pool sipping on the local cervezas. I would definitely stay here again.
Jason Oster: Great hotel at a good price. Clean and comfortable. Great staff. Nice rooftop views. Close to many great restaurants and activities.Rooms: Clean, comfortable apartments. Washing machine, cook top and refrigerator in the room.Walkability: Within the walls of the old fort/city, can walk to everything in a matter of minutes. Close to the beach.Food & drinks: Close to many great restaurants, coffee shops and shopping areas.
Cyassandra Frith: All around 5 Stars ⭐️We were a girls trip of 4 and the room offered PLENTY of space!! I’m an AC girl and the AC did NOT disappoint! The bathrooms were clean and décor was chic and functional. You get daily breakfast which was not only delicious but bought in suite daily and set up by the kind staff. I will definitely be back!!Pictures show views from the rooftop pool which is such a tranquil vibe!
Laura Torres: Wow!What a treat this place. The rooms are beautiful, the beds delicious. The staff was very attentive to our needs, they recommended a delicious place for dinner. The terrace has an unbeatable view of the city surrounded by the two most important domes of Cartagena.Excellent location. It's certainly not a cheap option, but it's worth every peso for the category of hotel.
Alissa Weinman: My friends and I stayed in a Deluxe room for 3 nights on the way back from Tayrona — to say we LOVED Casa Claver is to put it lightly. The hotel itself is so beautiful — from the plants in the lobby area to the downstairs pool to the incredible rooftop. We spent a good amount of time lounging on the rooftop pool taking in Cartagena, and also used it as a great hangout area before going out.The room itself was perfect for 3, but definitely could have fit 4 comfortably. The AC in the Cartagena heat was a godsend for us and the natural light made the room even better. As far as location, it was the perfect place to stay in the Walled City. It was a less than a ten minute walk to some of the must-sees in the area and a 13 minute walk to Getsemani. On top of everything, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating to us as travelers. I’d definitely stay here again!
Leandro Fajardo: Rooms: Espaçosos e confortáveis.Nearby activities: Dentro do Centro histórico de Cartagena.Walkability: No meio do centro histórico.
parthiv shah: Incredible! Breathtaking views from rooftop! Excellent location!
Alexandra Dékány: The good: The location is the absolute best. Everything—things to see/do, restaurants, shops—is within walking distance and it’s only about a 15 min drive from the airport (waking up at 6am and being able to wander around in the *empty* old city is priceless!). I want to give extra credit to the staff who are kind, helpful, attentive and they do their best! There are two pools—one inside and one on the rooftop. The rooftop area has a stunning view of the city. We got a standard double room on the first floor. Mini fridge in the room and closet to unpack clothes. Breakfast is included and it has to be ordered the day before for a specific time for the next morning. No buffet. Food is really delicious, the cooks are great. The not-so-good: there was no bottle water offered in the room, even though it would’ve been a nice touch and every other hotel offered it. WiFi barely works. The room looks right at the indoor pool and people obviously walk around there all the time which means zero privacy, unless you keep the roller shades down. For the same reason it’s not a quiet room either. There isn’t enough shelf space around the sink to keep toiletries there. Broken shower door—the water is spraying all over the bathroom floor.Walkability: Very walkable.
