Arte Getsemani: what do users think?
Horacio Blanco: Very colorful, paintings and art everywhere! You have to take some time to enjoy it
Marie Ekpema: Got a one of a kind piece here at a great price (after bargaining)
José Lucas Gómez: Very nice to walk and enjoy art
Sandra Ramirez: I liked it a lot, you can breathe art in its streets👏ideal for walking and enjoying its decorations.
Lenin Trujillo: A place that you definitely have to visit and take your time to admire its paintings. At that time I couldn't buy a painting because it wasn't in my plans but I wanted to buy one. How can I contact the author? Thank you very much.
Bernell King: Must visit. You will not stop admiring the art form, the variety of expressions
Andrew Van Hao: Nice art works lining the street. - 2022.08.18
WillIAM Morelo: Magical, majestic, obligatory place to go for a walk
Camila Herrera: An interesting gallery housing different works from each artist in the collective. Definitely worth a stop inside if you’re already walking by it!
Maria Elvira Pájaro: Beautiful and magical. They have to come!!
Vanessa Bautista: Pieces that stimulate the viewer. Incredible and potential artists. Excellent work and attention. Recommended.
Veronica Vera: Great prices for beautiful art and they ship internationally!
Andrés Navarro: Spectacular!!! A place where homage is paid to culture and art and in turn adorns the landscape with these beautiful views.
Elian Siles: Please take a tour of the place.Walk see and enjoy. It is one of the most traditional areas, and they tell me that it resists change because it maintains the essence of the people of Cartagena. But the people, its streets and its beauty transport you.Ideal for those who love the traditional of the place.Go through the streets and look inside the houses.By the way, buy some handicrafts or have a coffee there.
Karissa George: Amazing experience! After viewing art online, I commissioned a special gift to be created for my husband's birthday and presented to him during our trip a month later. The execution was perfect, the art is remarkable and the experience is unforgettable.
DiegoRom: Fantastic Gallery!!!
César Augusto Martínez Cabieles: Street with art in theStreet . Variety of paints
Marcela Martinez: I wanted to buy a painting and I thought it was overpriced and the painter did not want to negotiate a discount. Later in some shops in the historic center I found very similar paintings... I don't know if they are really worth it
Nadia: Beautiful pieces of art 🎨 🖼 sold by the artists themselves!!
Anthony Ellison: Cool!! Real cool

Hotel Casa del Coliseo: what do users think?
Bryn Toledano: We stayed 4 nights in Casa Coliseo and had a lovely time. The service from the front desk was impecable. They arranged day trips and taxis for us - and the massages were some of the best we have ever had. Sophisticated and beautifully decorated hotel in a central location. We felt very safe - and even though the nightlife outside can get noisy, the room was very quiet. We stayed in the City Room - it is small but well appointed and very clean.
Márcio Ruiz: Hotel lindo e agradável. Boa localização e os funcionários muito simpáticos
Facundo Utrera: The hotel is just excellent. The facilities are constantly clean, with excellent ventilation and lighting. You never find out when the staff is working, but everything is always impeccable. The breakfasts are excellent. The warmth of the staff, all of them, is remarkable. The reception, always available and attentive to any need. They have the best recommendations for activities in Cartagena or outside of it. Your help in making reservations of any kind was a 10 for our trip!Rooms: Las habitaciones tienen dimensiones perfectas.

Juan D Zaparan K: It is a magical place in the middle of Cartagena! The attention and the house is spectacular, the details, the terrace, everything incredible.
Claudia Alcántar: I was fascinated by everything, they made our stay incredible, the construction, decoration, food, uff the staff, super super helpful and friendly, I hope to return soon, I recommend it and I presume, Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Mantas Lip: Do not recommending stay here especially if you are American. Terrible reception guys. We got small room in basement without windows. Bad experience. And yes, they have concrete hole with water on top.
Eitel Peltzer Meschini: Spectacular. In the best area of the walled city of Cartagena. The facilities 10/10. Impeccable. The service, on another level
Wolfgang Freitag: I wouldn't go back, it doesn't have an elevator, you have to go up 3 floors to the room for US$ 500.- per day that you pay for. It does not have a dining room, the pool that did not work is on the 5th floor. It is not a 5*, as it is advertised. When it rains they put buckets on the stairs. The only thing that saves it is the friendliness of its staff.
