pablo alfaro: I am peruvian, born and raised in Peru. I heard the best comments of the food on this restaurant. Went with my peruvian wife with lots of expections. Unfortunately the food was not good. Causa de pollo it was smelly, like a little bit rotten. We returned it and the staff recognized that didnt smell good, neither tasted right. “ traditional peruvian ceviche” not good either. No sweet potato ( basic on a peruvian ceviche) no peruvian corn, no lettuce, white onion instead of red. Didnt look good. You can call that ceviche if you want , but not “ traditional peruvian ceviche””. The last dish it was a chaufa de mariscos. It was good overall. Good amount of seafood. Dont know why had mushrooms but it was ok. I am not trying to criticize without a reason. Peruvian food has a tradition and fame well earned and it is important to respect that. If you like real peruvian food i dont recommend this place. They have to pay more attention to details and respect the recipes.

Les plats sont succulents.La seule raison pour ce 4 étoiles est la suivante: lorsque nous avons payé le serveur il nous a montré le reçu de la carte de crédit et nous indique que le pourboire n’était pas inclus et que celui-ci est habituellement donné en argent comptant. Nous avons demandé qu’il nous remette notre facture pour constater qu’il nous avait déjà chargé le pourboire. Le reçu et la facture = 192k cop.Nous leurs avons gentiment dit que ceci n’était pas honnête et qu’il devrait pas prendre les touristes pour des cons.Sur ce je dois dire que je recommande tout de même ce restaurant mais vérifier votre facture pour ne payer la propina 2 fois.

Scott Evans: Update jan 2020: after i posted my review they stopped trying to hustle for additional tip. I eat here almost every day in cartagena. Probably 30x in 3 months. Best Ceviche in the city. La Cevicheria can't even compare. Go here for CevicheLove the food but the waiters try to rip you off. The waiter will lie about the tip. Service is included here. Everything is excellent except for the hustle. Try the mixo ceviche

Julia: I had one of the best meals of my life at Cancha. I highly recommend the Lomo Saltado and the fruity ceviche. Both were absolutely fantastic. I also ordered a vegetarian dish with a pesto sauce over puréed potatoes, mango, and kiwi. It was an unusual but delicious combo, and every ingredient tasted so fresh. The service was excellent as well. This place is an absolute must if you’re visiting Cartagena.

Diana Dowell: I went to Cancha with my mom and daughter after reading all the wonderful reviews. It was absolutely fantastic! The service was impeccable (thank you, Kleiver!!), and the food delicious (order the ceviche caribeño and the salmon wontons, they are to die for!).