Daylen Perez: Quiet place recommended to restRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Aisha Batista: Stayed in Cartagena for 5 days.. We were hotel hopping to just get a feel for where we’d like to stay next time we come back to Colombia and this property was the best. The room was large, clean, and quiet. We had our own bathroom and our beds were both king sized. We had included breakfast delivered to our room which was also very delicious! We had the choice to choose from four different types of breakfasts, so so so nice. I really enjoyed the pool/rooftop. All it’s missing is a bar but overall the pool was so refreshing and perfect for the Cartagena heat. I am definitely coming back here. Also most importantly… there is so much nearby you can walk to.. I was going to stay at an Airbnb further away from the walled city but I’m glad I didn’t. I had friends who were staying there and they had to cab it everywhere because there was not many options close by. Everything was residential. I like being able to just walk outside and get some dinner options.I really loved this boutique hotel! Thanks for the amazing hospitality. I wish I would have stayed longer but the price went up like crazy after the 1st night so I went elsewhere… If you didn’t know, Cartagena is crazy busy in January due to holiday celebrations all month. So book accordingly and make sure you do your research or you won’t sleep at night por una chimba rumba. 😎🎉
Jaime Garcia: Very comfortable facilities. Excellent location in the heart of the walled town. Quiet atmosphere and spectacular staff attention. I would return for sure
Mary P: I think we got the smallest room in the entire hotel. Our room in way smaller than expected from the website. It’s on the 4th floor and very near the lovely pool which is really nice. The excellent breakfast is included and is absolutely amazing. They will even deliver it to your room balcony - which is necessary as there is no place to set it down inside your room. We ran into a few other minor issues: the door to the unit when closed still bangs in the wind and makes a loud knocking sound. We fixed that by filling the ice bucket with water to make it heavy and pushed it against the door to keep it in place. There’s not enough outlets for your phones so we had to unplug the clocks. There is NO ROOM whatsoever for toiletries in the bathroom. Most of my bath items are in my travel bags on the floor. The 2 bath towels are pretty scratchy. There were no hand towels. However, I would still recommend this place because of the views, the nice staff, the incredibly excellent breakfast, and the beautiful pool, and the fact that most of the rooms are larger than this one. If you want a larger room be sure you know what you are getting. The website indicated a very large king room with a large bathroom. This is not that. If you don’t mind such a small room, then this is just perfect.
Daymara Escarra: Excellent hotel, very good price for everything it offers. Huge rooms, breakfast in the room or in the area of the hotel you want. It is very quiet and is in the center, 2 blocks from the Clock Tower. In addition, the workers are very friendly and always willing to help.
Alejandro Cortez: The attention of its staff, the wonderful place and its location, its pool terrace and view make this place an unbeatable option when arriving in Cartagena... soon we will return without a doubt.
Jasmine Douglas: Just left the hotel today. Stayed for 5 days. Staff, amazing. Breakfast, amazing. Loved that we could ask the staff for recommendations or directions and they took the time to help us out. We checked out at noon today and the staff was nice enough to store our luggage away safely because our ride wasn’t there for airport pickup yet. Would definitely stay again.
Carolinne Polonio: Excelente hotel, próximo de tudo. Ficamos no Loft 303 e super recomendo. Quarto perfeito, espaçoso, bonito, ótimo café da manhã , funcionários muito educados e gentis. O ponto é o terraço que possui uma vista linda, além de uma piscina e ambiente agradável. Voltarei com toda certeza!
Marianela Gerber: Spacious and comfortable roomsRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Steven Kern: Great boutique vibe for this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
Matthew Koch: Amazing boutique hotel in the Old City of Cartagena. From our arrival until check-out the staff were so friendly and helpful. Right away we were upgraded to a nicer room, which was honestly too big for two of us to fully take advantage of, but we really appreciated it. The entire property was very clean and we'll kept. The breakfast each morning was delicious and filling, with a range of options that you order the night before. The rooftop pool had a great view and you can't miss taking advantage of it. We were alsp lucky enough to watch the parade in front of the hotel. Special shout-out to the front desk staff for helping arrange laundry, volunteering to walk me to an ATM when I was having troubles finding one that was open, and arranging our long taxi ride to Tayrona National Park. If we make it back to Cartagena, we will 100% be staying here again.Rooms: Spacious, clean, and comfortableFood & drinks: Delicious breakfast each day with 5 or 6 different options that you order the night before. The time range that you could eat, either downstairs near the courtyard pool or in your room, was I believe 7-10am, so very accommodating.
Rosanna Rodriguez: Such an amazing experience. This boutique was absolutely perfect! It was close to everything such as entertainment, restaurants, souvenir shops, clubs, etc. The view was breathtaking, and dreamy. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you need. I will definitely be coming back here again, I felt safe which was extremely important for me. The only downside was that the WiFi really wasn't the best, it kept going in and out. But, it made you enjoy the moment more since you weren't constantly occupied on your phone. I extremely recommend doing a boutique rather than a hotel, it made the experience more personal.

Alquimico Bar ROOFTOP DE OUF: what do users think?
Darlin Steffany Santiago Linares: They did not let us continue to the Rooftop with the justification that there was no water service on that floor, we made the claim that they told us if it was because of how we were dressed but they were very rude. Terrible attention, I would not go again
Eduardo Facundo: Nota 10!
Paulina Morales Díaz: Excellent atmosphere, good music, very rich signature drinks, it is more a place to go for drinks than for dancing
MUJICA REYES: The best cocktails!! The best sensory experience!!