Ana Luisa Barragan: Excellent location, one step away from everything in the historic city!Very warm attention from all the staff!I would love to come back!!Thank you
Carla Cox: Thank you Antonio,Jhon and Randy!!Fabulous Boutique Hotel!! Excellent service and Breakfast. Excellent location and I had one of the best vacations ever because I stayed here. Thank you so much to ALL the Staff of Casa de Coliseo Cartagena. You are amazing people doing great work in your community.

Casa de Alba Hotel Boutique: what do users think?
Rebecca Marks: Casa De Alba Boutique deserves more than five stars! Elegant with old world charm that makes it a a perfect complement to the ambiance of the walled city. Perfectly located and easy access to what Cartagena has to offer. Rooms are exquisite and very comfortable. It was lovely to have both pools and a beautiful front deck to enjoy fabulous food and watch the city life below. The staff is superb and made our stay wonderful in every way! Special thanks to Jefferson; he went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for us and secured bookings for us at several amazing restaurants that we were unable to do on our own! We will be back to visit Cartagena and our friends at Casa De Alba Boutique!
Manzano Jessica: We stayed here for one night and our stay was absolutely wonderful !The hotel is in the “Cartagena old town”, so we were near to everything. The staff is so polite and full of advices.Breakfast was great with choices for eggs and juices. We had it on their little balcony with the street view, but we could also have it on the room.We will definitely come back and recommend it !Thank you 🙏🏽
Angelica Lawrence: I had the time of my life! I absolutely loved my stay. My sister and I were treated like royalty. Carlos went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! He set up taxi arrangements, horse and carriage rides, dinner reservations, excursions, massages and more. The staff was so pleasant and thought. I loved the indoor pool and decor. Carlos greeted us everyday with a smile and new insights about Cartenga. All I can say is wow and thank you for making my birthday so special! The breakfast was so delicious and the hotel is so peaceful. It truly is the perfect getaway. I recommend casa de alba for 5 stars! The canopy beds were so royal and the views and location is perfect in the old city. Thank you so much Carlos for everything!

Tatiana Linares Gonzalez: It is the most beautiful hotel I know in the walled city, full of small details that make the experience incredible
Janice Baldwin: This boutique hotel deserves even more than 5 stars! We rented the entire place for the 10 of us for one of my best friends 50th birthday! The food was amazing, the chef was wonderful. The staff was incredible ~ Carlos and Milton made sure everything was perfect. They kept us safe ~ and set up tour guides and reservations and even made sure we all made it back to the hotel safely. We laughed with them, and we hugged them. If you are ever in need of a wonderful place for a group or just a couple this place is perfect. We all fell in LOVE with Cartagena and we all want to go back already! ❤️❤️❤️
Miguel Acosta: THE BEST IS ITS PEOPLE.Excellent service from all its staff, reception, bar, kitchen, chambermaids... all very attentive and friendly, they strive to make you feel at home and help you in any way possible. The architecture is from an old house in excellent condition with a very warm and pleasant atmosphere, the rooms are pleasant and the bed is very comfortable to rest. It is inside the walled city close to everything. If we return to Cartagena we would stay here again.
Michael Sundholm: Wonderful hotel with terrific and attentive service. Antonio, Hernan, and Baker were all very helpful and professional.Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a beautiful view of the street or you could sit in a very well decorated eating area. The pool area is always kept clean, neat, and beautiful.Other guests were friendly and respectful. The pool on the rooftop was amazing!Whenever we had a question or needed any assistance we were always met with kind and patient persistence to get us where we needed to go, helped us secure cabs to a and from the airport and arranged a Covid test for us.The value definitely is amazing to stay at such a great hotel with excellent staff!
Ariadna: Great facilities and attention received by all the staff. Very well located. We have good memories and desire to repeat.
Diana Zapata: Antique houseRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sarah Cohen: The most incredible experience! Hernan and Milton made sure everything we needed was taken care of, booking restaurant reservations and even having snacks ready for us when we got back from a long boat day. Would recommend Casa de Alba to anyone I know traveling to Cartagena! Can’t wait to go back!!