Rallen Saavedra: I did not try the food, I went at night to taxi, but not even that is possible, people enter as far as it is not enough... excessively full, and the atmosphere is not enjoyed, the drink nothing to be desired, I left after 10min.
Débora Vidal: HORRIBLE SERVICE! The bouncer outside was the only nice staff I saw in this place, the ones securing the place inside are awful!! Instead of following a line for who gets to go upstairs, they’ll let their friends(?) and couples first. If you’re with a bigger group, forget about it. Which is insane bc we would have brought the most money. And when you question they’re super rude! They tried telling me it was bc I had gotten there only 15min prior. Hm, no sir! I have eyes and saw all these ppl who just got here after us get upstairs before us. And again, being super rude and condescending. Anyway, I left and then had a blast at Invissa (super recommend instead of this overtly hyped place).

Pedro Biondo: Faz jus à fama. Muito bom atendimento, ótima organização e drinks maravilhosos. Ambiente de pub com bela decoração. Tipos de drinks separados por andar.
Sofia Aristizabal Lanza: Service: 1/5More
Lorena Serrudo: Beautiful place! We went with my partner and they treated us excellently, it is a place for tapas and drinks, they do water refills, and the menu is very extensive, each floor is a different menu, we went twice, we would return without a doubt!

Amarla Boutique Hotel Cartagena: what do users think?
Daniel Rubio Sánchez: The hotel is fantastic. Well located, taken care of and the staff makes you feel like home. I recommend it without hesitation.
David Weber: We had the pleasure of staying at Amarla Boutique Hotel in Cartagena for 2 days and it was simply perfect! The hotel has a great location in the heart of the old town and its staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the spacious rooms to their rooftop terrace with stunning views, every detail is guaranteed to make your stay a memorable one. Highly recommend it!

Carmen Morawska: This is such a special hotel. The common areas are beautiful, and it has definitely kept its colonial charm whilst feeling very luxurious. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The only issue is we had a desk semi-blocking the door, so accessing the balcony wasn’t easy. It’s also worth noting that it’s quite noisy at night. Not the hotel’s fault as it’s coming from the street below, but for the rooms that face the road, maybe they could offer earplugs. The shower did not get very hot for very long and the old shower head means the water sort of splatters in weird directions, but it wasn’t terribly inconvenient. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
Marc Jerome: My wife and I just returned from a three night stay at this wonderful boutique property. The stay was wonderful because both the property and the service were excellent. Our room—#1– was lovely, quiet and peaceful with high ceilings and a large bathroom. The common areas are beautiful and stylish. The rooftop pool was perfect to relax at. But most importantly, the level of service was so good, we felt like we were staying at a private Villa. Every morning, fresh coffee with hot milk was waiting for us before our run. Breakfast, which is included, was delicious. See photos below. For the price, you cannot beat the level of service or room amenities. We highly recommend this 6 room hidden gem. Special shout out to the wonderful staff, including our food server, Dorian; Otto who greeted us in the am and Eduardo andClaudia, who helped make our stay memorable.

Everything on the breakfast menu is outstanding and the staff gladly made any slight alterations to meals to meet there needs of the pickiest of eaters. The front office staff are experts of the old town and have amazing recommendations for food and sights. They were extremely helpful in navigating transportation needs. 100% stay here if you are in Cartagena!!!For any event, I highly recommend Angie. She was detail oriented, responsive, and well-connected. She is personable and navigated any request, no matter how last-minute, with care, attention to detail, and grace. She made the entire wedding party feel at home and provided us with service that went above and beyond her role. She truly is an amazing person and fantastic at her job. We were lucky to work with her and would jump at any opportunity to work with her again if the opportunity would arise. Truly and eternally grateful for her work and partnership throughout the planning and execution of our wedding.

Townhouse Boutique Hotel & Rooftop: what do users think?
Danny K: This is a tough one for me. The hotel seems like a nice little boutique hotel, however, we visited for a Sunday brunch. Apparently, the best feature is the rooftop, and unfortunately, brunch was inside due to some rain. Small and cozy restaurant space, however, the music was WAY too loud! Service started off great, but went downhill quite quickly. The brunch is done in a tapas style, which is quite unique and was enjoyable. Food was very good, however, it took quite some time to come out. Overall, I’d definitely go again, but only if the rooftop is open. There’s no way I could sit through a meal again with the volume they played the music. Hopefully service improves for the next time too.