Michele Cantelo: Since I can't reply to the hotels response, I'll set some details straight here:- The rate was $120 on our end, not sure what the $40 is, but $120 is very normal pricing for a nice hotel in Colombia. This can be confirmed through a simple Google search. I also have never felt the need to call hotels directly to confirm bookings when I have an email from a reputable company confirming it and have paid already. It's never been an issue before.- I absolutely wasn't screaming. I was too confused to even be angry in the moment. I have no idea where the "famous" traveler thing came from. This is completely fabricated and laughable.- They did not explain anything about not letting others in because a family was there. That's the main thing that I complain about in the review - the total lack of explanation and hospitality. From the moment they opened the door, they were unpleasant, even before knowing what we were there for or allowing us to speak. It wouldn't have cost them a thing for the staff member to be friendly.- We booked through Hotels.com, not Expedia. But, as I said, the mistake was seen across *all* websites, so it's not surprising the hotel has this detail confused.----We booked this hotel through Hotels.com and arrived yesterday only for their doorman to be extremely rude and not honor our reservation. They made a mistake in their pricing (across all websites - every website had this price, Booking, Trivago, etc.) and priced it lower than their actual rate. At the door, they were rude, didn't even apologize for their mistake, and acted as if *we"* had done something wrong. They didn't offer to let us into the lobby to correct the mistake (we could have paid the full price) or even just to have a place to sit while we found a new reservation. They just left us in the street with all of our bags and nowhere to go due their mistake (it couldn't have just been Hotels.com, as the price showed on EVERY website the same.) Even people on the street were shocked by how rude the man who worked there was. It's one thing for a logistical error to happen. It's another thing to have a total lack of hospitality, be totally rude, and leave people stranded. I've travelled 20+ countries and lived abroad for 4+ years and NEVER experienced this sort of thing.
Jesús Johan Villalobos G.: 👌🏽
Erick Cuellar: If I could give Casa de Alba more stars I would! Andres, Thomas, Baker, Hernan, and Antonio took the best care of us. The breakfast was delicious and prepared exactly at the time we asked. Baker made amazing drinks (ORDER THE PASSIONFRUIT MOJITO!) The rooms are spacious, super comfortable, and AC works well. Hernan helped us with transportation from and to the airport and our covid tests. At night Antonio served as our personal tour guide to get us around and ensure we didn't get lost. I didn't expect the level of attention my girlfriend and I received. We were sad to leave, but excited to plan another stay in the future with Casa de Alba. Thank you for an unforgettable time.
Franklin Manuel Diaz Muñoz: It is Fantastic, dreams come true ..... unique, passion and reality ..
Ty Allred: I stayed here with friends over a long weekend and we each loved it. The entire hotel is super clean. The rooms are very unique and come with a solid A/C (essential in the humidity of Cartagena). The hotel has two pools which were great to cool off/hang out in at the end of the day. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to any request that arose. Breakfast in the second floor dining room each morning was fantastic. The location in central Old Town Cartagena also meant that all bars/restaurants were within walking distance.I would 100% stay here again.
Diego Ontaneda: Five stars. Casa de Alba is this gorgeous boutique hotel built in a historic house right in front of the cathedral in the old walled city.Location is unbeatable: You're walking distance from the best restaurants, clubs, cafés, and tourist spots in the old city.Class & décor: the owners have hand-picked everything you see in the hotel. the furniture, the art, the marble finishes... everything is tastefully chosen, and the collective impact is quite striking. The staff: the idea is that you will feel at home. The staff is professional and kind, and they add a lovely touch of human warmth to the experience.Food & drinks: top, top, top. You're welcomed with the best mojito (apparently the original recipe can be traced back to this house, which used to belong to Sir Francis Drake!). The in-house mixologist is a master, truly. And the meals were all delicious.Air conditioning! Don't take it for granted in the old city. And here you might actually freeze if you don't adjust it :)Do yourself a favor, and get this unique experience when in Cartagena!