Andrea Crawford: My girls and i went to brunch on the rooftop. Food was great . From appetizers to meal. Atmosphere was perfect n beautiful view. I had a virgin passion fruit colada and it was yummy. If i ever go back to columbia this will definitely be on my list to visit again.Service: 5/5 …More
Xilena Grint: Nice view and delicious food!I loved the mini burgers.
Rienk f: Erg leuk rooftop restaurant met bar en mini pool. Het eten is fantastisch.Nearby activities: Gezellige oude buurt
Michelle Busch: CUTEST hotel. My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights and we were blown away by how cute and comfy our room was! The staff is also extremely kind and responsive. You can message them on WhatsApp for all your needs, including to order room service, and the service was so quick! We absolutely loved it and would 100% stay again! Thank you Townhouse for an enjoyable stay.
Eduardo Bergouignan: warning about the pics we didnt even check in b/c the pool on the website is not available they have a small watering whole to be fair that my dog would be crowded in. The rooftop is a restaurant not a place for guests to spend relaxing time at.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Elliot Barros Gnecco: A very cool place, nice rooftop with views of the colonial streets in the walled city. The prices are higher than the average for the area for being quite trendy, but it is worth a visit.
Gabrielle Marie: While I did not stay at Townhouse, my husband and I enjoyed their rooftop bar one evening when we were in Cartagena. This was one of our favorite places for cocktails and nachos! Everything is very well priced, the atmosphere is super trendy, and the nachos are probably some of the best I have ever had. The rooftop over looks the city, so do yourself a favor by ordering a drink and some apps while watching the sunset. It is absolutely breathtaking.
Alberto Rosselli: Have you heard about those places in Cartagena taking advantage of tourists? This is one of them. Your bill will definitely be 5 times more expensive than they show on the menu.Don't fall for them asking what rum you want on your Drink, they will charge hidden fees.Food & drinks: Bad taste cheap food
Christian Barsanti: The food was surprisingly tasty. The photos don't do it justice so I won't include one.
Karim Bawa: The tapas were amazing, the ambiance was good.
Dr mctits mctits: All great
Beba: We visited the terrace for some drinks, excellent breeze, music and attention

Jorge Barreras: Great place for drinks after sunsetService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sergio Buitrago: The restaurant is very cute. The food is super. Congratulations to Chef Mantilla
Sanj Sukerkar: Amazing roof top, by far the best in Cartagena. Well laid out, not as claustrophobic as others! Get the club sandwich and shrimp cocktail entree. We did a round of mojitos! The views remind me of a roof top in Panama over looking the older buildings and churches.Great views to enjoy and wow sunsets!!
Jose Alfredo Palomino Vasquez: Excellent place to watch the sunset. The service is good, although it can be better. There is a live DJ on some days. It is located in the historic center.
Paul Johnson: The Movich rooftop might be one of the best views in the old city of Cartagena and probably worth a visit particularly for a sunsetHowever be prepared to pay the highest prices in the city for cocktails and they are not very good. Just a shot of vodka or rum will cost 80,000 pesos (~$19 US dollars), which is close to 2x other high end restaurants in the old city.Despite the fabulous view we were shocked by the prices of the cocktails, which spoiled our visit.
Geneviève Bolduc: The Hotel is beautiful, the rooms are perfect. The service at the front desk was impecable. They are also known for their rooftop, which has an amazing view of the city. But …. 2 very anoying points:1. the music was terrible, loud american pop music. We asked to change the music and they were clueless…. Saying it was the hotel radio. The music is so important for the ambiance, the full city is about salsa and good vibe, I can’t believe they don’t have better music than that to create a vibe.2. The service! We ordered 2 Dry Martini from the menu. The waiter said they can’t do them, they are out of gin. We asked then to replace by vodka. It got extremely complicated. And at the end, they charged double the price, saying they had to charge a shot of vodka (?) to replace the gin in the martini.. we argued, but the manager was rude and not client friendly. A big zero for the service.Unfortunately, although the view is amazing, go for some pictures and get your drinks somewhere else nicer !
Dorka Biró: I can only review the roof top bar as we didn’t stay in the hotel, but watched the sunset and ordered some food and drinks. HAROLD RANSOM: This place was recommended by our driver and it was spot on. Nice location, with beautiful views. We could see other rooftop bars and it had a view of the Plaza where a public concert was taking place. Food was good, margaritas were better than the mojitos.Food & drinks: Food and drinks were excellent.