Edgar Rafael Murillo Rodríguez: It is an excellent and exclusive place. Great attention; the variety of cocktails is excellent, as is the food.In addition, the staff is always very service minded. The space and atmosphere is crazy. It was a great experience.

Consuelo Manzanares: Beautiful place, we had a problem with the water and the manager did her best until she solved it. 100% recommended. Its location is in a very quiet area and close to everything
natalie duchens: Excellent Hotel, I recommend it, it has a very good location and services. The staff is attentive and friendly.
María Elena Villarroel Martínez: Zero with children. That they should say it on their terms. The atrocious employee who is in the morning interrupts my breakfast to "ask" me to calm down my son with autism. I swear that girl is terrible! terrible service
Luciano Rodrigues: .
karl meesh: I can't recommend this place enough. It's cheap for what it is. Beautiful and relaxing the pool is quiet with no people. Air conditioning rocks. Despite other reviews, we had no trouble with hot water. Staff are kind but the hotel is basic in terms of services. No bar ect. However, this is good as next door is a beer shop and you can bring beers to the hotel. This is souch cheaper than drinking at hotel prices all day. You even have a fridge to keep them cold. I'll be staying again.
Nicolas Aguillon Hernandez: The truth is that the place is very nice, but the service seems deficient to me, from a night staff that does not say hello, well that's the least of it.I was in Cartagena for work issues and I found this place, I stayed with my co-worker and at the reception on Monday I reported that I would stay until Saturday at most and they call me on Wednesday in the middle of the working day to come for my money , that the room was already rented. I found it disrespectful that instead of confirming my stay they told me to come get my bags. Without prior notice at 1 pm when check in is at 3 pm, I receive 3 calls in less than 15 min while I have lunch to come get my bagsThe place aesthetically is fine, but it is a detail that damages the entire hotelTo never return, I do not recommend it, terrible attention..........
Dark Phantom: I wish i can give zero star's cuz what happened here is a desaster! I reccomend no one this place, please look for another Hotel or an Airbnb!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Anna Vives Soler: The place is nice inside, old and well maintained, plus it is located within the walled city. As points against, the room that we had was the most noisy, it was a ground floor that faced the street and you could not sleep any night from the noise of the vehicles and people passing by. The breakfast is correct although a little expensive for what is offered, for example, for the coffee, there is no milk, it is cream, and there is no natural juice. Also the room was full of mosquitoes. Although there were mosquito repellents in the sockets, it must not have worked.
Gomez Addams: It’s not a four star hotel. It’s more like an average three star hotel. It looks nice from the outside, and the courtyard is pretty. The rooms, however, are smaller than some walk-in closets. They keep the place clean but in general it’s pretty spartan, thin towels, cheap sheets, etc. I opted for the hotel breakfast one day (15k pesos). It was one scrambled egg, one piece of toast, a small bowl of fruit and a small coffee.Upon arrival, I learned that you don’t get keys, you have to ring to be let in. The second day the bell stopped working so I had to pound on the door and hope someone heard me.On the positive side, the staff was quite nice. The location is convenient, right in the thick of the historic area. The owner, Gloria, is nice enough, but rather distant and doesn’t engage with the guests at all. Overall it’s okay, but I think it’s overpriced at $60/night.
Silvia Polo: Cozy, beautiful house, very distinguished, cozy atmosphere, good attention. Excellent location in the Historic Center.
Fabiana Marin Velandia: Excellent service, comfortable and beautiful facilities
CARLINA MARIA DEL CARMEN ACENDRA CASTILLO: The pool was what I liked the most, it is small but cozy
mari torres: Close to everything.

From Jesus welcoming special guests to the mayordomos (thank you Rudy, Diego, Amaury and Armando!) and everyone else in the hotel. The facilities are stunning and full of history and the food is amazing in all restaurants. I highly recommend the restaurant 1621 for amazing fine dining! Can’t wait to go back one day!
Vilma Barrios: I had lunch with my family, excellent attention, service and food
Karen McNeill: This place is worth every penny! The people are beautiful, welcoming, and most of all kind. The rooms are a little outdated, but for the most part you don’t spend a lot of time in your room. The hotel has everything you need and it’s conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. I highly recommend this place. They nailed “customer service”! I will return!