Mario Porras: Excellent location to watch the sunsets on the terrace. I recommend it.
Cristian Amenabar: Very comfortable, quiet room to rest and very complete and delicious breakfast

Casa de Alba Hotel Boutique: what do users think?
Rebecca Marks: Casa De Alba Boutique deserves more than five stars! Elegant with old world charm that makes it a a perfect complement to the ambiance of the walled city. Perfectly located and easy access to what Cartagena has to offer. Rooms are exquisite and very comfortable. It was lovely to have both pools and a beautiful front deck to enjoy fabulous food and watch the city life below. The staff is superb and made our stay wonderful in every way! Special thanks to Jefferson; he went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for us and secured bookings for us at several amazing restaurants that we were unable to do on our own! We will be back to visit Cartagena and our friends at Casa De Alba Boutique!
Manzano Jessica: We stayed here for one night and our stay was absolutely wonderful !The hotel is in the “Cartagena old town”, so we were near to everything. The staff is so polite and full of advices.Breakfast was great with choices for eggs and juices. We had it on their little balcony with the street view, but we could also have it on the room.We will definitely come back and recommend it !Thank you 🙏🏽
Angelica Lawrence: I had the time of my life! I absolutely loved my stay. My sister and I were treated like royalty. Carlos went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! He set up taxi arrangements, horse and carriage rides, dinner reservations, excursions, massages and more. The staff was so pleasant and thought. I loved the indoor pool and decor. Carlos greeted us everyday with a smile and new insights about Cartenga. All I can say is wow and thank you for making my birthday so special! The breakfast was so delicious and the hotel is so peaceful. It truly is the perfect getaway. I recommend casa de alba for 5 stars! The canopy beds were so royal and the views and location is perfect in the old city. Thank you so much Carlos for everything!

Janice Baldwin: This boutique hotel deserves even more than 5 stars! We rented the entire place for the 10 of us for one of my best friends 50th birthday! The food was amazing, the chef was wonderful. The staff was incredible ~ Carlos and Milton made sure everything was perfect. They kept us safe ~ and set up tour guides and reservations and even made sure we all made it back to the hotel safely. We laughed with them, and we hugged them. If you are ever in need of a wonderful place for a group or just a couple this place is perfect. We all fell in LOVE with Cartagena and we all want to go back already! ❤️❤️❤️
Michael Sundholm: Wonderful hotel with terrific and attentive service. Antonio, Hernan, and Baker were all very helpful and professional.Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a beautiful view of the street or you could sit in a very well decorated eating area. The pool area is always kept clean, neat, and beautiful.Other guests were friendly and respectful. The pool on the rooftop was amazing!Whenever we had a question or needed any assistance we were always met with kind and patient persistence to get us where we needed to go, helped us secure cabs to a and from the airport and arranged a Covid test for us.The value definitely is amazing to stay at such a great hotel with excellent staff!
Ariadna: Great facilities and attention received by all the staff. Very well located. We have good memories and desire to repeat.

Sarah Cohen: The most incredible experience! Hernan and Milton made sure everything we needed was taken care of, booking restaurant reservations and even having snacks ready for us when we got back from a long boat day. Would recommend Casa de Alba to anyone I know traveling to Cartagena! Can’t wait to go back!!
Michele Cantelo: Since I can't reply to the hotels response, I'll set some details straight here:- The rate was $120 on our end, not sure what the $40 is, but $120 is very normal pricing for a nice hotel in Colombia. This can be confirmed through a simple Google search. I also have never felt the need to call hotels directly to confirm bookings when I have an email from a reputable company confirming it and have paid already. It's never been an issue before.- I absolutely wasn't screaming. I was too confused to even be angry in the moment. I have no idea where the "famous" traveler thing came from. This is completely fabricated and laughable.- They did not explain anything about not letting others in because a family was there. That's the main thing that I complain about in the review - the total lack of explanation and hospitality. From the moment they opened the door, they were unpleasant, even before knowing what we were there for or allowing us to speak. It wouldn't have cost them a thing for the staff member to be friendly.- We booked through Hotels.com, not Expedia. But, as I said, the mistake was seen across *all* websites, so it's not surprising the hotel has this detail confused.----We booked this hotel through Hotels.com and arrived yesterday only for their doorman to be extremely rude and not honor our reservation. They made a mistake in their pricing (across all websites - every website had this price, Booking, Trivago, etc.) and priced it lower than their actual rate. At the door, they were rude, didn't even apologize for their mistake, and acted as if *we"* had done something wrong. They didn't offer to let us into the lobby to correct the mistake (we could have paid the full price) or even just to have a place to sit while we found a new reservation. They just left us in the street with all of our bags and nowhere to go due their mistake (it couldn't have just been Hotels.com, as the price showed on EVERY website the same.) Even people on the street were shocked by how rude the man who worked there was. It's one thing for a logistical error to happen. It's another thing to have a total lack of hospitality, be totally rude, and leave people stranded. I've travelled 20+ countries and lived abroad for 4+ years and NEVER experienced this sort of thing.
Jesús Johan Villalobos G.: 👌🏽
Erick Cuellar: If I could give Casa de Alba more stars I would! Andres, Thomas, Baker, Hernan, and Antonio took the best care of us. The breakfast was delicious and prepared exactly at the time we asked. Baker made amazing drinks (ORDER THE PASSIONFRUIT MOJITO!) The rooms are spacious, super comfortable, and AC works well. Hernan helped us with transportation from and to the airport and our covid tests. At night Antonio served as our personal tour guide to get us around and ensure we didn't get lost. I didn't expect the level of attention my girlfriend and I received. We were sad to leave, but excited to plan another stay in the future with Casa de Alba. Thank you for an unforgettable time.
Franklin Manuel Diaz Muñoz: It is Fantastic, dreams come true ..... unique, passion and reality ..
Ty Allred: I stayed here with friends over a long weekend and we each loved it. The entire hotel is super clean. The rooms are very unique and come with a solid A/C (essential in the humidity of Cartagena). The hotel has two pools which were great to cool off/hang out in at the end of the day. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to any request that arose. Breakfast in the second floor dining room each morning was fantastic. The location in central Old Town Cartagena also meant that all bars/restaurants were within walking distance.I would 100% stay here again.
Diego Ontaneda: Five stars. Casa de Alba is this gorgeous boutique hotel built in a historic house right in front of the cathedral in the old walled city.Location is unbeatable: You're walking distance from the best restaurants, clubs, cafés, and tourist spots in the old city.Class & décor: the owners have hand-picked everything you see in the hotel. the furniture, the art, the marble finishes... everything is tastefully chosen, and the collective impact is quite striking. The staff: the idea is that you will feel at home. The staff is professional and kind, and they add a lovely touch of human warmth to the experience.Food & drinks: top, top, top. You're welcomed with the best mojito (apparently the original recipe can be traced back to this house, which used to belong to Sir Francis Drake!). The in-house mixologist is a master, truly. And the meals were all delicious.Air conditioning! Don't take it for granted in the old city. And here you might actually freeze if you don't adjust it :)Do yourself a favor, and get this unique experience when in Cartagena!
Edgar Rafael Murillo Rodríguez: It is an excellent and exclusive place. Great attention; the variety of cocktails is excellent, as is the food.In addition, the staff is always very service minded. The space and atmosphere is crazy. It was a great experience.

Alfiz Hotel: what do users think?
mariano bruzzon: Excellent place to spend a few days in Cartagena. From the first moment the friendliness and hospitality of the staff stand out and give an extra plus to the entire stay. The breakfast is very rich and of very good quality. Although Cartagena is a noisy city, the interior of the hotel is very quiet despite being located in the historic center. Highly recommended!!