Luchy Cuentas May: Simply, the best place at all times... I highlight the warmth and simplicity of its collaborators...Food & drinks: Las habitaciones, sus áreas, su gastronomía, en fin todo es excelente. Es un lugar muy completo.
Gustavo Enrique Soto: Excellent menu served by high-level professionals
Juancho Arcilla: It was a flawless lunch. Pate of black and green olives, capers and anchovies on bread.Exquisite seafood casserole accompanied by Viognier blanc wine.Excellent prices

The breakfast is very good, the pool is used to the maximum and the rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff is super attentive and respectful.
Camila Castro: The house is very nice and pleasant, the room has what is specified. The atmosphere is familiar and calm. Miguel and the entire service were extremely kind people and willing to help us. Although the place is more or less a 15-minute walk from the walled city, at night it is preferable to take a taxi.
Teija Reyes: Amazing place, peaceful, beautiful, clean, very close to ciudad amurallada and sea. Staff was amazing!Rooms: Spacy rooms with air conditioning and hot waterNearby activities: Close to the old historic town, 1 block from the seaSafety: Very safe quiet neighborhoodWalkability: Walking distance for the old town and sea shoreFood & drinks: Great breakfast with 4 different choicesNoteworthy details: Amazing staff, excellent service
Alek Zelnins: Great historic hotel. Friendly staff, very safe.
Ana Han: Stayed at this beautiful home from February 8-14, 2023. It was the perfect stay. Close to the colonial city that you could walk if you wanted to, but far enough from all the noise. The property is kept SUPER clean which is a priority for me. Anything you need Miguel and Xavier are there to help you. Marina and the cook (gosh wish i could remember her name) felt like family....really felt as if I were coming HOME everyday night after touring and then waking up to a delicious breakfast outside in the courtyard while listening to the birds......i remember feeling lucky I picked this place to stay. There is a little "tienda" or store on the block to buy beer or whatever. I sat in the front with friends some nights having a nigh cap and just watching people pass by....also, i treated myself to an arepa with huevo (yummy) sold next to the the store entrance one morning! This is the perfect place to stay if visiting alone or with family...i will be back as I miss it already:-)
Pietro Beschi: Bellissima casa coloniale.
Mabel Pachon: Pleasant stay, it preserves the period decoration that evokes the past when life was not in a hurry. Very friendly staff. Splendorous patio with very beautiful gardens.
Kevin O'Brien: We had a great 8 nights here, and can't wait to come back. It is a beautiful building, with rooms that have perfect air conditioning. The staff are the diamonds in the crown, always smiling and are very helpful. The breakfast is good, and the location is ideal, as no noise at night and only a short distance from the walled city, the beach, and walking distance of the Trinidad plaza.Rooms: Are big and airy
Prajyoth Mirajkar: Nice colonial place with individual rooms. Staff is friendly and around 7min walk to old town.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
😉Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Jessie Laurore: Casa Bustamante is a small and intimate hotel with a lot of heart. The staff are very kind, attentive, and welcoming. Miguel always asked how our trip was going and he was usually the kind face that welcomed us back after a night out!The hotel has a beautiful patio with a clean, relaxing pool. The patio is also where they serve a delicious breakfast each morning. If you’re visiting Cartagena, I thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel!
Christie Laurore: I stayed at this hotel for a week in December and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I also want to give a special shout out to Miguel who was always friendly even when greeting us at 2 am. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious and the fresh juices and fruit were different everyday. Also the hotel itself was beautifully decorated and made for great pictures. It was also a short walk to Centro and an easy drive to/from the airport. I would 100% stay here again!
Neussymar Magalhaes: Hotel boutique nota mil.
Etienne Michon: Lovely colonial house, comfortable, close to the old city and very safe. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, with a special shutout to Miguel who was the best! And the tasty breakfast was the best way to start our day. Thanks much!!
Orlando Portugal: It is a very comfortable hotel. With architectural installation, the attention was very kind and always flat to answer any concern
Jesús Calonge Sainz: It is very beautiful, the giant rooms, super comfortable beds and the pool gave us life. Miguel was very attentive to us at all times!Bad points:1. There is a nightclub just behind the hotel and on Saturday and Sunday from 5 pm there was a lot of noise.2.The rich breakfast, but it is a bit scarce. One of the days I was very hungry and they gave me a bowl of milk with cereal. What was my surprise when when checking out they charged me 15,000 pesos! I found it quite ugly and seedy.3.It is a bit far from the historic center on foot. But hey, an Uber is 7,000 pesos.
Fermin GL: Cozy hotel in a historic house, two minutes walk from the walled downtown area. With a small pool to cool off and a good breakfast. It would lack a bit of privacy in the rooms, number 1 is next to the person at the reception.A bit noisy at night, music playing.

Amarla Boutique Hotel Cartagena: what do users think?
Daniel Rubio Sánchez: The hotel is fantastic. Well located, taken care of and the staff makes you feel like home. I recommend it without hesitation.
David Weber: We had the pleasure of staying at Amarla Boutique Hotel in Cartagena for 2 days and it was simply perfect! The hotel has a great location in the heart of the old town and its staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the spacious rooms to their rooftop terrace with stunning views, every detail is guaranteed to make your stay a memorable one. Highly recommend it!
julian roth: Service is a bit slow but I supose its part of the carribean experience. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is beautiful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
ariel perdomo: ExcellentRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Carmen Morawska: This is such a special hotel. The common areas are beautiful, and it has definitely kept its colonial charm whilst feeling very luxurious. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The only issue is we had a desk semi-blocking the door, so accessing the balcony wasn’t easy. It’s also worth noting that it’s quite noisy at night. Not the hotel’s fault as it’s coming from the street below, but for the rooms that face the road, maybe they could offer earplugs. The shower did not get very hot for very long and the old shower head means the water sort of splatters in weird directions, but it wasn’t terribly inconvenient. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
Marc Jerome: My wife and I just returned from a three night stay at this wonderful boutique property. The stay was wonderful because both the property and the service were excellent. Our room—#1– was lovely, quiet and peaceful with high ceilings and a large bathroom. The common areas are beautiful and stylish. The rooftop pool was perfect to relax at. But most importantly, the level of service was so good, we felt like we were staying at a private Villa. Every morning, fresh coffee with hot milk was waiting for us before our run. Breakfast, which is included, was delicious. See photos below. For the price, you cannot beat the level of service or room amenities. We highly recommend this 6 room hidden gem. Special shout out to the wonderful staff, including our food server, Dorian; Otto who greeted us in the am and Eduardo andClaudia, who helped make our stay memorable.
John: Other than the outside noise at night, our stay could not have been better.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Maria Jose Gaviria: It is a wonderful hotel, very welcoming, the food is delicious, we enjoyed it. We celebrated our marriage at Amarla and it was wonderful. The location is great, very central. The rooms are very comfortable
Jessie: Gorgeous hotel in a fantastic location. The hotel is impeccably styled and includes a delicious made to order breakfast. Rooms were clean and beautiful and the staff was super friendly. Definitely the place to stay in Cartagena
Aníbal Rojas: Is a great place, cool room but not really practical because all the vintage furniture and some odd choices in the bathroom. The service is absolutely great, and the common areas are also excellent: Relaxing, quiet, fresh, beautifuly decorated.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Marcel Rivera Díaz: Great event spaceexceptional service
Ana Isis Duarte: Amarla far exceeded expectations in all facets. The staff was courteous, helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my family’s stay absolutely marvelous. Everything on the breakfast menu is outstanding and the staff gladly made any slight alterations to meals to meet there needs of the pickiest of eaters. The front office staff are experts of the old town and have amazing recommendations for food and sights. They were extremely helpful in navigating transportation needs. 100% stay here if you are in Cartagena!!!For any event, I highly recommend Angie. She was detail oriented, responsive, and well-connected. She is personable and navigated any request, no matter how last-minute, with care, attention to detail, and grace. She made the entire wedding party feel at home and provided us with service that went above and beyond her role. She truly is an amazing person and fantastic at her job. We were lucky to work with her and would jump at any opportunity to work with her again if the opportunity would arise. Truly and eternally grateful for her work and partnership throughout the planning and execution of our wedding.