Ana Gonzalez: We absolutely loved our stay here, and we would go back as the experience was great. The location is great! The costumer service is fantastic, everyone was so nice and helpful. Always giving us great advise, and recommendations for places to visit, and things to eat. They were all super attentive, and they have 24/7 front desk support.Location: The hotel is located inside the walled city, on the Centro Historico. Steps away from the Torre del Reloj. It's actually walking distance to everything, including Getsemani (at least it was for us, and we were there with my mother). You can find great restaurants, discos, icecream stores, shopping and pretty much anything around it. However, please be aware that with it's centric location you will also see and hear a lot of movement around it, so if you are a light sleeper, take notice. It did not affect us at all, as we are deep sleepers, so the centric location was great for us!The reception: When you get to the hotel, they welcome you with a complimentary drink, which was very delicious. The place feels as if you had stepped through a time portal, and went back to the colonial times. So cool. They offer free coffee, books that you can borrow, and some binders with recommended tours and attractions. The front desk ladies that were in when we first got there, were supper attentive, and made the check-in process a super easy experience.Room: We stayed in the room called La Republica, and it is a beautiful room. It has a balcony to the main street full of flowers, a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedroom on the main floor of the suite offers a little more privacy as it has a door, however, we believe this is the secondary room, as the bed is smaller than the king size bed that you can find on the second floor. The bathroom here is slightly bigger than the one found on the second floor, however, please keep in mind that they are on the smaller size. The AC can be set at a lower temperature here as well, as the room can be closed off and has it's own AC unit.To get to the second floor, you will need to use the spiral staircase. The bed on the second floor is huge, and you can find the hair dryer there as well. The bathroom is smaller than the one on the first floor. The AC for this room is shared with the rest of the unit, so it can get a little hotter than expected. It is still nowhere near as hot as it gets outside (yes, Cartagena is VERY hot).Note: Because there is a balcony to the main street, the suite can get loud at night, however it has extra wooden doors that you can close on top of the glass doors, and that will help with the noise.Extras: The hotel offers free breakfast. We ate the breakfast at the hotel everyday, as the food was delicious. Things to know, the juice comes from very interesting fruits, my husband loved them, but I was not into them. They mostly change the juice per day. The bowls with fruits were very good, the fruit served is very fresh. There's a small pool on the second floor, same floor as the room we were staying in. It's very cute, but it is small. The water stays pretty warm as the weather in Cartagena is super hot. I loved it.There's a jacuzzi on the rooftop, you need to ask the front desk before using it, but it's beautiful up there. However, you do need to go up a more difficult spiral staircase than the one in the room. It was an adventure for me, but my husband and my mother did not find it difficult. The bedroom has a small fridge with water, beers, sodas and cold wine. These cost extra, but they are there in case you need it. We found the prices to be ok, but you can still find better prices on supermarkets or drugstores.Overall, we loved the place, we loved the staff, and we would go back as it was an awesome experience.
Walter Herbert: Couldn't be happier with the service by the staff, the breakfast, great room and the best location in the walled city 3 minutes from the Clock Tower square. A shout out to Karina who made everything excellent. We travel all over the world and are very experienced travelers and it doesn't get any better than this.Nearby activities: So many sights and shopping and restaurants within minutes of this location.Walkability: Best location in the walled city. Near everything.
Reb Yooper: Perfect hotel for experiencing Cartagena's Old City. The building is beautiful, historic, and well-maintained. Our second floor room was a two-level suite with the living area and bath on the lower level and a bedroom upstairs. Air conditioning is essential for any stay this time of year and ours worked perfectly. The entire hotel was immaculate which reflects well on the staff and management. Breakfast was a treat with tropical fruit and juices along with made-to-order eggs and sides. Despite its location in the heart of the Old City, the hotel was quiet at night with little street noise. All members of the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The Alfiz is the perfect representation of a "Boutique Hotel." Should we be lucky enough to return to Cartagena, we'll surely stay at the Alfiz.
Salvador Alvarez: A very nice boutique hotel. With very good attention from the staff. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The relation price facilities very well.It is located exactly in the center and from there everything is within a few blocks.
Lin Jones: The hotel is in a beautiful old colonial era house with a lot of architectural details and antique furniture. It has a small pool (slightly bigger than a U.S. hot tub), and a courtyard. The room has high ceilings and simple furnishings. There are three rooms on the ground floors and maybe four or five rooms on the second floor. The rooms on the ground level facing the courtyard where the breakfast is also served. So it can be noisy in the morning and not for sleeping in. The room was newly painted a few days ago so it has the chemical paint odors. We ended up leaving the windows and door open to try to air it out. And the location is near major plazas, so I can hear the music from nearby venues. The breakfast is OK but I have far better breakfast at other Colombian hotels. I don’t think I will stay here again in the future.
c b: This hotel was one of the great hits of our 3 week stay in Colombia. The hotel itself is quiet and comfortable. A structure built in 17th century I believe.Staff were exemplary. My wife fell I’ll and the staff went out of their way, including making special chicken for her. They were very attentive to her.Morning breakfast was something to look forward to.The location was great. Easy walking to anywhere in the Walled City and Getsemani
Sensacional.
Fernando Castro: The place is very warm and the attention is excellent
Amanda G: This hotel was so incredibly fantastic, there truly are no words to describe it. If you’re looking for something intimate and cozy with great food and perfect staff, stay here. I stayed here twice within a week’s vacation and wish I could stay longer. It is PERFECT. You must stay here.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
S G: We booked the first night in a family room which was located on the second floor. It was beautiful with a balcony. Our other room on the first floor was still good but not spectacular like our family room.Breakfast is included and was delicious. Made to order eggs, yucca, arepa. Fresh fruits and bread before meal.Service is great! Everyone was super nice and very helpful. Any questions we had they answered. Manuel the first day was super helpful and welcoming. Laudy was also super helpful, nice and kind. The hotel is in a great area. Was able to walk to everything. What I liked most about it was the safety. They don't allow everyone to walk in. You have to ring the doorbell and they'll let you in.I enjoyed my stay.
Marlene sadon: Excellent location in the walled City. Friendly and helpful staff.Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.Rooms: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Shripal Parekh: Historical hotel ! I liked the rooms, the service and the location.Rooms: Very interesting, historical feel but with all the amenities. TV can be better and wifi can be improved but otherwise no issues.Nearby activities: Perfect location right in the historical center.Walkability: Great location, walkable to anywhere in the historical center.
Tim Cain: Great place to stay when you are in Cartagena. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly. Central location.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Julian Diaz: The best experience for its comfort, hospitality, excellent location and service. We will surely return together with my wife.A luxury of experience the services for us to enjoy our honeymoon.
Peter Klenk: An excellent location, everything in the old city and surrounding area is an easy walk. A pleasant breakfast is provided, the pool is a small but refreshing place to cool off after a day of walking. ATM, good food, all located nearby. I suggest a room on the higher floors if you don’t mind stairs. The first floor is a bit loud in the morning as doors open into courtyard where breakfast is served. If you are an early bird, this is not a problem. Staff is great; friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and have very high ceilings. Bed was firm but soft. Shower in our room was a large cement tub that you have to step over, but no problem unless you have mobility issues. The bedding and towels are very clean but had a detergent smell that may affect you if you have allergies. The pillows are plentiful and soft. Maid service each day and they do a wonderful job. Plenty of outlets for your charging needs.
William Evans: Most charming amazing boutique in the Old CityRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Asa: The hotel was a beautiful one with a great location within the walled city. The staff were amazing, kind and absolutely made our stay so much more memorable. Even after weeks I miss the hotel and the wonderful staff for the lovely conversations. The breakfast, set standard menu, was one of the best I have had - clean, fresh, tasty! Loved the yard and the pool as well for the intimate vibes. Thanks so much, you have definitely made us want to come back soon.

Márcio Ruiz: Hotel lindo e agradável. Boa localização e os funcionários muito simpáticos
Facundo Utrera: The hotel is just excellent. The facilities are constantly clean, with excellent ventilation and lighting. You never find out when the staff is working, but everything is always impeccable. The breakfasts are excellent. The warmth of the staff, all of them, is remarkable. The reception, always available and attentive to any need. They have the best recommendations for activities in Cartagena or outside of it. Your help in making reservations of any kind was a 10 for our trip!Rooms: Las habitaciones tienen dimensiones perfectas.

Claudia Alcántar: I was fascinated by everything, they made our stay incredible, the construction, decoration, food, uff the staff, super super helpful and friendly, I hope to return soon, I recommend it and I presume, Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Mantas Lip: Do not recommending stay here especially if you are American. Terrible reception guys. We got small room in basement without windows. Bad experience. And yes, they have concrete hole with water on top.
Eitel Peltzer Meschini: Spectacular. In the best area of the walled city of Cartagena. The facilities 10/10. Impeccable. The service, on another level
Wolfgang Freitag: I wouldn't go back, it doesn't have an elevator, you have to go up 3 floors to the room for US$ 500.- per day that you pay for. It does not have a dining room, the pool that did not work is on the 5th floor. It is not a 5*, as it is advertised. When it rains they put buckets on the stairs. The only thing that saves it is the friendliness of its staff.
Ana Luisa Barragan: Excellent location, one step away from everything in the historic city!Very warm attention from all the staff!I would love to come back!!Thank you
Carla Cox: Thank you Antonio,Jhon and Randy!!Fabulous Boutique Hotel!! Excellent service and Breakfast. Excellent location and I had one of the best vacations ever because I stayed here.