Alfiz Hotel: what do users think?
mariano bruzzon: Excellent place to spend a few days in Cartagena. From the first moment the friendliness and hospitality of the staff stand out and give an extra plus to the entire stay. The breakfast is very rich and of very good quality. Although Cartagena is a noisy city, the interior of the hotel is very quiet despite being located in the historic center. Highly recommended!!
Ana Gonzalez: We absolutely loved our stay here, and we would go back as the experience was great. The location is great! The costumer service is fantastic, everyone was so nice and helpful. Always giving us great advise, and recommendations for places to visit, and things to eat. They were all super attentive, and they have 24/7 front desk support.Location: The hotel is located inside the walled city, on the Centro Historico. Steps away from the Torre del Reloj. It's actually walking distance to everything, including Getsemani (at least it was for us, and we were there with my mother). You can find great restaurants, discos, icecream stores, shopping and pretty much anything around it. However, please be aware that with it's centric location you will also see and hear a lot of movement around it, so if you are a light sleeper, take notice. It did not affect us at all, as we are deep sleepers, so the centric location was great for us!The reception: When you get to the hotel, they welcome you with a complimentary drink, which was very delicious. The place feels as if you had stepped through a time portal, and went back to the colonial times. So cool. They offer free coffee, books that you can borrow, and some binders with recommended tours and attractions. The front desk ladies that were in when we first got there, were supper attentive, and made the check-in process a super easy experience.Room: We stayed in the room called La Republica, and it is a beautiful room. It has a balcony to the main street full of flowers, a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedroom on the main floor of the suite offers a little more privacy as it has a door, however, we believe this is the secondary room, as the bed is smaller than the king size bed that you can find on the second floor. The bathroom here is slightly bigger than the one found on the second floor, however, please keep in mind that they are on the smaller size. The AC can be set at a lower temperature here as well, as the room can be closed off and has it's own AC unit.To get to the second floor, you will need to use the spiral staircase. The bed on the second floor is huge, and you can find the hair dryer there as well. The bathroom is smaller than the one on the first floor. The AC for this room is shared with the rest of the unit, so it can get a little hotter than expected. It is still nowhere near as hot as it gets outside (yes, Cartagena is VERY hot).Note: Because there is a balcony to the main street, the suite can get loud at night, however it has extra wooden doors that you can close on top of the glass doors, and that will help with the noise.Extras: The hotel offers free breakfast. We ate the breakfast at the hotel everyday, as the food was delicious. Things to know, the juice comes from very interesting fruits, my husband loved them, but I was not into them. They mostly change the juice per day. The bowls with fruits were very good, the fruit served is very fresh. There's a small pool on the second floor, same floor as the room we were staying in. It's very cute, but it is small. The water stays pretty warm as the weather in Cartagena is super hot. I loved it.There's a jacuzzi on the rooftop, you need to ask the front desk before using it, but it's beautiful up there. However, you do need to go up a more difficult spiral staircase than the one in the room. It was an adventure for me, but my husband and my mother did not find it difficult. The bedroom has a small fridge with water, beers, sodas and cold wine. These cost extra, but they are there in case you need it. We found the prices to be ok, but you can still find better prices on supermarkets or drugstores.Overall, we loved the place, we loved the staff, and we would go back as it was an awesome experience.
Walter Herbert: Couldn't be happier with the service by the staff, the breakfast, great room and the best location in the walled city 3 minutes from the Clock Tower square. A shout out to Karina who made everything excellent. We travel all over the world and are very experienced travelers and it doesn't get any better than this.Nearby activities: So many sights and shopping and restaurants within minutes of this location.Walkability: Best location in the walled city. Near everything.
Reb Yooper: Perfect hotel for experiencing Cartagena's Old City. The building is beautiful, historic, and well-maintained. Our second floor room was a two-level suite with the living area and bath on the lower level and a bedroom upstairs. Air conditioning is essential for any stay this time of year and ours worked perfectly. The entire hotel was immaculate which reflects well on the staff and management. Breakfast was a treat with tropical fruit and juices along with made-to-order eggs and sides. Despite its location in the heart of the Old City, the hotel was quiet at night with little street noise. All members of the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The Alfiz is the perfect representation of a "Boutique Hotel." Should we be lucky enough to return to Cartagena, we'll surely stay at the Alfiz.
Salvador Alvarez: A very nice boutique hotel. With very good attention from the staff. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The relation price facilities very well.It is located exactly in the center and from there everything is within a few blocks.
Lin Jones: The hotel is in a beautiful old colonial era house with a lot of architectural details and antique furniture. It has a small pool (slightly bigger than a U.S. hot tub), and a courtyard. The room has high ceilings and simple furnishings. There are three rooms on the ground floors and maybe four or five rooms on the second floor. The rooms on the ground level facing the courtyard where the breakfast is also served. So it can be noisy in the morning and not for sleeping in. The room was newly painted a few days ago so it has the chemical paint odors. We ended up leaving the windows and door open to try to air it out. And the location is near major plazas, so I can hear the music from nearby venues. The breakfast is OK but I have far better breakfast at other Colombian hotels. I don’t think I will stay here again in the future.
c b: This hotel was one of the great hits of our 3 week stay in Colombia. The hotel itself is quiet and comfortable. A structure built in 17th century I believe.Staff were exemplary. My wife fell I’ll and the staff went out of their way, including making special chicken for her. They were very attentive to her.Morning breakfast was something to look forward to.The location was great. Easy walking to anywhere in the Walled City and Getsemani
Sensacional.
Fernando Castro: The place is very warm and the attention is excellent
Amanda G: This hotel was so incredibly fantastic, there truly are no words to describe it. If you’re looking for something intimate and cozy with great food and perfect staff, stay here. I stayed here twice within a week’s vacation and wish I could stay longer. It is PERFECT. You must stay here.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
S G: We booked the first night in a family room which was located on the second floor. It was beautiful with a balcony. Our other room on the first floor was still good but not spectacular like our family room.Breakfast is included and was delicious. Made to order eggs, yucca, arepa. Fresh fruits and bread before meal.Service is great! Everyone was super nice and very helpful. Any questions we had they answered. Manuel the first day was super helpful and welcoming. Laudy was also super helpful, nice and kind. The hotel is in a great area. Was able to walk to everything. What I liked most about it was the safety. They don't allow everyone to walk in. You have to ring the doorbell and they'll let you in.I enjoyed my stay.
Marlene sadon: Excellent location in the walled City. Friendly and helpful staff.Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.Rooms: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Shripal Parekh: Historical hotel ! I liked the rooms, the service and the location.Rooms: Very interesting, historical feel but with all the amenities. TV can be better and wifi can be improved but otherwise no issues.Nearby activities: Perfect location right in the historical center.Walkability: Great location, walkable to anywhere in the historical center.
Tim Cain: Great place to stay when you are in Cartagena. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly. Central location.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Julian Diaz: The best experience for its comfort, hospitality, excellent location and service. We will surely return together with my wife.A luxury of experience the services for us to enjoy our honeymoon.
Peter Klenk: An excellent location, everything in the old city and surrounding area is an easy walk. A pleasant breakfast is provided, the pool is a small but refreshing place to cool off after a day of walking. ATM, good food, all located nearby. I suggest a room on the higher floors if you don’t mind stairs. The first floor is a bit loud in the morning as doors open into courtyard where breakfast is served. If you are an early bird, this is not a problem. Staff is great; friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and have very high ceilings. Bed was firm but soft. Shower in our room was a large cement tub that you have to step over, but no problem unless you have mobility issues. The bedding and towels are very clean but had a detergent smell that may affect you if you have allergies. The pillows are plentiful and soft. Maid service each day and they do a wonderful job. Plenty of outlets for your charging needs.
William Evans: Most charming amazing boutique in the Old CityRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Asa: The hotel was a beautiful one with a great location within the walled city. The staff were amazing, kind and absolutely made our stay so much more memorable. Even after weeks I miss the hotel and the wonderful staff for the lovely conversations. The breakfast, set standard menu, was one of the best I have had - clean, fresh, tasty! Loved the yard and the pool as well for the intimate vibes. Thanks so much, you have definitely made us want to come back soon.
